近义词辨析一直是英语学习中的重难点,语料库涵盖了大量的真实语料,具有超大容量和便捷检索的特点,可以用作辨析词汇的方法。本文运用基于语料库的方法,以unbelievable和incredible为例,通过分析COCA语料库中的数据,从语域频数、搭配词...近义词辨析一直是英语学习中的重难点,语料库涵盖了大量的真实语料,具有超大容量和便捷检索的特点,可以用作辨析词汇的方法。本文运用基于语料库的方法,以unbelievable和incredible为例,通过分析COCA语料库中的数据,从语域频数、搭配词和语义韵等方面的差异对近义词的细微差别进行了全方位辨析。经过分析,笔者认为将语料库运用至英语教学中,有助于学习者增强分辨近义词的能力,提高熟练运用英语词汇的能力。Synonym discrimination has always been a challenge in English learning. Corpus covers a large amount of real material, with the characteristics of large capacity and convenient retrieval, and can be used as a method of vocabulary analysis. This paper uses a corpus-based method, taking unbelievable, incredible as examples, and analyzes the data in the COCA corpus to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the subtle differences in synonyms from the perspectives of register frequency, collocation, and semantic rhyme. After analysis, the author believes that applying corpus to English teaching will help learners enhance their ability to distinguish synonyms and improve their ability to use English vocabulary proficiently.展开更多
