根据佛山西站在路网中的定位和作用，结合衔接线路建设情况，分析确定车站站址，研究车站分工及承担的作业类型和作业量，根据各引入线路分布和作业需求，从有利于减少交叉作业，提高作业效率等角度分析车站咽喉区平面布置方案，推荐采用到发线使用均衡的非对称布置方案。

According to the position and role of Foshan West Station in the railway network,and the construction situation of connection railways,the paper analyzed and confirmed the station location,studied the station division and workload. Based on the linked lines distribution and operation demand,the paper also analyzed the station throat layout scheme,and recommended the unsymmetric arrangement scheme as the best scheme,which would be beneficial to the improving opera-tion efficiency.
