摘要 The emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains and the weaponization of rare bacterial strains pose a potential threat of pandemic disease. Those involved in the treatment and control of infectious diseases have called for the development of a device capable of rapidly, simultaneously, and safely investigate a myriad of culture conditions. In response to this need, a microliter incubator array system is described and results from a proof-of-concept study using yeast cells to determine optimal growth conditions is presented.
