The survey results show that in Zhujiajiao ancient town, official signs are predominantly multilingual, with up to four languages being used. By contrast, non-official signs are mostly monolingual. Additionally, Tibetan and Italian are also present. The linguistic landscape of the ancient town is diverse, comprising 13 types of language combinations, among which Chinese and English appear together most frequently. Currently, there are issues with the linguistic landscape in both official and private signs in Zhujiajiao ancient town. This presents an opportunity to optimize the town’s linguistic landscape.展开更多
