Met...Objective: To screen and analyze key express sequence tags (ESTs) which were differentially displayed in every period of SD rats' primary hepatic carcinoma and reveal the molecular mechanism of carcinogenesis. Methods: Using diethylnitrosamine (DENA) as a cancerigenic agent, animal models with different phases of primary hepatic cancer were constructed in SD rats. Rats were respectively sacrificed at d 14, d 28, d 56, d 77, d 105 and d 112 after the rats received DENA by gavage, then the livers were harvested. One part of the livers was classified according to their pathological changes, while the other was reserved for molecular mechanism studies on hepatocarcinogenesis. The differentially expressed genes were isolated from both normal and morbid tissues by mRNA differential display technique (DDRT-PCR). After the fragments were sequenced, bioinformatics were .used to analyze the results. Results: Twelve differentially expressed cDNA fragments were obtained. Nine fragments had the homology with known cDNA clones, especially EST-7 was similar to BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene and the identity was 100% which suggested EST-7 may be the part of BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene. In contrast, other three fragments (EST-1, EST-3 and EST-5) had extremely low identity to any genes registered in GENBANK databases. Conclusions: BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene was expressed in different periods of hepatocarcinogenesis. Moreover, EST-I, EST-3 and EST-5 were suggested to contribute to the development of rat hepatocarcinogenesis, and thus may be candidates of new targets of oncogenes or cancer suppressor genes.展开更多
Based on the existing pivot rules,the simplex method for linear programming is not polynomial in the worst case.Therefore,the optimal pivot of the simplex method is crucial.In this paper,we propose the optimal rule to...Based on the existing pivot rules,the simplex method for linear programming is not polynomial in the worst case.Therefore,the optimal pivot of the simplex method is crucial.In this paper,we propose the optimal rule to find all the shortest pivot paths of the simplex method for linear programming problems based on Monte Carlo tree search.Specifically,we first propose the SimplexPseudoTree to transfer the simplex method into tree search mode while avoiding repeated basis variables.Secondly,we propose four reinforcement learning models with two actions and two rewards to make the Monte Carlo tree search suitable for the simplex method.Thirdly,we set a new action selection criterion to ameliorate the inaccurate evaluation in the initial exploration.It is proved that when the number of vertices in the feasible region is C_(n)^(m),our method can generate all the shortest pivot paths,which is the polynomial of the number of variables.In addition,we experimentally validate that the proposed schedule can avoid unnecessary search and provide the optimal pivot path.Furthermore,this method can provide the best pivot labels for all kinds of supervised learning methods to solve linear programming problems.展开更多
As an important part of phased array system,the research on phased array antenna is very necessary.The phased array antenna achieves the scanning beam adaptively by regulating the phase difference between each array e...As an important part of phased array system,the research on phased array antenna is very necessary.The phased array antenna achieves the scanning beam adaptively by regulating the phase difference between each array element.In this paper,a dual K-band circularly polarized antenna with high broadband,broadband beam,wide axial ratio bandwidth and high radiation efficiency is designed.We combine with the advantages of slot antenna and aperture antenna,use multimode waveguide cavity structure to design an aperture antenna,which is fed to waveguide circular polarizer by slot coupling in order to realize circular polarization radiation.Meanwhile,it has the characteristics of broadband,broadband beam,wide axial ratio bandwidth and high radiation efficiency.A slit antenna is designed by using a multimode waveguide cavity structure and a slit coupling feed to a waveguide circular polarizer is used to achieve circularly polarized radiation.The designed antenna consists of two K-band circularly polarized antenna units,and the spacing between the two units is 9.5 mm,which is fed by aK-band T/R module(Transmitter/Receiver module).In order to study the performance of the pattern in the case of the research group,the 2-unit structure is established.The simulation results of frequency–axial ratio bandwidth are given,and the simulation result of the antenna array is shown.The practical results of antenna design and test are also given.展开更多
Due to the rapid development in the petroleum industry,the leakage detection of crude oil transmission pipes has become an increasingly crucial issue.At present,oil plants at home and abroad mostly use manual inspecti...Due to the rapid development in the petroleum industry,the leakage detection of crude oil transmission pipes has become an increasingly crucial issue.At present,oil plants at home and abroad mostly use manual inspection method for detection.This traditional method is not only inefficient but also labor-intensive.The present paper proposes a novel convolutional neural network(CNN)architecture for automatic leakage level assessment of crude oil transmission pipes.An experimental setup is developed,where a visible camera and a thermal imaging camera are used to collect image data and analyze various leakage conditions.Specifically,images are collected from various pipes with no leaking and different leaking states.Apart from images from existing pipelines,images are collected from the experimental setup with different types of joints to simulate leakage conditions in the real world.The main contributions of the present paper are,developing a convolutional neural network to classify the information in red-green-blue(RGB)and thermal images,development of the experimental setup,conducting leakage experiments,and analyzing the data using the developed approach.By successfully combining the two types of images,the proposed method is able to achieve a higher classification accuracy,compared to other methods that use RGB images or thermal images alone.Especially,compared with the method that uses thermal images only,the accuracy increases from about 91%to over 96%.展开更多

