To assess its efficacy, the mass transfer characteri...The rotating packed bed (RPB) with split packing is a novel gas-liquid contactor, which intensifies the mass transfer processes controlled by gas-side resistance. To assess its efficacy, the mass transfer characteristics with adjacent rings in counter-rotation and co-rotation modes in a split packing RPB were studied experimentally. The physical absorption system NH3-H2O was used for characterizing the gas volumetric mass transfer coeffi- cient (kyae) and the effective inteffacial area (ae) was determined by chemical absorption in the CO2-NaOH sys- tem. The variation in kyae and ae with the operating conditions is also investigated. The experimental results indicated that kyae and ae for counter-rotation of the adjacent packing rings in the split packing RPB were higher than those for co-rotation, and both counter-rotation and co-rotation of the split packing RPB were superior over conventional RPBs under the similar ooerating conditions.展开更多
This paper presents a comprehensive technical overview of the Linac Coherent Light Source II(LCLS-II)photoinjector laser system,its first and foremost component.The LCLS-II photoinjector laser system serves as an upgr...This paper presents a comprehensive technical overview of the Linac Coherent Light Source II(LCLS-II)photoinjector laser system,its first and foremost component.The LCLS-II photoinjector laser system serves as an upgrade to the original LCLS at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory.This advanced laser system generates high-quality laser beams for the LCLS-II,contributing to the instrument's unprecedented brightness,precision and flexibility.Our discussion extends to the various subsystems that comprise the photoinjector,including the photocathode laser,laser heater and beam transport systems.Lastly,we draw attention to the ongoing research and development infrastructure underway to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the LCLS-II,and similar X-ray free-electron laser facilities around the world,thereby contributing to the future of laser technology and its applications.展开更多
Objective: To report the clinical effect of traditional acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of neurogenic bladder.Methods: A single case of a 57-year-old female with neurogenic bladder retention of urine co...Objective: To report the clinical effect of traditional acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of neurogenic bladder.Methods: A single case of a 57-year-old female with neurogenic bladder retention of urine considering governor vessel in the use of acupuncture and moxibustion. Acupoints selected: Shenshū(肾俞BL 23),Pángguāngshū(膀胧俞 BL 28). Yāoyángguan(腰阳关GV 3), Mìngmén(命门 GV 4). Moxibustion was applied on Guānyuán(关元 CV4) at the same time.Results: After 6 times of treatment, the patient’s urination function return to normal, avoid the adverse effect of retention catheterization.Conclusion: It is suggested that the combination of acupuncture and moxibustion, and the integration of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation can effectively treat retention of urine due to neurogenic bladder of patient with diabetes.展开更多
With the rapid development of building technology,transparent envelope is more and more widely used,which makes the indoor environment of buildings more and more affected by solar radiation.However,the effects of sola...With the rapid development of building technology,transparent envelope is more and more widely used,which makes the indoor environment of buildings more and more affected by solar radiation.However,the effects of solar radiation are not included in the PMV model.The Corrected Predicted Mean Vote(CPMV)model considering solar radiation was previously proposed and verified in northern China.In order to expand the applicability of the CPMV model to the hot summer and cold winter(HSCW)zone of southern China,a field study was conducted in an office building in Nanjing.A total of 686 valid questionnaires were recovered during the surveys in two summers in 2019 and 2020.The results show that the evaluation value of CPMV is highly consistent with the actual thermal sensation vote(TSV)when the corrected operative temperature is below 30℃.However,when the corrected operative temperature is above 30℃,the CPMV value is higher than TSV,because it underestimates the tolerance of human body to the hot environment in Nanjing.The thermal neutral temperature is 26.12℃(CPMV)and 26.28℃(TSV)respectively,which is higher than that in winter and summer in northern China.This study fills the blank in the application of CPMV model in southern China.The CPMV model can accurately evaluate the thermal comfort of indoor environment affected by solar radiation,which is worthy of promotion and application to other types of buildings and areas.展开更多
