Wetting front migration model of ion-adsorption rare earth during the multi-hole unsaturated liquid injection

In the process of ion-adsorption rare earth ore leaching,the migration characteristics of the wetting front in multi-hole injection holes and the influence of wetting front intersection effect on the migration distance of wetting fronts are still unclear.Besides,wetting front migration distance and leaching time are usually required to optimize the leaching process.In this study,wetting front migration tests of ionadsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole fluid injection(the spacing between injection holes was 10 cm,12 cm and 14 cm)and single-hole fluid injection were completed under the constant water head height.At the pre-intersection stage,the wetting front migration laws of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole fluid injection and single-hole fluid injection were identical.At the postintersection stage,the intersection accelerated the wetting front migration.By using the Darcy’s law,the intersection effect of wetting fronts during the multi-hole liquid injection was transformed into the water head height directly above the intersection.Finally,based on the Green-Ampt model,a wetting front migration model of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole unsaturated liquid injection was established.Error analysis results showed that the proposed model can accurately simulate the infiltration process under experimental conditions.The research results enrich the infiltration law and theory of ion-adsorption rare earth ores during the multi-hole liquid injection,and this study provides a scientific basis for optimizing the liquid injection well pattern parameters of ion-adsorption rare earth in situ leaching in the future. 展开更多

In situ luminescence measurements of GaN/Al_(2)O_(3) film under different energy proton irradiations

Ion beam-induced luminescence(IBIL) experiments were performed to investigate the in situ luminescence of GaN/Al_(2)O_(3) at varying ion energies,which allowed for the measurement of defects at different depths within the material.The energies of H^(+)were set to 500 keV,640 keV and 2 MeV,the Bragg peaks of which correspond to the GaN film,GaN/Al_(2)O_(3) heterojunction and Al_(2)O_(3) substrate,respectively.A photoluminescence measurement at 250 K was also performed for comparison,during which only near band edge(NBE) and yellow band luminescence in the GaN film were observed.The evolution of the luminescence of the NBE and yellow band in the GaN film was discussed,and both exhibited a decrease with the fluence of H^(+).Additionally,the luminescence of F centers,induced by oxygen vacancies,and Cr^(3+),resulting from the ^(2)E →^(4)A_(2) radiative transition in Al_(2)O_(3),were measured using 2 MeV H^(+).The luminescence intensity of F centers increases gradually with the fluence of H^(+).The luminescence evolution of Cr^(3+)is consistent with a yellow band center,attributed to its weak intensity,and it is situated within the emission band of the yellow band in the GaN film.Our results show that IBIL measurement can effectively detect the luminescence behavior of multilayer films by adjusting the ion energy.Luminescence measurement can be excited by various techniques,but IBIL can satisfy in situ luminescence measurement,and multilayer structural materials of tens of micrometers can be measured through IBIL by adjusting the energy of the inducing ions.The evolution of defects at different layers with ion fluence can be obtained. 展开更多

Objective The aim of the article is to explore the function of circBAGE2(hsa_circ_0061259)in prostate cancer(PCa)cells.Methods Sequencing results of circBAGE2 were verified by quantitative RT PCR(qRT-PCR)and Sanger sequencing.Agarose gel electrophoresis was used to detect the resistance of GAPDH,BAGE2,and circBAGE2 to RNase R and their expression as cDNA and gDNAin 22RV1 cells.The biological functions of circBAGE2 were investigated by CCK8 assay and flow cytometry in 22RV1 cells transfected with siRNAs.Multiple databases were used to predict the target binding sites between circRNAs,miRNAs,and mRNAs.Western blotting was used to detect the expression of CCND1 and PDCD10.Results CircBAGE2 was significantly upregulated in PCa samples and PCa cells compared to that in matched normal tissues and normal cells,and CircBAGE2 knockdown inhibits cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis.Downregulation of circBAGE2 compromised the expression of CCND1 and PDCD10.The 3’UTRs of CCND1 and PDCD10 were matched by miR-103a-3p,which shared binding sites with circBAGE2.Conclusion CircBAGE2 contributes to PCa progression by upregulating CCND1 and PDCD10 expression through its role as a‘sponge’of miR-103a-3p.CircBAGE2 may be a potential therapeutic target for PCa. 展开更多

To better understand waterlogging effect on leaf senescence in winter rapseed (Brassica napus L.) during flowering stage, experiments were designed to explore foliar K application influences on adverse effects of waterlogging stress. Winter rapeseed was sprayed with K after waterlogging at initial flowering stage. Results indicated that waterlogging significantly decreased leaf net photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) and transpiration rate (Tr). It also declined maximum quantum yield of PS II (Fv/Fm), quantum yield of electron transport (ΦPS II) and photochemical quenching (qP), but increased leaf non-photochemical quenching (NPQ) and minimal fluorescence (Fo). Interestingly, exogenous application of K significantly alleviated waterlogging-induced photosynthesis inhibition. Foliar K application increased RuBisCO activation, chlorophyll and soluble protein contents, while significantly decreased MDA content under waterlogging stress. Moreover, K supplementation improved accumulation of K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, N, Zn2+, Mn2+, Fe2+ in leaves. In general, foliar K application is effective inalleviating deleterious effects of waterlogging stress and delays leaf senescence of winter rapeseed. 展开更多

