The Shaanxi Provincial Institution of Archaeology excavated a total of 10 burials,including 9 Song Dynasty burials and 1 Jin Dynasty burial,during the construction project at the Qujiang Campus of Xi’an University of...The Shaanxi Provincial Institution of Archaeology excavated a total of 10 burials,including 9 Song Dynasty burials and 1 Jin Dynasty burial,during the construction project at the Qujiang Campus of Xi’an University of Technology between 2001 and 2003.These Song Dynasty burials are catacombs with shaft-ramps and can be classified as three types based on their structures:rectangular shape,‘jia’(甲) shape and knife shape.Burials goods in these burials are not very rich.Most of these burials only yielded 1 or 2 pieces of ceramics or porcelains.Only very few of them were buried with bronze decorations and coins.The Jin Dynasty burial was also a catacomb but its chamber was in ellipse shape.Burials goods only included 2 coins.As one of them is ‘dading tongbao’(大定通宝),this burial can be dated definitely to the Jin Dynasty.展开更多
