Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is one of the common chronic complications of diabetes and is chronic kidney disease (CKD) caused by diabetes. In recent years, several studies have shown that a certain relationship between miRNA451a and insulin resistance, and its altered expression occurs in DKD, affecting the progression of DKD. This review summarizes the relationship between insulin resistance and DKD with miRNA451a to provide a further understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment of miRNA51a in type 2 diabetes and DKD.展开更多