Extraction of a protective coal seam (PVCS)-below or above a coal seam to be mined with the potential of coal andgas outburst risk-plays an important role not only in decreasing the stress field in the surrounding rock mass but alsoin increasing the gas desorption capacity and gas flow permeability in the protected coal seam (PTCS). The PVCSis mined to guarantee the safe mining of the PTCS. This study has numerically evaluated the stress redistributioneffects using FLAC3D model for a longwall face in Shanxi Province. The effects of mining depth, mining height andinter-burden rock mass properties were evaluated using the stress relief angle and stress relief coefficient. Verticalstress distribution, stress relief angle and stress relief coefficient in the PTCS were analyzed as the face advancedin the PVCS. The results showed that the stress relief achieved in different locations of the PTCS varied as the faceadvanced. Sensitivity analyses on the pertinent variables indicate that the stress relief in the PTCS is affected mostby the mining depth followed by the inter-burden lithology and the mining height. Furthermore, the elastic moduliof different layers within the inter-burden rock mass are more important than their uniaxial compressive strength(UCS) and Poisson’s ratio. These observations can guide gas drainage borehole design to minimize the accidentsof coal and gas outbursts. 展开更多

Recent experimental data for anomalous magnetic moments strongly indicates the existence of new physics beyond the Standard Model.Energetic μ^(+) bunches are relevant to μ^(+) rare decay,spin rotation,resonance and relaxation(μSR)technology,future muon colliders,and neutrino factories.In this paper,we propose prompt μ^(+) acceleration in a nonlinear toroidal wakefield driven by a shaped steep-rising-front Laguerre–Gaussian(LG)laser pulse.An analytical model is described,which shows that a μ^(+) beam can be focused by an electron cylinder at the centerline of a toroidal bubble and accelerated by the front part of the longitudinal wakefield.A shaped LG laser with a short rise time can push plasma electrons,generating a higher-density electron sheath at the front of the bubble,which can enhance the acceleration field.The acceleration field driven by the shaped steep-rising-front LG laser pulse is about four times greater than that driven by a normal LG laser pulse.Our simulation results show that a 300 MeV μ^(+) bunch can be accelerated to 2 GeV and its transverse size is focused from an initial value of w_(0)=5μm to w=2μm in the toroidal bubble driven by the shaped steep-rising-front LG laser pulse with a normalized amplitude of a=22. 展开更多

Long developmental stage and late harvest time of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) have great negative effects on rice planting of rice-rapeseed farming system in China. Early maturity improvement of rapeseed is necessary. ‘Zhongshuang 11’, an elite winter rapeseed cultivar, was used in consecutive field experiments during 2010-2012. At initial flowering stage, plants were consecutively sprayed with 0.1 mg/L 2-4-Epibrassinolide(BR) for 3 d. Two hundred sampling pods from different plants were randomly collected to measure seed related indexes with a 4 d interval from 7 to 47 d after peak anthesis (DAPA).Seed color turned light brown at 31 or 35 DAPA after BR treatment, seed dry weight (DWT)was increased while seed moisture content (SMC) was decreased during seed development.DWT almost reached the maximum value when SMC was 33.20% at 31 DAPA in 2010-2011 and 35.29% at 35 DAPA in 2011-2012 growing season after BR treatment. Similarly,the maximum values of standard germination test (SGT), accelerated aging test (AAT)and cold test (CT) were observed at 31 or 35 DAPA after BR treatment respectively. The high yield and seed oil content appeared at 31 or 35 DAPA accompanied with rapid decrease in total non-structural carbohydrate (TNC) in stems and leaves. Our study indicated that BR application advanced maturity of winter rapeseed by 4 to 8 days. 展开更多

Graphene reinforced magnesium matrix composites have wide applications in automotive,electronics,aerospace and military fields due to the fascinating mechanical properties.However,it is difficult to realize the high strength and ductility simultaneously.In this work,the in situ liquid-state method was utilized to prepare GNPs/Mg6Zn composites via CO_(2)/Mg chemical reaction.Tensile strength of the GNPs/Mg6Zn composites was improved with increasing content of the GNPs.Meantime,the composites also exhibit a notable plastic deformation stage,and especially the ductility of 0.12 GNPs/Mg6Zn composites reaches 27.6%.Therefore,this novel preparation method has great potential application for fabricating Mg matrix composites with high strength and high ductility. 展开更多

