台湾地区为了促进原住民教育,制定并实行一系列的原住民教育政策,高校原住民招生政策是其中的主要内容,它是原住民升学的制度化的绿色通道,也是培养原住民人才的重要途径。从高校原住民招生政策的实效来看,它保障了原住民高等教育升学权益,促进了原住民教育的发展。但由于各种原因,其在实施中也出现了不尽如意之处。

Taiwan formulates and enforces a series of indigenous inhabitant education policies to promote indigenous inhabitant education.And the college admissions policy for indigenous inhabitant students is the main content of the indigenous inhabitant education policies which is not only the institutionalized green channel for indigenous inhabitant students to enter a higher school but also is a important way to develop talent for the indigenous inhabitant in Taiwan.From the effect of the implementation of the policy for the college admissions policy for indigenous inhabitant,it increased the opportunity for indigenous inhabitant students to enter a higher school and it promote the development of the higher education for the indigenous inhabitant.But due to various reasons,there lies some dissatisfying points in it's implementation process.
