Objective:By data mining,to analyze the characteristics of Professor Han Fei’s medication in the treatment of children with epilepsy,to explore the rules of medication,in order to provide reference for clinical treat...Objective:By data mining,to analyze the characteristics of Professor Han Fei’s medication in the treatment of children with epilepsy,to explore the rules of medication,in order to provide reference for clinical treatment of children with epilepsy by Chinese medicine.Methods:From January 2008 to March 2021,we collected the diagnosis and treatment data of the children with epilepsy who were treated by Professor Han Fei in the outpatient department of Guang’Anmen Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.Using the software of IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 and IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0,the characteristics and rules of Professor Hanfei’s Chinese materia medica used were summarized through the descriptive analysis,correlation analysis and cluster analysis of drug cumulative frequency,drug flavor,drug channel tropism and efficacy.Results:A total of 224 cases were included in this study,excluding 1 case with other neurological disorders.Finally,223 prescriptions were included,involving 176 kinds of Chinese materia medica and the total medication frequency was 4712.The first 10 highfrequency Chinese materia medica were Chaihu(95.52%),Bombyx batryticatus(94.17%),keels(83.41%),oysters(72.65%),earthworm(72.20%),fructus aurantii(66.37%),Scorpion(64.57%),Gastrodia elata(60.99%),Acorus gramineus(59.19%)and Dannan Xing(58.30%).The main Chinese materia medica used were mainly for suppressing hyperactive liver for calming endogenous wind,relieving exterior syndromes and tranquillizing mind.The medicine properties were mainly to be flat,slight cold,pungent,bitter and willing,and they were mainly for liver,lung and heart meridian tropism.Correlation Analysis:Bupleurum chinense,Bombyx batryticatus,Dragon Bone,oyster as its core medicine group,Semen Ziziphi spinosae and semen platycladi are effective strong correlation medicine pair.Three medicine combinations were obtained by cluster analysis.Conclusion:Hanshi has the characteristics of“calming liver,tranquilizing mind,calming endogenous wind,removing the phlegm and extravasated blood”in treating epilepsy.展开更多
Direct regeneration method has been widely concerned by researchers in the field of battery recycling because of its advantages of in situ regeneration,short process and less pollutant emission.In this review,we first...Direct regeneration method has been widely concerned by researchers in the field of battery recycling because of its advantages of in situ regeneration,short process and less pollutant emission.In this review,we firstly analyze the primary causes for the failure of three representative battery cathodes(lithium iron phosphate,layered lithium transition metal oxide and lithium cobalt oxide),targeting at illustrating their underlying regeneration mecha-nism and applicability.Efficient stripping of material from the collector to obtain pure cathode material has become a first challenge in recycling,for which we report several pretreatment methods currently available for subsequent regeneration processes.We review and discuss emphatically the research progress of five direct regeneration methods,including solid-state sintering,hydrothermal,eutectic molten salt,electrochemical and chemical lithiation methods.Finally,the application of direct regeneration technology in production practice is introduced,the problems exposed at the early stage of the industrialization of direct regeneration technol-ogy are revealed,and the prospect of future large-scale commercial production is proposed.It is hoped that this review will give readers a comprehensive and basic understanding of direct regeneration methods for used lithium-ion batteries and promote the industrial application of direct regeneration technology.展开更多

