Methods A cross-sectional study wa...Objective To evaluate the usefulness of the thyroglobulin (Tg) level in adults as a nutritiona biomarker of iodine status and to identify the factors related to the serum Tg level. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted in adult populations of areas differing in iodine nutrition from three provinces (Autonomous Region) in China. Serum levels of thyroid hormones and Tg as well as thyroid autoantibodies were measured. The thyroid volume and nodule were measured by ultrasound. A multivariate linear regression analysis was used to assess iodine intake and other indeterminate factors associated with the serum Tg level. Results A total of 573 adults were recruited for this study. The serum Tg levels differed significantly among the three groups (22.27 ~g/L, 9.73 pg/L and 15.77 pg/L in the excess, more-than-adequate, and deficient groups, respectively). The results of multivariate linear regression analysis indicate that excess and deficient iodine intake, goiter, thyroid nodule, hypothyroidism are significantly related with higher Tg level, and TgAb positivity is significantly related with lower serum Tg. Conclusion The serum Tg level reflects abnormal thyroid function and is a sensitive functiona biomarker of iodine nutrition status.展开更多

In order to detect the crack on conductive component,the pulsed eddy current thermography models were built according to different materials with the cracks based on finite element method(FEM) simulation. The influence of the induction heating temperature distribution with the different defect depths were simulated for the carbon fiber reinforced plastic(CFRP) materials and general metal materials. The grey value of image sequence was extracted to analyze its relationship with the depth of crack. Simulative and experimental results show that in the carbon fiber reinforced composite materials,the bigger depth of the crack is,the larger temperature rise of the crack during the heating phase is; and the bigger depth of the crack is,the faster the cooling rate of the crack during the cooling phase is. In general metal materials,the smaller depth of the crack is,the lager temperature rise of the crack during the heating phase is; and the smaller depth of the crack is,the faster the cooling rate of crack during the cooling phase is.展开更多

The results have shown th at, in tests ① and ② , Rx is droppedby 14 MPa approximately with the surface roughness being decreased from 0. 75 μm to 0. 55 μm . While in 44 MPa with the surface roughness being decreased from 0 . 75 μm to 0. 55 μm . Compared to tests ① and ② , the effect of the surface roughnesson residual stress results is more significant in tests ③ and ④ , and the reduction effect of surface roughness on residual stress measurement is enhanced. In engineering application, most components are already in different stress states. Therefore, the influence on residual stress m easurem ent can not be ignored. Residual stress of a 2219-T87 A1 alloy plate was m easured. With the confidence level of 0. 95 , the confidence interval is [-122.515,-113.8849] MPa.展开更多
