Application Effect of External Diaphragm Pacemaker Combined with Active Respiratory Circulation Technology in Pulmonary Rehabilitation of Perioperative Lung Cancer Patients

Aim: To explore the application effect of external diaphragm pacemaker combined with active respiratory circulation technology in pulmonary rehabilitation of perioperative lung cancer patients. Methods: A total of 98 lung cancer patients admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to November 2021 were selected as the observation objects, and then divided into a control group and an observation group using the random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The control group received routine admission guidance and active respiratory circulation training, while the observation group was supplemented with external diaphragm pacemaker on the basis of the control group. The intervention effect was evaluated by blood gas indicators, pulmonary function indicators, diaphragm function indicators, sputum comfort degree, and activity tolerance indicators before and after intervention. Results: Before intervention, there were no significant differences in blood gas analysis indicators, pulmonary function indicators, diaphragm function indicators, sputum comfort degree, and activity tolerance indicators between the two groups (P > 0.05). After intervention, the improvement degree of the above indicators in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The application of external diaphragm pacemaker combined with active respiratory circulation technology in pulmonary rehabilitation of perioperative lung cancer patients is significant, which can effectively improve the pulmonary function, blood gas function, and diaphragm function of lung cancer patients after surgery, and improve the activities of daily living and quality of life of patients. 展开更多

Objective: To explore the nursing effect of evidence-based PDCA cycle management mode in accelerated rehabilitation of patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery. Methods: 104 patients who underwent thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery in our hospital from June 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 52 cases in each group. The control group implemented evidence-based ERAS clinical pathway management, while the intervention group implemented evidence-based PDCA cycle quality management. The postoperative recovery of the two groups of patients was compared. Results: The postoperative recovery of the intervention group was significantly better than that of the control group. The first time to get out of bed, the first time to eat, the duration of chest drainage tube placement, and the length of hospital stay were significantly shorter than those of the control group. The incidence of postoperative chest complications and hospitalization costs were significantly lower than those of the control group, and patient satisfaction was significantly higher than that of the control group (P Conclusion: Evidence-based PDCA cycle quality management mode can effectively improve the implementation quality of accelerated rehabilitation nursing for patients undergoing thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery, and it is worthy of clinical promotion. 展开更多

Orbital Angular Momentum(OAM)waves are characterized by helical wave fronts and orthogonality between different modes.Therefore,OAM waves have huge potential in improving wireless communications'channel capacity and radar imaging's resolution.Consequently,the generation and application of OAM waves have attracted a lot of attention.And many methods are proposed to generate OAM waves.Although antenna array is the most popular method of generating OAM waves,OAM waves generated by antenna array have redundant modes.However,all advantages of OAM waves are closely related to infinite OAM modes.Thus,to better apply OAM waves to wireless communications and radar,it is very important to reduce unnecessary OAM modes and improve the OAM mode purity.In order to improve the OAM mode purity,two combined antenna arrays composed of X direction antenna and Y direction antenna array are proposed in this paper.The X direction antenna array and the Y direction antenna array are supplied by the excitations with the same amplitude and fixed phase shift.The overall phase shift of the X direction antenna array isπ/2 more or less than that of the Y direction antenna array.The results of formulas and antenna models in CST show that the combined antenna arrays can generate OAM waves with less redundant modes in x component,y component and z component.Besides,the z component carries pure OAM modes. 展开更多