Objective:To summarize the characteristics and evaluate the quality of the methodology and evidence within systematic reviews(SRs)of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)for Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)inchildren.Metho...Objective:To summarize the characteristics and evaluate the quality of the methodology and evidence within systematic reviews(SRs)of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)for Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)inchildren.Methods:SRs of randomized controlled trials were searched using PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Databases(CNKI),the Chinese Scientific Journals Database(VIP),Wanfang,and the SinoMed Database.SRs on the use of CHM alone or in combination with Western medications for MPP in children were included.The study compared the effects of Western medicine alone with those of CHM.The evidence quality using the A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews(AMSTAR)2,the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)2020,and the Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)criteria.The primary indicators were the total effective rate,fever subsidence time,and cough disappearance time.The secondary outcomes were pulmonary rale disappearance time,average hospitalization time,lung X-ray infiltrate disappearance time,immunological indices,and inflammatory cytokine levels.Results:Twelve relevant SRs were included;75%(9/12)were assessed as very low quality,and 25%(3/12)Were rated as low quality using the AMSTAR 2 criteria.According to the PRISMA 2020 checklist,the average SR score was 20.3 out of a 27 point maximum.In all SRs,CHM demonstrated improvement in symptoms and signs among children with MPP.The evidence quality using the GRADE criteria ranged from"very low"(>50%)to"moderate"(<5%).The most common downgrading factor was imprecision,followed by publication bias and inconsistency.Conclusion:This overview highlights the limited quality of the methodology and evidence of the included SRs.Although the included studies showed the beneficial effects of CHM on MPP in children,it was difficult to draw firm conclusions owing to methodological flaws.展开更多
[Objectives]To optimize the formulation and preparation of oregano oil microspheres by Box-Behnken response surface methodology.[Methods]Chitosan was used as the carrier material to prepare oregano oil microspheres by...[Objectives]To optimize the formulation and preparation of oregano oil microspheres by Box-Behnken response surface methodology.[Methods]Chitosan was used as the carrier material to prepare oregano oil microspheres by emulsion crosslinking method.The encapsulation efficiency,drug loading and ID 50 were used as the evaluation indicators,and the comprehensive score(OD)obtained by"coefficient of variation-AHP comprehensive weighting method"was used as the final evaluation indicator.The formulation design and preparation process were optimized by single factor experiment and Box-Behnken response surface methodology,and the optimal process parameters were determined.[Results]The optimal formulation and preparation process parameters of oregano oil microspheres were as follows:the ratio of oregano oil to chitosan was 2∶1,the emulsifying speed of double emulsion was 200 r/min,the amount of emulsifier in the colostrum was 4%,and the volume of curing agent was 1.0 mL.The average encapsulation efficiency was 45.33%±1.32%,the average drug loading was 30.59%±2.45%,and the median diameter(ID 50)was 52.596μm±0.023%.[Conclusions]The encapsulation efficiency,drug loading and ID 50 of oregano oil chitosan microspheres prepared by emulsion crosslinking method met the requirements.The drug-loaded microsphere not only can be used as a preparation finished product for direct application,but also be used as a product intermediate to lay a foundation for the research and development of subsequent dosage forms.展开更多

Icariin has been shown to enhance erectile function through its bioactive form, icarisid Ih This study investigates the effects of icarisid Ⅱ on diabetic rats with ED and its potential mechanism viathe assessment of advanced glycosylation end products (AGEs), autophagy, mTOR and the NO-cGMP pathway. Icarisid Ⅱ was extracted from icariin by an enzymatic method. In the control and diabetic ED groups, rats were administered normal saline; in the icarisid Ⅱ group, rats were administered icarisid Ⅱ intragastrically. Erectile function was evaluated by measuring intracavernosal pressure/mean arterial pressure (ICP/MAP). AGE concentrations, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity and cGMP concentration were assessed by enzyme immunoassay. Cell proliferation was analysed using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assay and flow cytometry. Autophagosomes were observed by transmission electron microscopy, monodansylcadaverine staining and GFP-LC3 Iocalisation. The expression of NOS isoforms and key proteins in autophagy were examined by western blot. Our results have shown that Icarisid Ⅱ increased ICP/MAP values, the smooth muscle cell (SMC) growth curve, S phase and SMC/collagen fibril (SMC/CF) proportions and decreased Beclin 1 (P〈0.05). Icarisid Ⅱ significantly increased the proliferative index and p-p70S6K(Thr389) levels and decreased the numbers of autophagosomes and the levels of LC3-11 (P〈0.01). Icarisid Ⅱ decreased AGE concentrations and increased cGMP concentration, NOS activity (P〈0.05) and cNOS levels (P〈0.01) in the diabetic ED group. Therefore, Icarisid Ⅱ constitutes a promising compound for diabetic ED and might be involved in the upregulation of SMC proliferation and the NO-cGMP pathway and the downregulation of AGEs, autophagy and the mTOR pathway.展开更多

Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. The experimental measurement and theoretical calculation not only provide a facile strategy to construct flower-like mesoporous architectures with massive oxygen vacancies, but also demonstrate that NCO-Ar is an ideal electrode material for the next generation of energy storage devices.展开更多

