敦煌石窟千手千眼观音经变的演变

The Evolution of the Thousand-handed and Thousand-eged Guanyin in Dunhang Grottoes

隋唐时期,密教在中土逐渐盛行,与之相对应的密教观音图像也时常出现。受其影响,地处河西地区的敦煌石窟,在盛唐时期出现了密教流行的千手千眼观音经变图像。经过盛唐、西夏至元代不间断的发展演变,反映出了敦煌地区千手千眼观音经变的信仰情况。

During the Sui and Tang Dynasties,the Esoteric Buddhism was most popular in China,and the Esoteric Buddhism of images of Guanyin was usually appear.Under its influence,Thousand-handed and Thousand-eged Guanyin images were appeared in the Hexi area of Dunhuang Grottoes when flourishing period of Tang.During the Tang Dynasty to Xixia and Yuan Dynasty,it had been developing and changing.And reflecting that belifes of the Thousand-handed and Thousand-eged Guanyin in Dunhang area.
