摘要 We report the synthesis of benzimidazole derivatives using zinc triflate as an efficient catalyst. One-pot synthesis of 2-substituted benzimidazole derivatives from o-phynelyenediamine and substituted aldehydes were developed under zinc triflate in ethanol solvent at reflux temperature.