Silver nanoclusters(AgNCs)are a new type of nanomaterials with similar properties to molecules and unique applications.The applications of AgNCs can be significantly expanded by combining them with different matrix ma...Silver nanoclusters(AgNCs)are a new type of nanomaterials with similar properties to molecules and unique applications.The applications of AgNCs can be significantly expanded by combining them with different matrix materials to obtain AgNC composites.Using irradiation techniques,we developed a simple two-step method for preparing silver nanocluster composites.First,polyacrylic acid(PAA)chains were grafted onto the surface of a PE film as templates(PE-g-PAA).Subsequently,silver ions were reduced in situ on the surface of the template material to obtain the AgNC composites(AgNCs@PE-g-PAA).The degree of AgNC loading on the composite film was easily controlled by adjusting the reaction conditions.The loaded AgNCs were anchored to the carboxyl groups of the PAA and wrapped in the graft chain.The particle size of the AgNCs was only 4.38±0.85 nm,with a very uniform particle size distribution.The AgNCs@PE-g-PAA exhibited fluorescence characteristics derived from the AgNCs.The fluorescence of the AgNCs@PE-g-PAA was easily quenched by Cr^(3+)ions.The composite can be used as a fluorescence test paper to realize visual detection of Cr^(3+).展开更多
In this study,we propose the first unified implementation strategy for peridynamics in commercial finite element method(FEM)software packages based on their application programming interface using the peridynamics-bas...In this study,we propose the first unified implementation strategy for peridynamics in commercial finite element method(FEM)software packages based on their application programming interface using the peridynamics-based finite element method(PeriFEM).Using ANSYS and ABAQUS as examples,we present the numerical results and implementation details of PeriFEM in commercial FEM software.PeriFEM is a reformulation of the traditional FEM for solving peridynamic equations numerically.It is considered that the non-local features of peridynamics yet possesses the same computational framework as the traditional FEM.Therefore,this implementation benefits from the consistent computational frameworks of both PeriFEM and the traditional FEM.An implicit algorithm is used for both ANSYS and ABAQUS;however,different convergence criteria are adopted owing to their unique features.In ANSYS,APDL enables users to conveniently obtain broken-bond information from UPFs;thus,the convergence criterion is chosen as no new broken bond.In ABAQUS,obtaining broken-bond information is not convenient for users;thus,the default convergence criterion is used in ABAQUS.The codes integrated into ANSYS and ABAQUS are both verified through benchmark examples,and the computational convergence and costs are compared.The results show that,for some specific examples,ABAQUS is more efficient,whereas the convergence criterion adopted in ANSYS is more robust.Finally,3D examples are presented to demonstrate the ability of the proposed approach to deal with complex engineering problems.展开更多
As a non-apoptotic cell death form,ferroptosis offers an alternative approach to overcome cancer chemotherapy resistance.However,accumulating evidence indicates cancer cells can develop ferroptosis resistance by evolv...As a non-apoptotic cell death form,ferroptosis offers an alternative approach to overcome cancer chemotherapy resistance.However,accumulating evidence indicates cancer cells can develop ferroptosis resistance by evolving antioxidative defense mechanisms.To address this issue,we prepared a Buthionine-(S,R)-sulfoximine(BSO)loaded metal organic framework(MOF)of BSO-MOF-HA(BMH)with the combination effect of boosting oxidative damage and inhibiting antioxidative defense.MOF nanoparticle was constructed by the photosensitizer of[4,4,4,4-(porphine-5,10,15,20-tetrayl)tetrakis(benzoic acid)](TCPP)and the metal ion of Zr6,which was further decorated with hyaluronic acid(HA)in order to impart active targeting to CD44 receptors overexpressed cancer cells.BMH exhibited a negative charge and spherical shape with average particle size about 162.5nm.BMH was found to restore the susceptibility of 4T1 cells to ferroptosis under irradiation.This was attributed to the combination of photodynamic therapy(PDT)andγ-glutamylcysteine synthetase inhibitor of BSO,shifting the redox balance to oxidative stress.Enhanced ferroptosis also induced the release of damage associated molecular patterns(DAMPs)to maturate dendritic cells and activated T lymphocytes,leading to superior anti-tumor performance in vivo.Taken together,our findings demonstrated that boosting oxidative damage with photosensitizer serves as an effective strategy to reverse ferroptosis resistance.展开更多
With the growing threat of airborne epidemics,there has been an increasing emphasis on personal protection.Masks serve as our primary external defense against bacteria and viruses that might enter the respiratory trac...With the growing threat of airborne epidemics,there has been an increasing emphasis on personal protection.Masks serve as our primary external defense against bacteria and viruses that might enter the respiratory tract.Hence,it’s crucial to develop a polypropylene(PP)nonwoven fabric with quick antibacterial capabilities as a key component for masks.This study introduces silver nanoclusters(AgNCs)into non-woven PP using radiation technology to infuse antibacterial properties.Initially,a solid ligand(PP-g-PAA)was procured via radiation grafting of the ligand polyacrylic acid(PAA),which was incorporated into the nonwoven PP with the aid of a crosslinking agent at a lower absorbed dosage.Subsequently,AgNCs were synthesized in situ on PP-g-PAA via an interaction between PAA and AgNCs,leading directly to the formation of AgNCs@PP-g-PAA composites.Owing to the hydrophilicity of PAA,AgNCs@PP-g-PAA maintains good moisture permeability even when the voids are heavily saturated with PAA gel,preventing droplet aggregation by diffusing droplets on the surface of the material.This feature enhances the comfort of the masks.Most importantly,due to the incorporation of AgNCs,AgNCs@PP-g-PAA demonstrates outstanding antibacterial effects against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus,nearly achieving an instant“touch and kill”outcome.In conclusion,we synthesized a modified nonwoven fabric with significant antibacterial activity using a simple synthetic route,offering a promising material that provides improved personal protection.展开更多
AIM:To analyze the global scientific output concerning myopic traction maculopathy(MTM)and to summarize the research frontiers and hot topics of MTM related researches.METHODS:Data were collected for bibliometric and ...AIM:To analyze the global scientific output concerning myopic traction maculopathy(MTM)and to summarize the research frontiers and hot topics of MTM related researches.METHODS:Data were collected for bibliometric and visualization analyses from Web of Science(WOS)Core Collection.Exported records were analyzed for titles,publication years,research institutions,journal names,authors,keywords,and abstracts using CiteSpace software version 6.1.RESULTS:A total of 839 related studies were analyzed,the publication volume increased annually,with Asia the most active region of MTM research.Optical coherence tomography angiography,optical coherence tomography,macular hole,high myopia,macular buckling were identified as the focus of the current research.Progression,association,classification and shape were identified as the major research frontiers.CONCLUSION:MTM is a major cause of visual loss in pathological myopic eyes.During the preceding 17y,the number of annual publications in MTM research increased gradually.Studies on the progression nature of MTM,genome-wide association study and proper classification of MTM might still be the frontiers of MTM researches.展开更多

