Pseudo four-component and regioselective synthesis of 4-amino-3,5-dicyano-6-arylphthalates using triethylamine catalyst

An efficient triethylamine-catalyzed synthesis of 4-amino-3,5-dicyano-6-arylphthalates is described.A one-pot,simple pseudo four-component reaction between arylaldehydes,dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates, and twice as much malononitrile gave 4-amino-3,5-dicyano-6-arylphthalates in good to excellent yields.

1-Methylimidazole-catalyzed reaction between tosylmethyl isocyanide and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates:An efficient synthesis of functionalized pyrroles

An efficient 1-methylimidazole-catalyzed synthesis of dialkyl 2-[（4-methylphenyl）sulfonyl]-1H-pyrrole-3,4-dicarboxylates is described.The reactive 1：1 zwitterionic intermediate formed by the addition of 1-methylimidazole to dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates is trapped by tosylmethyl isocyanide（TOSMIC） to afford the title compounds in excellent yields.

Microwave assisted one-pot tandem three-component synthesis of 2,4,5-triary1-2-4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one derivatives

This work described a one-pot tandem three-component synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-2,4-dihydro-3H- 1,2,4-triazol-3-ones using a simple reaction between phenylhydrazines, benzaldehydes and phenyl isocyanates under microwave irradiation and solvent-free conditions in good to excellent yields.
