This study used a self-designed demographic questionnaire and quality of leisure life scale to investigate the impact of personal and family factors on the quality of leisure life among 265 college students. The results indicate that: 1) Males have higher levels of leisure external motivation, social skills, problem-solving ability, and time management ability than females. 2) The internal motivation, leisure awareness, and time management ability of Junior college students are lower than those of undergraduate and master’s students, and the time management ability of impoverished students is lower than that of other students. 3) Participation in leisure education can effectively improve the quality of leisure life. Therefore, leisure education should pay attention to gender differences, strengthen care for vulnerable groups, and accelerate the implementation of leisure curriculum construction in universities.展开更多
