The results show that the embankment of the main stream section of Suzhou River has basically met the planning standards. Water body in the main stream section has basically eliminated Class-V level with restored biodiversity, and the level of river management and protection has been continuously improved. Finally, based on the analysis of the functional positioning of Suzhou River, facing the new situation and new demands as well as existing problems, a governance scheme and strategy for Suzhou River are proposed, providing guidance and reference for the future “water” governance of Suzhou River.展开更多