Objective:Celastrol is a pentacyclic triterpenoid extracted from the traditional Chinese medicinal herb,Tripterygium wilfordii.This study aims to provide a scientific basis for the rational development and use of celastrol in breast cancer.Method:A quantitative chemical biology approach was used to investigate the protein targets and molecular mechanisms of celastrol in breast cancer cells.Results:Low-concentration celastrol exerted an anti-tumor effect by directly binding to hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase-like 2(HSDL2)and inhibiting its expression.Moreover,the expression of the pro-apoptotic protein,Bcl-2-associated X(BaX),increased,the level of the anti-apoptotic protein,B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2),decreased,and the rate of apoptosis increased.After the transfection of cells with si-HSDL2,the apoptosis rate was similar to that observed after the administration of celastrol.However,apoptosis was reversed by the overexpression of HSDL2.Furthermore,our mass spectrometry(MS)data indicated a relationship between HSDL2 and the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway.We also found that the expression of HSDL2 was directly related to the degree of extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)phosphorylation.Conclusion:Celastrol may promote apoptosis by suppressing the HSDL2/MAPK/ERK signaling pathway. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the occurrence levels of endocrine disruptors(EDCs)in rural areas around a county landfill in Tongren City.[Methods]The water around the landfill was sampled and analyzed.A solid-phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(SPE-UPLC-MS/MS)method was established for the determination of 27 EDCs.After the HLB solid-phase extraction column was activated,a water sample,which was adjusted with phosphoric acid to a pH of 2(±0.5)and added with 500 mg of disodium EDTA,was loaded,and 5 ml of water and 20%methanol water was added for washing.Next,10 ml of elution solution was added for elution,and the collected eluate was evaporated under reduced pressure at 40℃to near dryness,and 1 ml of reconstitution solution was added to a constant volume.An ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18(100×2.1 mm,2.6μm)chromatographic column was adopted for LC separation by gradient elution with pure water solution-acetonitrile as the mobile phase.For MS detection,the MRM mode was adopted for collection,and the positive and negative ion modes were switched for simultaneous determination,and the internal standard method was used for quantification.[Results]The correlation coefficient R2 was greater than 0.99 in the linear range of each target substance.The limits of quantitation in the method were between 0.05 and 2.00 ng/L,and the recoveries ranged from 75.3%to 105.7%.[Conclusions]The method has high sensitivity,good accuracy and strong practical value. 展开更多

The limits of detection ranged from 0.15 to 3.00 ng/L, and the limits of quantitation were between 0.80 and 10.00 ng/L, and the recoveries ranged from 77.9% to 104.85%. Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide,and oxidative stress plays a crucial role.Celastrol exhibits strong antioxidant properties in several diseases;however,whether it can affect oxidation in cerebral ischemic-reperfusion injury(CIRI)remains unclear.This study aimed to determine whether celastrol could reduce oxidative damage during CIRI and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms.Here,we found that celastrol attenuated oxidative injury in CIRI by upregulating nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2).Using alkynyl-tagged celastrol and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry,we showed that celastrol directly bound to neuronally expressed developmentally downregulated 4(Nedd4)and then released Nrf2 from Nedd4 in astrocytes.Nedd4 promoted the degradation of Nrf2 through K48-linked ubiquitination and thus contributed to astrocytic reactive oxygen species production in CIRI,which was significantly blocked by celastrol.Furthermore,by inhibiting oxidative stress and astrocyte activation,celastrol effectively rescued neurons from axon damage and apoptosis.Our study uncovered Nedd4 as a direct target of celastrol,and that celastrol exerts an antioxidative effect on astrocytes by inhibiting the interaction between Nedd4 and Nrf2 and reducing Nrf2 degradation in CIRI. 展开更多

Influence of mineral species on oil-soil interfacial interaction in petroleum-contaminated soils

