This study used the Ostracism Experience Scale for Adolescents, the Self-Esteem Scale, and the Peer Relationships Scale to administer questionnaires to 208 high school students in Beijing. The results revealed that the level of social exclusion was significantly and negatively related to peer relationships;self-esteem mediated the relationship between social exclusion and peer relationships. The results of this study have some implications for adolescents in high school in terms of their perceived level of peer relationships.展开更多