Senile plaque blue autofluorescence was discovered around 40 years ago,however,its impact on Alzheimer’s disease(AD)pathology has not been fully examined.We analyzed senile plaques with immunohistochemistry and fluorescence imaging on AD brain sections and also Aβ aggregation in vitro.In DAPI or Hoechst staining,the nuclear blue fluorescence could only be correctly assigned after subtracting the blue plaque autofluorescence.The flower-like structures wrapping dense-core blue fluorescence formed by cathepsin D staining could not be considered central-nucleated neurons with defective lysosomes since there was no nuclear staining in the plaque core when the blue autofluorescence was subtracted.Both Aβ self-oligomers and Aβ/hemoglobin heterocomplexes generated blue autofluorescence.The Aβ amyloid blue autofluorescence not only labels senile plaques but also illustrates red cell aggregation,hemolysis,cerebral amyloid angiopathy,vascular plaques,vascular adhesions,and microaneurysms.In summary,we conclude that Aβ-aggregation-generated blue autofluorescence is an excellent multi-amyloidosis marker in Alzheimer’s disease. 展开更多

Ca-type todorokite catalysts were designed and prepared by a simple redox method and applied to the selective reduction of NO_(x) by NH_(3)(NH_(3)-SCR)for the first time.Compared with the Na-type manjiroite prepared by the same method,the todorokite catalysts with different Mn/Ca ratios showed greatly improved catalytic activity for NO_(x) reduction.Among them,Mn8Ca4 catalyst exhibited the best NH_(3)-SCR performance,achieving 90%NO_(x) conversion within temperature range of 70-275℃ and having a high sulphur resistance.Compared to the Na-type manjiroite sample,Ca-type todorokite catalysts possessed an increased size of tunnel,resulting in a larger specific surface area.As increased the amounts of Ca doping,the Na content in Ca-type todorokite catalysts significantly decreased,providing larger amounts of Bronsted acid sites for NH_(3) adsorption to produce NH_(4)^(+).The NH_(4)^(+)species were highly active for reaction with NO+O_(2),playing a determining role in NH_(3)-SCR process at low temperatures.Meanwhile,larger amounts of surface adsorbed oxygen contained over the Ca-doping samples than that over Na-type manjiroite,promoting the oxidation of NO and fast SCR processes.Over the Ca-type todorokite catalysts,furthermore,nitrates produced during the flow of NO+O_(2),were more active for reaction with NH_(3) than that over Na-type manjiroite,benefiting the occurrence of NH_(3)-SCR process.This study provides novel insights into the design of NH_(3)-SCR catalysts with high performance. 展开更多

The elimination of pollutants from diesel exhaust has received widespread research attention as they cause serious air pollution and pose a threat to human health.Catalytic post-treatment technology is one of the most effective and universal technologies to treat diesel exhaust pollutants.The design and development of efficient and low-cost catalysts is the key factor to realize the wide application of catalytic post-treatment technology.Cerium(Ce)-based oxides with specific morphologies are widely used to eliminate pollutants in diesel vehicle exhaust due to their unique physical and chemical properties,such as high catalytic activity,low cost and non-toxicity.In this review,the preparation methods of Cebased oxide materials with specific morphologies,such as nanoparticles,nanocubes,nanorods,nanofibers,and multi-stage pores,are introduced in detail,and the research progress on using these catalysts for the removal of carbon monoxide,hydrocarbons,soot particles,nitrogen oxides,and other pollutants from diesel exhaust is reviewed in detail.Finally,the unresolved issues associated with using Ce-based oxide catalysts with a specific morphology to catalytically remove pollutants from diesel exhaust are highlighted,and future application prospects and development directions are discussed. 展开更多

Background:Atopic dermatitis(AD)affects approximately 10%of adults worldwide.CM310 is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting interleukin-4 receptor alpha that blocks interleukin-4 and interleukin-13 signaling.This trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CM310 in Chinese adults with moderate-to-severe AD.Methods:This multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled,phase 2b trial was conducted in 21 medical institutions in China from February to November 2021.Totally 120 eligible patients were enrolled and randomized(1:1:1)to receive subcutaneous injections of 300 mg CM310,150 mg CM310,or placebo every 2 weeks for 16 weeks,followed by an 8-week follow-up period.The primary endpoint was the proportion of patients achieving≥75%improvement in the Eczema Area and Severity Index(EASI-75)score from baseline at week 16.Safety and pharmacodynamics were also studied.Results:At week 16,the proportion of EASI-75 responders from baseline was significantly higher in the CM310 groups(70%[28/40]for high-dose and 65%[26/40]for low-dose)than that in the placebo group(20%[8/40]).The differences in EASI-75 response rate were 50%(high vs.placebo,95%CI 31%-69%)and 45%(low vs.placebo,95%CI 26%-64%),with both P values<0.0001.CM310 at both doses also significantly improved the EASI score,Investigator’s Global Assessment score,daily peak pruritus Numerical Rating Scale,AD-affected body surface area,and Dermatology Life Quality Index compared with placebo.CM310 treatment reduced levels of thymus and activation-regulated chemokine,total immunoglobulin E,lactate dehydrogenase,and blood eosinophils.The incidence of treatment-emergent adverse events(TEAEs)was similar among all three groups,with the most common TEAEs reported being upper respiratory tract infection,atopic dermatitis,hyperlipidemia,and hyperuricemia.No severe adverse events were deemed to be attributed to CM310.Conclusion:CM310 at 150 mg and 300 mg every 2 weeks demonstrated significant efficacy and was well-tolerated in adults with moderate-to-severe AD.Trial Registration:ClinicalTrials.gov,NCT04805411. 展开更多