文摘Direct regeneration method has been widely concerned by researchers in the field of battery recycling because of its advantages of in situ regeneration,short process and less pollutant emission.In this review,we firstly analyze the primary causes for the failure of three representative battery cathodes(lithium iron phosphate,layered lithium transition metal oxide and lithium cobalt oxide),targeting at illustrating their underlying regeneration mecha-nism and applicability.Efficient stripping of material from the collector to obtain pure cathode material has become a first challenge in recycling,for which we report several pretreatment methods currently available for subsequent regeneration processes.We review and discuss emphatically the research progress of five direct regeneration methods,including solid-state sintering,hydrothermal,eutectic molten salt,electrochemical and chemical lithiation methods.Finally,the application of direct regeneration technology in production practice is introduced,the problems exposed at the early stage of the industrialization of direct regeneration technol-ogy are revealed,and the prospect of future large-scale commercial production is proposed.It is hoped that this review will give readers a comprehensive and basic understanding of direct regeneration methods for used lithium-ion batteries and promote the industrial application of direct regeneration technology.

文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)and chronic kidney disease(CKD)are significant public health issues associated with a long-term increase in mortality risk,resulting from various etiologies including renal ischemia,sepsis,drug toxicity,and diabetes mellitus.Numerous preclinical models have been developed to deepen our understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms and therapeutic approaches for kidney diseases.Among these,rodent models have proven to be powerful tools in the discovery of novel therapeutics,while the development of kidney organoids has emerged as a promising advancement in the field.This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the construction methodologies,underlying biological mechanisms,and recent therapeutic developments across different AKI and CKD models.Additionally,this review summarizes the advantages,limitations,and challenges inherent in these preclinical models,thereby contributing robust evidence to support the development of effective therapeutic strategies.

