Hvistendahl and Undheim first reported that radicals produced during the volatilization stage were observed in the electron ionization (EI) mass spectra of certain cinnolinium iodides. Under chemical ionization(CI)conditions,radicals were first observed by McEwen and Rudat using a radical-trapping reaction, which was found to be at a sufficiently rapid speed in the gas phase to compete with ionization展开更多