The complete and incomplete fusion cross section as well as one-neutron stripping process of ^(6)Li+^(94)Zr system were measured at the energies around the Coulomb barrier by onlineγ-ray method.In addition to a 30%suppression factor when compared with the measured total fusion process,the complete fusion cross section in ^(6)Li+^(94)Zr system was observed to be significantly lower than those in the nearby ^(6)Li+^(90,96)Zr system.The new experimental result implies that the coupling with breakup channel in the ^(6)Li-induced fusion processes can be affected by the inner structure of the target,which is still not clear in any available model calculation.For the one-neutron stripping process,the direct production cross sections for each level in 95Zr were extracted and compared with the coupled reaction channel calculation,offering a unique opportunity to examine the single-particle nature of the produced excited states.Given the fact that an overall overestimation of the production cross section for 954-keV and1618-keV levels was observed in the comparison,further investigation is highly demanded in order to understand the full reaction mechanism for the one-neutron stripping process induced by ^(6)Li. 展开更多

The performance of catalysts used in after-treatment systems is the key factor for the removal of diesel soot,which is an important component of atmosphericfine particle emissions.Herein,three-dimensionally ordered macroporous–mesoporous Ti_(x)Si+(1-x)O_(2)(3DOM-m Ti_(x)Si+(1-x)O_(2)) and its supported MnO_(x)catalysts doped with different alkali/alkaline-earth metals (AMnO_(x)/3 DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)(A:Li,Na,K,Ru,Cs,Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba)) were prepared by mesoporous template (P123)-assisted colloidal crystal template (CCT) and incipient wetness impregnation methods,respectively.Physicochemical characterizations of the catalysts were performed using scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,N_(2)adsorption–desorption,H_(2)temperature-programmed reduction,O_(2)temperature-programmed desorption,NO temperature-programmed oxidation,and Raman spectroscopy techniques;then,we evaluated their catalytic performances for the removal of diesel soot particles.The results show that the 3DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)supports exhibited a well-defined 3DOM-m nanostructure,and AMnO_(x)nanoparticles with 10–50 nm were evenly dispersed on the inner walls of the uniform macropores.In addition,the as-prepared catalysts exhibited good catalytic performance for soot combustion.Among the prepared catalysts,CsMnO_(x)/3DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)had the highest catalytic activity for soot combustion,with T10,T50,and T90(the temperatures corresponding to soot conversion rates of 10%,50%,and 90%) values of 285,355,and 393℃,respectively.The high catalytic activity of the CsMnO_(x)/3 DOM-m Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)catalysts was attributed to their excellent low-temperature reducibility and homogeneous macroporous–mesoporous structure,as well as to the synergistic effects between Cs and Mn species and between CsMnO_(x)and the Ti_(0.7)Si_(0.3)O_(2)support. 展开更多

Air pollution from particulate matter produced by incomplete combustion of diesel fuel has become a serious environmental pollution problem,which can be addressed by catalytic combustion.In this work,a series of K-modified MnO_(δ)catalysts with different microstructures were synthesized by the hydrothermal method,the relationship between structure of the catalysts and their catalytic performance for soot combustion was studied by characterization techniques and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.Results showed that the prepared catalysts had good catalytic performance for soot combustion and could completely oxidize soot at temperatures below 400℃.The cryptomelane-type K_(2−x)Mn_(8)O_(16)(K-OMS-2)with tunnel structure had excellent NO oxidation capacity and abundance of Mn^(4+)ions(Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+)=1.24)with good redox ability,it demonstrated better soot combustion performance than layered birnessite-type K_(2)Mn_(4)O_(8)(K-OL-1).The T_(10),T_(50),T_(90)temperatures of KOMS-2 were 269,314,346℃,respectively.The K-OMS-2 catalyst also showed excellent stability after five catalytic cycles,with T_(10),T_(50),T_(90)values holding in the ranges of 270±2,316±2,348±3℃,respectively. 展开更多
