Modal parameters can accurately characterize the structural dynamic properties and assess the physical state of the structure.Therefore,it is particularly significant to identify the structural modal parameters accordi...Modal parameters can accurately characterize the structural dynamic properties and assess the physical state of the structure.Therefore,it is particularly significant to identify the structural modal parameters according to the monitoring data information in the structural health monitoring(SHM)system,so as to provide a scientific basis for structural damage identification and dynamic model modification.In view of this,this paper reviews methods for identifying structural modal parameters under environmental excitation and briefly describes how to identify structural damages based on the derived modal parameters.The paper primarily introduces data-driven modal parameter recognition methods(e.g.,time-domain,frequency-domain,and time-frequency-domain methods,etc.),briefly describes damage identification methods based on the variations of modal parameters(e.g.,natural frequency,modal shapes,and curvature modal shapes,etc.)and modal validation methods(e.g.,Stability Diagram and Modal Assurance Criterion,etc.).The current status of the application of artificial intelligence(AI)methods in the direction of modal parameter recognition and damage identification is further discussed.Based on the pre-vious analysis,the main development trends of structural modal parameter recognition and damage identification methods are given to provide scientific references for the optimized design and functional upgrading of SHM systems.展开更多
The remaining useful life prediction of rolling bearing is vital in safety and reliability guarantee.In engineering scenarios,only a small amount of bearing performance degradation data can be obtained through acceler...The remaining useful life prediction of rolling bearing is vital in safety and reliability guarantee.In engineering scenarios,only a small amount of bearing performance degradation data can be obtained through accelerated life testing.In the absence of lifetime data,the hidden long-term correlation between performance degradation data is challenging to mine effectively,which is the main factor that restricts the prediction precision and engineering application of the residual life prediction method.To address this problem,a novel method based on the multi-layer perception neural network and bidirectional long short-term memory network is proposed.Firstly,a nonlinear health indicator(HI)calculation method based on kernel principal component analysis(KPCA)and exponential weighted moving average(EWMA)is designed.Then,using the raw vibration data and HI,a multi-layer perceptron(MLP)neural network is trained to further calculate the HI of the online bearing in real time.Furthermore,The bidirectional long short-term memory model(BiLSTM)optimized by particle swarm optimization(PSO)is used to mine the time series features of HI and predict the remaining service life.Performance verification experiments and comparative experiments are carried out on the XJTU-SY bearing open dataset.The research results indicate that this method has an excellent ability to predict future HI and remaining life.展开更多
Background:Mental health literacy(MHL)refers to one’s knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and their treatments.This literacy may be influenced by cultural norms and values that shape individuals’e...Background:Mental health literacy(MHL)refers to one’s knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and their treatments.This literacy may be influenced by cultural norms and values that shape individuals’experiences,beliefs,attitudes,and behaviors regarding mental health.This study focuses on adapting the Mental health literacy scale(MHLS)for use in the multicultural context of Israel.Objectives include validating its construct,assessing its accuracy in measuring MHL in this diverse setting and examining and comparing levels of MHL across different cultural groups.Methods:The data collection included 1057 participants,representing all the ethnic groups of the Israeli population aged 18 and over.The tools included the MHLS and a demographic questionnaire.Confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)was employed to assess the original structure of the MHLS.Results:The results revealed that after evaluating the original MHLS,five items were excluded,leading to the validation of a modified version—Israeli mental health scale(IMHLS)with four factors and 25 items.CFA and reliability analyses supported an established and robust four-factor model.Significant ethnic differences in MHLS scores were identified,with Muslim participants showing the highest familiarity with mental disorders,followed by Druze and Christian participants,while Jewish participants had the lowest familiarity.Conclusion:The study concluded that the IMHLS is a valid and reliable tool for assessing MHL in Israel’s diverse and multicultural population.The revised scale better reflects the cultural nuances of the Israeli context.The significant ethnic differences that the study revealed in IMHLS emphasize the importance of culturally sensitive mental health interventions tailored to different ethnic groups in Israel.展开更多
Background:Maternal and child health(MCH)remains a significant public health concern globally despite previous efforts made to improve MCH services.Initiatives such as antenatal care,postnatal care services exclusive ...Background:Maternal and child health(MCH)remains a significant public health concern globally despite previous efforts made to improve MCH services.Initiatives such as antenatal care,postnatal care services exclusive breastfeeding,child vaccination and supplements have been rolled out to improve MCH outcomes.However,inadequate maternal healthcare,socioeconomic factors,obstetric haemorrhaging,complications of hypertension during pregnancy,lack of maternal information,poor universal health coverage and uptake of MCH services exacerbate maternal mortality and child mortality rates,especially in resource-constrained areas in many sub-Saharan African countries including South Africa.Objective:This study aimed to review mobile health(mHealth)interventions deployed to improve maternal and child health outcomes.Methods:The study adopted the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses model to search and retrieve relevant literature from reputable,prominent electronic databases(Google Scholar,Scopus,PubMed,Embase,CINAHL,Web of Science,etc.).A total of 26 papers were selected and analyzed.Results:The findings revealed several mHealth interventions such as MomConnect,Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action,NurseConnect,ChildConnect,CommCare,Road to Health Application and Philani Mobile Video Intervention for Exclusive Breastfeeding have been utilized by healthcare workers and women to improve access to MCH services.However,inadequate digital infrastructure,digital divide,resistance to change,inadequate funding,language barriers,short message service and data costs,lack of digital skills and support,compatibility,scalability and interoperability issues,legislative and policy compliance,lack of mHealth awareness,data security and privacy concerns hinder uptake and utilisation of mHealth interventions.There is a need to scale up and sustain mHealth interventions and update existing regulatory framework,policies and strategies.Conclusion:mHealth interventions offer unprecedented opportunities to improve access to maternal information and substantially improve maternal and child health services.Stakeholder engagement and the development of sustainable funding strategies are important for successfully implementing and scaling mHealth projects while addressing existing and emerging key issues.展开更多
