摘要
谷歌头脑(Google Brain)团队在正在进行的"洋红项目"(Magenta Project)中,尝试与艺术家和音乐家一起通过机器智能创造引人入胜的艺术作品。一直被认为只是工具的计算机正在挑战人类的创造力,这让设计师对自己将来所能扮演的角色深感不安。本研究基于人与计算机的关系,探讨了设计师与计算机共生的发展方向,提出了将计算工具的最新研究纳入设计过程的方法,并讨论了未来设计过程模型中与计算机共生的可行性。计算机工具能否辅助设计师提升创造力,抑或是计算机能否取代设计师进行创新性设计,必将引导关于"创造力"真正含义的进一步探讨。
Google Brain Team is trying to produce a fascinating art work based on machine intelligence under 'Magenta Project' together with artists and musicians. Computers, previously considered only as tools, are now challenging to the human creativity, causing uneasiness to designers' future roles. This study examines the relationship between human and computers, explores the direction of how the Designercomputer Symbiosis has developed. Based on the findings, the approaches to integrate the latest study results of computing tools into design process are proposed in the paper. In addition, the feasibility of symbiosis of computer and designer in the future design process model is discussed. Nevertheless, it is still controversial that whether the computing tools can help to produce more innovations, or computers can replace a designer's creativity. But what can be ensured is that more in-depth discussions about the truth of 'creativity' will be held.
