地震沉积学是在沉积学、地震地层学、层序地层学、地震储层预测技术等学科基础上发展起来的边缘交叉学科。目前根据国内外学者研究的进展,可将地震沉积学的发展可初步划分为三个阶段,即萌芽阶段、建立阶段和快速发展阶段。整体而言,地震沉积学的提出和发展很大程度上改变了原来固有的纵向地震相分析思路,利用三维地震进行平面地震相研究和时序剖分的方式进行沉积相研究和沉积演化分析,很大程度上将常规三级层序分析逐渐走向四级、五级甚至更精细更小尺度的层序地层学分析,提高了沉积环境和沉积相分析的精度。地震沉积学整体来看仍然属于一门发展中的学科,很多研究内容和研究方法仍然需要完善和提高,这对于勘探目的层分析和油藏开发精细描述都具有重要意义。

Seismic sedimentology is developed on the sedimentology,seismic stratigraphy,sequence stratigraphy,seismic reservoir prediction technology.According to the domestic and foreign scholars research progress,the development of Seismic sedimentology can be divided into three stages,namely the embryonic phase,the establishment phase and the rapid development phase.Overall,seismic sedimentology is proposed and development,changing the original longitudinal seismic facies analysis method.Using 3Dseismic,it benefits the sedimentary facies,the sedimentary evolution analysis,and timing section of plane seismic phase.Which will largely improve the accuracy of sedimentary facies analysis,promotingconventional sequence analysis gradually to four grade or even finer smaller scales of sequence stratigraphy analysis.Generally speaking,Seismic sedimentology is still in the development phase.It needs to improve and enhance for the research contents and research methods of Seismic sedimentology,which is important significance for the fine-analysisof exploration and development.
