A novel supervised manifold learning method was proposed to realize high accuracy face recognition under varying illuminant conditions. The proposed method, named illuminant locality preserving projections (ILPP), exploited illuminant directions to alleviate the effect of illumination variations on face recognition. The face images were first projected into low dimensional subspace, Then the ILPP translated the face images along specific direction to reduce lighting variations in the face. The ILPP reduced the distance between face images of the same class, while increase the dis tance between face images of different classes. This proposed method was derived from the locality preserving projections (LPP) methods, and was designed to handle face images with various illumi nations. It preserved the face image' s local structure in low dimensional subspace. The ILPP meth od was compared with LPP and discriminant locality preserving projections (DLPP), based on the YaleB face database. Experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm on the face recognition with various illuminations. 展开更多

AI has been making headlines, especially since ChatGPT was introduced. Malaysia has taken many significant steps to embrace and integrate the technology into various sectors. These include encouraging large companies to build AI infrastructure, creating AI training opportunities (for example, the local media reported Microsoft and Google plan to invest USD 2.2 billion and USD 2 billion, respectively, in the said activities), and, as part of AI Talent Roadmap 2024-2030, establishing AI faculty in one of its public universities (i.e., “Universiti Teknologi Malaysia”) leading the way in the integration and teaching of AI throughout the country. 为适应黄河三角洲湿地快速频繁变化的特点并提高数据解释力度,为黄河三角洲科学规划和管理保护提供必要参考,基于Landsat影像密集观测1986—2021年15个时期的黄河三角洲湿地,研究湿地时空变化,定量分析驱动因素。结果表明:(1)黄河三角... 为适应黄河三角洲湿地快速频繁变化的特点并提高数据解释力度,为黄河三角洲科学规划和管理保护提供必要参考,基于Landsat影像密集观测1986—2021年15个时期的黄河三角洲湿地,研究湿地时空变化,定量分析驱动因素。结果表明:(1)黄河三角洲湿地存在波动变化和阶段性特征,自然湿地减少1579.07 km^(2),滩涂和草甸灌丛损失率均超过60%;人工湿地面积增加了1210.67 km^(2)。(2)农田、建设用地和人工湿地扩张与自然湿地萎缩显著相关,相关系数分别为-0.682、-0.963、-0.976;2009年后因退耕还湿,开垦的影响减弱。(3)输沙量与自然湿地面积相关系数为0.614,在水文因素中起主导作用;1993年以前河口泥沙淤积效应强于海洋侵蚀作用,随后反转。(4)气温升高和干旱事件加剧了湿地损失。 展开更多

目的 探讨腹腔镜下经胆囊管胆总管汇合部微切开胆总管探查取石并一期缝合的临床效果及安全性.方法 回顾性分析2018年1月至2023年1月在我院行腹腔镜下经胆囊管胆总管汇合部微切开胆总管探查取石并一期缝合的患者,按照手术处理方式分为两... 目的 探讨腹腔镜下经胆囊管胆总管汇合部微切开胆总管探查取石并一期缝合的临床效果及安全性.方法 回顾性分析2018年1月至2023年1月在我院行腹腔镜下经胆囊管胆总管汇合部微切开胆总管探查取石并一期缝合的患者,按照手术处理方式分为两组,其中一期缝合组(观察组)189例,T管引流组(对照组)147例.观察两组患者在围手术期手术安全性等观察指标间的差异.结果 两组共336例患者均在腹腔镜下完成手术,且两组患者一般资料基线一致(P>0.05).在手术时间、术后切口区域疼痛情况、术后住院时间方面,两组差异存在统计学意义(P<0.05).观察组2例出现胆漏,对照组2例出现胆漏,均经过通畅引流等保守治疗方式治愈,两组差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).两组患者均未出现术后胆道狭窄(P>0.05).观察组3例术后胆管残留结石,通过内镜下取出,对照组2例术后胆管残留结石,术后8周经T管窦道胆道镜下取出,两组差异无统计学意义(P>0.05).另外,两组在术中出血量、术中明确的非预期胆道损伤、术后引流管携带时间、术后胃肠道恢复时间方面,两组无统计学差异(P>0.05).结论 腹腔镜下经胆囊管胆总管汇合部微切开胆总管探查取石并一期缝合可以有效缩短手术时间,缩短术后住院时间,降低患者术后疼痛程度及发生率,对于胆总管未扩张的胆总管结石合并胆囊结石患者是一种安全、有效、可行的手术方式. 展开更多