The mineral species in soils vary in a wide variety of places,thus resulting in the petroleumcontaminated soil(PCS)with complex characters.Thus,the research on the effect of mineral species on oil-soil interactions in PCS takes on a critical significance.In this study,the desorption and adsorption behaviors of aromatic hydrocarbons(Ar)on two minerals surfaces were examined.Meanwhile,the interfacial forces between minerals and Ar were studied and the sources of these forces were analyzed.Moreover,molecular dynamics(MD)simulations were conducted to gain insight into the interfacial interaction mechanisms.As revealed by the results of this study,in comparison with Qs-Ar(quartz sand,Qs),Mnt-Ar(montmorillonite,Mnt)contaminants required higher temperature and activation energies for thermal desorption(201.95 kJ·mol^(-1)vs.127.82 kJ·mol^(-1))The above difference was generated since the adhesive forces between Ar and Mnt surfaces were greater than those between Ar and Qs.As indicated by the analysis of the adhesion force sources,the van der Waals forces were responsible for facilitating oil adhesion to mineral surfaces,even though the electrostatic force prevented oil-mineral adhesion.Furthermore,the hydrophobic forces facilitated adhesion in 3 nm.The MD results demonstrated that compared with the Qs system,there existed larger binding energies between Ar and Mnt,a lower diffusion coefficient for Ar on the Mnt surface,as well as more significant adsorption of Ar on Mnt.In general,the different mineral species affect the strength of the interaction at the oil-soil interface,which is a guideline for proposing targeted oil-soil separation measures. 展开更多

DNA topoisomerases are essential nuclear enzymes in correcting topological DNA errors and maintaining DNA integrity.Topoisomerase inhibitors are a significant class of cancer chemotherapeutics with a definite curative effect.Natural products are a rich source of lead compounds for drug discovery,including anti-tumor drugs.In this study,we found that narciclasine(NCS),an amaryllidaceae alkaloid,is a novel inhibitor of topoisomerase I(topo I).Our data demonstrated that NCS inhibited topo I activity and reversed its unwinding effect on p-HOT DNA substrate.However,it had no obvious effect on topo II activity.The molecular mechanism of NCS inhibited topo I showed that NCS did not stabilize topo-DNA covalent complexes in cells,indicating that NCS is not a topo I poison.A blind docking result showed that NCS could bind to topo I,suggesting that NCS might be a topo I suppressor.Additionally,NCS exhibited a potent anti-proliferation effect in various cancer cells.NCS arrested the cell cycle at G_(2)/M phase and induced cell apoptosis.Our study reveals the antitumor mechanisms of NCS and provides a good foundation for the development of anti-cancer drugs based on topo I inhibition. 展开更多

Methods: From May 2019 to May 2021, 290 esophageal cancer patients and their main relatives were selected by convenience sampling method in a Grade III a cancer hospital in Guangzhou;the general data questionnaire and the Chinese version of the scale of care ability of relatives’ caregivers were used. Results: The total average score of caring ability of the main relatives’ caregivers after esophageal cancer operation was (32.99 ± 3.01). Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the age of the caregiver, the length of stay, the family income per capita and the experience of caring were the influencing factors. Conclusion: The caring ability of the main relatives of the patients with esophageal cancer after operation is moderate and low. The medical staff should improve the caring ability of the caregivers and take effective measures according to different influencing factors to improve the psychological state of the caregivers. 展开更多

Objective: To screen and analyze key express sequence tags (ESTs) which were differentially displayed in every period of SD rats' primary hepatic carcinoma and reveal the molecular mechanism of carcinogenesis. Methods: Using diethylnitrosamine (DENA) as a cancerigenic agent, animal models with different phases of primary hepatic cancer were constructed in SD rats. Rats were respectively sacrificed at d 14, d 28, d 56, d 77, d 105 and d 112 after the rats received DENA by gavage, then the livers were harvested. One part of the livers was classified according to their pathological changes, while the other was reserved for molecular mechanism studies on hepatocarcinogenesis. The differentially expressed genes were isolated from both normal and morbid tissues by mRNA differential display technique (DDRT-PCR). After the fragments were sequenced, bioinformatics were .used to analyze the results. Results: Twelve differentially expressed cDNA fragments were obtained. Nine fragments had the homology with known cDNA clones, especially EST-7 was similar to BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene and the identity was 100% which suggested EST-7 may be the part of BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene. In contrast, other three fragments (EST-1, EST-3 and EST-5) had extremely low identity to any genes registered in GENBANK databases. Conclusions: BN/SsNHsdMCW mitochondrion gene was expressed in different periods of hepatocarcinogenesis. Moreover, EST-I, EST-3 and EST-5 were suggested to contribute to the development of rat hepatocarcinogenesis, and thus may be candidates of new targets of oncogenes or cancer suppressor genes. 展开更多

Hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)are essential drivers of fibrogenesis.Inducing activated-HSC apoptosis is a promising strategy for treating hepatic fibrosis.18beta-glycyrrhetinic acid(18b-GA)is a natural compound that exists widely in herbal medicines,such as Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch,which is used for treating multiple liver diseases,especially in Asia.In the present study,we demonstrated that 18b-GA decreased hepatic fibrosis by inducing the apoptosis in activated HSCs.18b-GA inhibited the expression of a-smooth muscle actin and collagen type Ⅰ alpha-1.Using a chemoproteomic approach derived from activity-based protein profiling,together with cellular thermal shift assay and surface plasmon resonance,we found that 18b-GA covalently targeted peroxiredoxin 1(PRDX1)and peroxiredoxin 2(PRDX2)proteins via binding to active cysteine residues and thereby inhibited their enzymatic activities.18b-GA induced the elevation of reactive oxygen species(ROS),resulting in the apoptosis of activated HSCs.PRDX1 knockdown also led to ROS-mediated apoptosis in activated HSCs.Collectively,our findings revealed the target proteins and molecular mechanisms of 18b-GA in ameliorating hepatic fibrosis,highlighting the future development of 18b-GA as a novel therapeutic drug for hepatic fibrosis. 展开更多

The objective of this study was to develop a novel hybrid genipin-crosslinked dual-sensitive hydrogel/nanostructured lipid carrier(NLC) drug delivery platform. An ophthalmic antiinflammatory drug, baicalin(BN) was chosen as the model drug. BN –NLC was prepared using melt-emulsification combined with ultra-sonication technique. Additionally, a dual pH-and thermo-sensitive hydrogel composed of carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCS) and poloxamer 407(F127) was fabricated by a cross-linking reaction with a nontoxic crosslinker genipin(GP). GP-CMCS/F127 hydrogel was characterized by FTIR, NMR, XRD and SEM. The swelling studies showed GP-CMCS/F127 hydrogel was both pH-and thermo-sensitive. The results of in vitro release suggested BN –NLC gel can prolong the release of baicalin comparing with BN eye drops and BN –NLC. Ex vivo cornea permeation study was evaluated using Franz diffusion cells. The apparent permeability coefficient(Papp) of BN –NLC gel was much higher(4.46-fold) than that of BN eye drops. Through the determination of corneal hydration levels, BN –NLC gel was confirmed that had no significant irritation to cornea. Ex vivo precorneal retention experiments were carried out by a flow-through approach. The results indicated that the NLC-based hydrogel can prolong precorneal residence time. In conclusion, the hybrid NLCbased hydrogel has a promising potential for application in ocular drug delivery. 展开更多

Developing high power and energy supercapacitors(SCs)is a long-pursued goal for the application in transportation and energy storage station.Herein,a rationally-designed Co-doped nickel oxide nanosheets@carbon-welded carbon nanotube foam(Co-doped NiO@WCNTF)as freestanding electrode is successfully prepared for high power and energy SCs.The WCNTF framework with high specific surface area provides three dimensional highly conductive network for fast charge transport and ensures high loading of active materials(9.2 mg/cm2).Moreover,porous Co-doped NiO nanosheets uniformly anchored on the WCNTF framework enable rapid charge kinetics due to the high intrinsic conductivity of Co-doped Ni O nanosheets and their good contact with conductive WCNTF substrate.As a result,the unique integrated electrode with 3D architecture exhibits an ultrahigh specific capacitance of 11.45 F/cm2 at 5 mA/cm2,outstanding rate capability(11.45 F/cm2 at 5 mA/cm2 and a capacitance retention of 86.2%at 30 mA/cm2)and good cycling stability,suggesting great potential for high performance supercapacitor. 展开更多
