Barrier Design Based on the Concept of Social Security

设计不是一种单纯的造物过程,而是通过一系列的创造性活动,引领消费者建立一种安全、健康、合理、有序的生活方式。这就要求设计师在设计的过程中不但要满足消费者追求舒适、安逸生活环境的物质需求,更要从设计师所背负的责任角度,探索那些经常被消费者忽视的安全隐患。障碍设计就是基于这种理念所产生的一种新的设计方式。文章主要通过一系列例证的分析,探究社会安全理念下,障碍设计的基本原则与方法,以及障碍设计在未来的发展方向。

Design is not only a simple process of creation, but a series of creative activities which can lead consumers to establish safe, healthy, reasonable and orderly ways of life. Thus, the designers shall not only meet the consumer's materialistic demands for comfortable and stable living conditions, but also take obliged responsibilities to make up hidden security dangers for the consumers which are often overlooked by them. Thus, the barrier design was born. This paper based on a series of case studies sorts out the basic principles and methods for barrier design under the conception of social security and also explores the development direction of barrier design in the future.
