The article presents the results of variety studies on the decorative and economic-biological characteristics of </span><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Hibiscus syriacus</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> L. in the conditions of Tashkent. It is established that the soil and climatic conditions of Tashkent are quite favorable for the cultivation of Syrian hibiscus. As a result of a comprehensive assessment, the most promising, promising and fewer promising varieties were identified. These varieties were introduced to Uzbekistan in recent years and have not yet been able to fully adapt. The Aphrodite variety, which is part of the group of less promising varieties, has not been able to sufficiently show decorative and economic and biological qualities for a long time.
