The potential safety hazards,pollution and resource wasting in the closed- loop tank car loading of light oils are introduced. The environmental protection requirements have been met by monitoring the oil vapor leakage at the outlet of tank car,comparison of construction characteristics of cone type sealing hose and closed- loop hose,application of membrane separation process for volatile oil vapor recovery,optimization of operating conditions of oil vapor recovery unit and main equipment and analysis of the operating results.