文摘Objective:To summarize the characteristics and evaluate the quality of the methodology and evidence within systematic reviews(SRs)of Chinese herbal medicine(CHM)for Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)inchildren.Methods:SRs of randomized controlled trials were searched using PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase,the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Databases(CNKI),the Chinese Scientific Journals Database(VIP),Wanfang,and the SinoMed Database.SRs on the use of CHM alone or in combination with Western medications for MPP in children were included.The study compared the effects of Western medicine alone with those of CHM.The evidence quality using the A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews(AMSTAR)2,the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)2020,and the Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development,and Evaluation(GRADE)criteria.The primary indicators were the total effective rate,fever subsidence time,and cough disappearance time.The secondary outcomes were pulmonary rale disappearance time,average hospitalization time,lung X-ray infiltrate disappearance time,immunological indices,and inflammatory cytokine levels.Results:Twelve relevant SRs were included;75%(9/12)were assessed as very low quality,and 25%(3/12)Were rated as low quality using the AMSTAR 2 criteria.According to the PRISMA 2020 checklist,the average SR score was 20.3 out of a 27 point maximum.In all SRs,CHM demonstrated improvement in symptoms and signs among children with MPP.The evidence quality using the GRADE criteria ranged from"very low"(>50%)to"moderate"(<5%).The most common downgrading factor was imprecision,followed by publication bias and inconsistency.Conclusion:This overview highlights the limited quality of the methodology and evidence of the included SRs.Although the included studies showed the beneficial effects of CHM on MPP in children,it was difficult to draw firm conclusions owing to methodological flaws.

文摘[Objectives]To optimize the formulation and preparation of oregano oil microspheres by Box-Behnken response surface methodology.[Methods]Chitosan was used as the carrier material to prepare oregano oil microspheres by emulsion crosslinking method.The encapsulation efficiency,drug loading and ID 50 were used as the evaluation indicators,and the comprehensive score(OD)obtained by"coefficient of variation-AHP comprehensive weighting method"was used as the final evaluation indicator.The formulation design and preparation process were optimized by single factor experiment and Box-Behnken response surface methodology,and the optimal process parameters were determined.[Results]The optimal formulation and preparation process parameters of oregano oil microspheres were as follows:the ratio of oregano oil to chitosan was 2∶1,the emulsifying speed of double emulsion was 200 r/min,the amount of emulsifier in the colostrum was 4%,and the volume of curing agent was 1.0 mL.The average encapsulation efficiency was 45.33%±1.32%,the average drug loading was 30.59%±2.45%,and the median diameter(ID 50)was 52.596μm±0.023%.[Conclusions]The encapsulation efficiency,drug loading and ID 50 of oregano oil chitosan microspheres prepared by emulsion crosslinking method met the requirements.The drug-loaded microsphere not only can be used as a preparation finished product for direct application,but also be used as a product intermediate to lay a foundation for the research and development of subsequent dosage forms.
文摘Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a major complication of diabetes mellitus. Icariin has been shown to enhance erectile function through its bioactive form, icarisid Ih This study investigates the effects of icarisid Ⅱ on diabetic rats with ED and its potential mechanism viathe assessment of advanced glycosylation end products (AGEs), autophagy, mTOR and the NO-cGMP pathway. Icarisid Ⅱ was extracted from icariin by an enzymatic method. In the control and diabetic ED groups, rats were administered normal saline; in the icarisid Ⅱ group, rats were administered icarisid Ⅱ intragastrically. Erectile function was evaluated by measuring intracavernosal pressure/mean arterial pressure (ICP/MAP). AGE concentrations, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) activity and cGMP concentration were assessed by enzyme immunoassay. Cell proliferation was analysed using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assay and flow cytometry. Autophagosomes were observed by transmission electron microscopy, monodansylcadaverine staining and GFP-LC3 Iocalisation. The expression of NOS isoforms and key proteins in autophagy were examined by western blot. Our results have shown that Icarisid Ⅱ increased ICP/MAP values, the smooth muscle cell (SMC) growth curve, S phase and SMC/collagen fibril (SMC/CF) proportions and decreased Beclin 1 (P〈0.05). Icarisid Ⅱ significantly increased the proliferative index and p-p70S6K(Thr389) levels and decreased the numbers of autophagosomes and the levels of LC3-11 (P〈0.01). Icarisid Ⅱ decreased AGE concentrations and increased cGMP concentration, NOS activity (P〈0.05) and cNOS levels (P〈0.01) in the diabetic ED group. Therefore, Icarisid Ⅱ constitutes a promising compound for diabetic ED and might be involved in the upregulation of SMC proliferation and the NO-cGMP pathway and the downregulation of AGEs, autophagy and the mTOR pathway.

