Study of the Interior Design Based on Elderly People’s Psychological Behaviors and Requirements

Nowadays,the elderly have become an increasingly large group of people in China,but still many problems exist in their living space.This paper explores the physiological and psychological behavioral changes of the elderly,studies their living space requirements,and tries to put forward targeted design strategies in response.Therefore,making a better and more reasonable living space for the elderly as well as improving their living quality,finally helping the development of elderly-friendly design in China.

Prognostic significance of lymphovascular invasion in colorectal cancer and its association with genomic alterations

BACKGROUND Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) is suggested to be an early and important step in tumor progression toward metastasis, but its prognostic value and genetic mechanisms in colorectal cancer (CRC) have not been well investigated. AIM To investigate the prognostic value of LVI in CRC and identify the associated genomic alterations. METHODS We performed a retrospective analysis of 1219 CRC patients and evaluated the prognostic value of LVI for overall survival by the Kaplan-Meier method and multivariate Cox regression analysis. We also performed an array-based comparative genomic hybridization analysis of 47 fresh CRC samples to examine the genomic alterations associated with LVI. A decision tree model was applied to identify special DNA copy number alterations (DCNAs) for differentiating between CRCs with and without LVI. Functional enrichment and protein-protein interaction network analyses were conducted to explore the potential molecular mechanisms of LVI. RESULTS LVI was detected in 150 (12.3%) of 1219 CRCs, and the presence was positively associated with higher histological grade and advanced tumor stage (both P < 0.001). Compared with the non-LVI group, the LVI group showed a 1.77-fold (95% confidence interval: 1.40-2.25, P < 0.001) increased risk of death and a significantly lower 5-year overall survival rate (P < 0.001). Based on the comparative genomic hybridization data, 184 DCNAs (105 gains and 79 losses) were identified to be significantly related to LVI (P < 0.05), and the majority were located at 22q, 17q, 10q, and 6q. We further constructed a decision tree classifier including seven special DCNAs, which could distinguish CRCs with LVI from those without it at an accuracy of 95.7%. Functional enrichment and proteinprotein interaction network analyses revealed that the genomic alterations related to LVI were correlated with inflammation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, angiogenesis, and matrix remodeling. CONCLUSION LVI is an independent predictor for survival in CRC, and its development may correlate with inflammation, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, angiogenesis, and matrix remodeling.

Clinical observation of hysteroscopic surgery combined with ectopic pregnancy ⅱ decoction and methotrexate in the treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy

Objective:To explore the effectiveness and safety about the treatment of Caesarean Scar Pregnancy combined hysteroscopic surgery with extopic pregnancy Ⅱ decoction and methotrexate(MTX).Methods: A total of 80 cases of CSP patients admitted by our hospital from January 2014 to March 2017 were selected as the subjects. According to the treatment way, the patients were divided into experimental group (n=40) and control group (n=40). The control group was given MTX 50 mg/m2, IM once;and the experimental group was given extopic pregnancy Ⅱ decoction on the basis of the treatment given to the control group;the 8th day hysteroscopic surgery. Routine treatment was given after surgery. Experimental group continued to take extopic pregnancy Ⅱ decoction until monitoring the serum beta-hcg level drops below normal. The general information and curative effect, HCG levels before and after 4, 7 and 11d of treatment;mass diameter before and after 11 d of treatment, menstruation recovery time and the incidence of adverse reactions in 2 groups were observed.Results:After hysteroscopic surgery pretreatment with extopic pregnancy Ⅱ decoction and MTX, HCG levels after 4, 7 and 11d were significantly lower than before, it gradually reduced by time prolonged, and research group was lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant. After treatment with different drugs, the size of pregnancy package in the observation group was significantly smaller than that in the control group. Compared with the control group, the he package block size, beta HCG time and vaginal bleeding time were significantly reduced.Conclusion: It has significant clinical effect of hysteroscopic surgery combined with ectopic pregnancy Ⅱ and MTX in the treatment of CSP. It has worthy of clinical promotion to control the amount of blood, avoid intrauterine adhesion caused by uterine artery embolization and infection et al and reduce burden of the physical and economic of patients.

Preliminary Exploration on the Application of Saussure Sign Concept in Bio-Inspired Design: A Case of Tiantoushui Doll-Design

Simply, shape bionics is to extract an image feature of natural objects, and most of the techniques for transforming and presenting are focused on metaphorical effects. In particular, the extraction process of metaphor design seems to be related to the concept of Saussure signs. Therefore, this research took the doll design of the Tiantoushui community in Changhua County, Taiwan as an example and attempted to use the Saussure concept to extract and evaluate the signs of bio-inspired design. The results showed that a total of three doll works symbolized respectively rice, guava, and pomelo implied the signification of local region by integrating the Saussure code image with the sign-image of the regional nature and transforming its content into “commodity design” and further transferring into “the product value of cultural and creative”. In addition, the specific extraction process included 1) Extraction of image—adjectives in creative products;2) Meaning space of image—adjec- tives in creative products;3) Extraction and determination of design elements of creative products, and 4) Combined the sensibility of creative products and design elements to derive design rules. After preliminary exploration of the extraction steps above, a concrete and efficient bio-inspired design process was proposed in this work. Besides, it was inferred that if further combined with the post-modern design style, it may not only simplify the design elements of creative products but also enhance the design connotations in the future.

Laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration and laparoscopic transductal common bile duct exploration in elderly patients with cholecystolithiasis combined with choledocholithiasis

To the Editor:With the development of minimally invasive surgical technology,laparoscopic transcystic common bile duct exploration plus laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LTCBDE + LC) has become the first choice of treatment for cholecystolithiasis combined with biliary calculi.In addition,there is little prospective research.We compared 150 patients who underwent LTCBDE + LC with 150 patients who underwent laparoscopic transductal common bile duct exploration (LTDBDE)+ LC.All patients and participants were informed of the study and voluntarily provided informed consent.