Among the commonly used indicators of gas field development, we select 11 indicators from the three aspects of production task, gas reservoir management, and production technology. According to the principle of analytic network process (ANP), this paper introduced one kind of new method to get the weights of indicators. By means of the method of TOPSIS, it is easy to obtain the rankings for all the GPUs through calculating the weighted Euclidean distance between each GPU and the positive or negative ideal point. This evaluation method could constantly improve the management level of gas production units and deepen the delicacy management of gas field development.展开更多

However, the dynamic breakage mechanism of rice grain is unclear due to the lack of a reasonable breakage model. In this study, the uniaxial compression test and drop weight test of single rice were carried out, the breakage model of rice grain was constructed, the reliability of rice model was verified by the experiment and simulation results. The results showed that the fracture energy distribution of rice can be obtained by uniaxial compression test, the specific fracture energy of rice accords with a lognormal distribution, and the median specific fracture energy of rice is 479.75 J/kg. The damage accumulation coefficient and fragment size distribution of rice can be acquired by drop test, the result of damage accumulation coefficient of rice was 4.3. Rice grain breakage mainly occurs in the milling section of the vertical circulation rice mill.展开更多

We t...How tumor-associated macrophages transit from a predominant antitumor M1-like phenotype to a protumoral M2-like phenotype during the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) remains to be elucidated. We thus conducted a study by employing a PDA-macrophage co-culture system, an “orthotopic” PDA syngeneic mouse model, and human PDA specimens, together with macrophages derived from GARP knockout mice and multiple analytic tools including whole-genome RNA sequencing, DNA methylation arrays, multiplex immunohistochemistry, metabolism measurement, and invasion/metastasis assessment. Our study showed that PDA tumor cells, through direct cell–cell contact, induce DNA methylation and downregulation of a panel of glucose metabolism and OXPHOS genes selectively in M1-like macrophages, leading to a suppressed glucose metabolic status in M1-like but not in M2-like macrophages. Following the interaction with PDA tumor cells, M1-like macrophages are reprogrammed phenotypically to M2-like macrophages. The interaction between M1-like macrophages and PDA cells is mediated by GARP and integrin αV/β8, respectively. Blocking either GARP or integrin would suppress tumor-induced DNA methylation in Nqo-1 gene and the reprogramming of M1-like macrophages. Glucose-response genes such as Il-10 are subsequently activated in tumor-educated M1-like macrophages. Partly through Il-10 and its receptor Il-10R on tumor cells, M1-like macrophages functionally acquire a pro-cancerous capability. Both exogenous M1-like and M2-like macrophages promote metastasis in a mouse model of PDA while such a role of M1-like macrophages is dependent on DNA methylation. Our results suggest that PDA cells are able to reprogram M1-like macrophages metabolically and functionally through a GARP-dependent and DNA methylation-mediated mechanism to adopt a pro-cancerous fate.展开更多
CUDC-101,an effective and multi-target inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),histone deacetylase(HDAC),and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2),has been reported to inhibit many kinds of cancer...CUDC-101,an effective and multi-target inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),histone deacetylase(HDAC),and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2),has been reported to inhibit many kinds of cancers,such as acute promyelocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.However,no studies have yet investigated whether CUDC-101 is effective against myeloma.Herein,we proved that CUDC-101 effectively inhibits the proliferation of multiple myeloma(MM)cell lines and induces cell apoptosis in a time-and dose-dependent manner.Moreover,CUDC-101 markedly blocked the signaling pathway of EGFR/phosphoinositide-3-kinase(PI3K)and HDAC,and regulated the cell cycle G2/M arrest.Moreover,we revealed through in vivo experiment that CUDC-101 is a potent anti-myeloma drug.Bortezomib is one of the important drugs in MM treatment,and we investigated whether CUDC-101 has a synergistic or additive effect with bortezomib.The results showed that this drug combination had a synergistic anti-myeloma effect by inducing G2/M phase blockade.Collectively,our findings revealed that CUDC-101 could act on its own or in conjunction with bortezomib,which provides insights into exploring new strategies for MM treatment.展开更多
Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are ubiquitous organic pollutants affecting atmospheric environment and human health.The development of new efficient and environmentally friendly materials utilizing photothermal syner...Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are ubiquitous organic pollutants affecting atmospheric environment and human health.The development of new efficient and environmentally friendly materials utilizing photothermal synergistic catalysis for purification of VOCs is still challenging.Herein,we design and prepare a core–shell TiN@TiO_(2)nanostructure integrating with nanoscaled Pt(Pt/[TiN@TiO_(2)])by an attractive quenching method.The strong light-harvesting capability of Pt and TiN components improve light-to-heat utilization efficiency by their intrinsic surface plasmon resonance effect.The TiO_(2)component upon the surface and the coexisting coupling effect of Pt0 and Pt2+enhance the photocatalytic effect of the system.As a result,the catalytic performance is significantly improved with toluene(120 ppm)conversion of 100%under the gas hourly space velocity of 72,000 mL·g^(−1)·h^(−1)and light illumination of 500 mW·cm^(−2).The desired catalyst thus achieves highly efficient coupling effect of photocatalysis and light-to-heat conversion for promoting VOCs abatement.展开更多
