Objective:To understand the radiation level of PET/CT(Positron emission tomography/Computed tomography)staff and related places, and find out the weak links in the protection management. Methods:We used thermoluminescent dosimeters for personal dose monitoring of staff, the radiation level of X-gamma radiation for workplace environment detection and surface contamination meter for surface contamination monitoring of related sites. Results:The 3 PET/CT staff in Nanjing Military Hospital average annual effective dose was 0.53 m Sv, far below the national standard 20 m Sv of the annual effective dose limit, and post dose size followed by injection of nurses, technicians, physicians; PET/CT equipment protection facilities and wall shielding effects were good, but the indoor dose level of injection and work was high, surface contamination was not monitored in places related to staff. Conclusion:Radiation protection monitoring of PET/CT workplace in the army hospital meets the relevant standard requirements, and the radiation protection management is perfect, but the radiation protection for injection nurses and operating technicians needs to be further strengthened.
