Material composition and structural design are important factors influencing the electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance of materials. To alleviate the impedance mismatch attributed to the high dielectric constant of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene,we have successfully synthesized core‐shell structured SiO_(2)@MXene@MoS_(2)nanospheres.This architecture, comprising SiO_(2) as the core,MXene as the intermediate layer, and MoS_(2) as the outer shell,is achieved through an electrostatic self‐assembly method combined with a hydrothermal process. This complex core‐shell structure not only provides a variety of loss mechanisms that effectively dissipate electromagnetic energy but also prevents self‐aggregation of MXene and MoS_(2) nanosheets.Notably, the synergistic combination of SiO_(2) and MoS_(2) with highly conductive MXene enables the suitable dielectric constant of the composites, ensuring optimal impedance matching. Therefore, the core‐shell structured SiO_(2)@MXene@MoS_(2) nanospheres exhibit excellent EMW absorption performance, featuring a remarkable minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of−52.11 dB(2.4 mm).It is noteworthy that these nanospheres achieve an ultra‐wide effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 6.72 GHz.This work provides a novel approach for designing and synthesizing high‐performance EMW absorbers characterized by“wide bandwidth and strong reflection loss.” 展开更多

Precise control of the local environment and electronic state of the guest is an important method of controlling catalytic activity and reaction pathways. In this paper, guest Pd NPs were introduced into a series of host UiO-67 MOFs with different functional ligands and metal nodes, the microenvironment and local electronic structure of Pd is modulated by introducing bipyridine groups and changing metal nodes(Ce_(6)O_(6) or Zr_(6)O_(6)).The bipyridine groups not only promoted the dispersion Pd NPs,but also facilitated electron transfer between Pd and UiO-67 MOFs through the formation of Pd-N bridges.Compared with Zr6 clusters, the tunability and orbital hybridisation of the 4f electronic structure in the Ce_(6) clusters modulate the electronic structure of Pd through the construction of the Ce-O-Pd interfaces. The optimal catalyst Pd/UiO-67(Ce)-bpy presented excellent low-temperature activity towards dicyclopentadiene hydrogenation with a conversion of>99% and a selectivity of>99%(50℃,10 bar). The results show that the synergy of Ce-O-Pd and Pd-N promotes the formation of active Pd^(δ+),which not only enhances the adsorption of H_(2) and electron-rich C=C bonds, but also contributes to the reduction of proton migration distance and improves proton utilization efficiency. These results provide valuable insights for investigating the regulatory role of the host MOFs,the nature of host-guest interactions, and their correlation with catalytic performance. 展开更多

A kind of enhancing mechanism of structural whiteness dependence on amorphous photonic crystal (APC) structure is introduced in this paper. In the glaze system composed of albite, kaolin, talc, calcite, quartz, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, the APC structure will be produced by using quartz as a variable to induce the phase separation. Under different polarities between Ti, Zn etc. and Siion, the separated spheres with the core-shell structure can be obtained and then make up opal-like APCs in the glaze layer. In addition to inner and outer layers of core-shell spheres, the calculated results of refractive indices clearly show the great difference between the particles and the matrix. As a result of different refractive indices, the multiple scatting of visible light plays a key rote in the structural whiteness. However, due to the decrease of the cationic content, APCs with the reverse opal structure would be formed in the interface between glaze and body. Ultimately, the glaze appearance reveals extremely high structural whiteness due to the special APC structure. 展开更多

The hierarchical ZnO nanostructures with 2-fold symmetrical nanorod arrays on zinc aluminum carbonate (ZnAl-CO3) nanosheets have been successfully synthesized through a two-step hydrothermal process. The primary nanosheets, which serve as the lattice-matched substrate for the self-assembly nanorod arrays at the second-step of the hydrothermal route, have been synthesized by using a template of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO). The as-prepared samples were characterized by XRD, FESEM, TEM and SAED. The nanorods have a diameter of about 100 nm and a length of about 2μ m. A growth mechanism was proposed according to the experimental results. The gas sensor fabricated from ZnO nanorod arrays showed a high sensitivity to ethanol at 230℃. In addition, the response mechanism of the sensors has also been discussed according to the transient response of the gas sensors. 展开更多
