The effect of various conditions on the quality and purity of bezafibrate was determined by HPLC. METHOD:Analyzed some possible impurities existing in the crude bezafibrate with HPLC, and determined the effect of various conditions on the quality of bezafibrate. RESULT:The content of bezafibrate in crude product was raised from 79.48% to 93.25% and its purity reached requirement after only one recrystallzation. Additionally, the reaction was easier to take place and the conditions were more gentle than before with the yield unchanged. CONCLUSION:Optimized synthetic process of bezafibrate was more suitable to industrial production.展开更多