文摘A modified mixed strengthening model was proposed for describing the yield strength of particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites.The strengthening mechanisms of the composites were analyzed based on the microstructures and compression mechanical properties.The distribution uniformity of reinforcements and cooperation relationship among dislocation mechanisms were considered in the modified mixed strengthening model by introducing a distribution uniformity factor u and a cooperation coefficient fc,respectively.The results show that the modified mixed strengthening model can accurately describe the yield strengths of Al3Ti/2024Al composites with a relative deviation less than1.2%,which is much more accurate than other strengthening models.The modified mixed model can also be used to predict the yield strength of Al3Ti/2024Al composites with different fractions of reinforcements.

文摘Classical continuum mechanics which leads to a local continuum model,encounters challenges when the discontinuity appears,while peridynamics that falls into the category of nonlocal continuum mechanics suffers from a high computational cost.A hybrid model coupling classical continuum mechanics with peridynamics can avoid both disadvantages.This paper describes the hybrid model and its adaptive coupling approach which dynamically updates the coupling domains according to crack propagations for brittle materials.Then this hybrid local/nonlocal continuum model is applied to fracture simulation.Some numerical examples like a plate with a hole,Brazilian disk,notched plate and beam,are performed for verification and validation.In addition,a peridynamic software is introduced,which was recently developed for the simulation of the hybrid local/nonlocal continuum model.

文摘The rational design of oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of electrode materials for energy storage devices still remains a challenge. Herein, we synthesize nickel cobalt-based oxides nanoflower arrays assembled with nanowires grown on Ni foam via the hydrothermal process followed annealing process in air and argon atmospheres respectively. It is found that the annealing atmosphere has a vital influence on the oxygen vacancies and electronic microstructures of resulting NiCo_(2)O_(4) (NCO-Air) and CoNiO_(2) (NCO-Ar) products, which NCO-Ar has more oxygen vacancies and larger specific surface area of 163.48 m^(2)/g. The density functional theory calculation reveals that more oxygen vacancies can provide more electrons to adsorb –OH free anions resulting in superior electrochemical energy storage performance. Therefore, the assembled asymmetric supercapacitor of NCO-Ar//active carbon delivers an excellent energy density of 112.52 Wh/kg at a power density of 558.73 W/kg and the fabricated NCO-Ar//Zn battery presents the specific capacity of 180.20 mAh/g and energy density of 308.14 Wh/kg. The experimental measurement and theoretical calculation not only provide a facile strategy to construct flower-like mesoporous architectures with massive oxygen vacancies, but also demonstrate that NCO-Ar is an ideal electrode material for the next generation of energy storage devices.

文摘BACKGROUND Light-induced retinal damage is a serious vision-threatening disease,resulting from unsuitable laser irradiation,high-power light and sustaining light exposure.Therefore,effectively evaluate the morphological and functional of retinal damage is urgently needed.Now,we mainly reported three patients suffered from typical light irradiations.CASE SUMMARY Patient 1 suffered from old laser pointer irradiation and followed with amblyopia treatment.Patient 2 suffered from acute high-energy light irradiation.Patient 3suffered from sustaining optical fiber irradiation.Detailed morphological and functional examinations of the retina revealed that the lesions of the three patients had many similar characteristics,such as macular morphological changes,patent pattern visual monitoring amplitude or peak time abnormalities,multi-fucus electroretinograms macular central amplitude density decreased.CONCLUSION In conclusion,light-induced retinopathy has many common features,which can help clinical medical staff to diagnose retinal photodamage diseases.

文摘This paper proposes a hybrid peridynamic and classical continuum mechanical model for the high-temperature damage and fracture analysis of concrete structures.In this model,we introduce the thermal expansion into peridynamics and then couple it with the thermoelasticity based on the Morphing method.In addition,a thermomechanical constitutive model of peridynamic bond is presented inspired by the classic Mazars model for the quasi-brittle damage evolution of concrete structures under high-temperature conditions.The validity and effectiveness of the proposed model are verified through two-dimensional numerical examples,in which the influence of temperature on the damage behavior of concrete structures is investigated.Furthermore,the thermal effects on the fracture path of concrete structures are analyzed by numerical results.

文摘Silver nanoclusters(AgNCs)are a new type of nanomaterials with similar properties to molecules and unique applications.The applications of AgNCs can be significantly expanded by combining them with different matrix materials to obtain AgNC composites.Using irradiation techniques,we developed a simple two-step method for preparing silver nanocluster composites.First,polyacrylic acid(PAA)chains were grafted onto the surface of a PE film as templates(PE-g-PAA).Subsequently,silver ions were reduced in situ on the surface of the template material to obtain the AgNC composites(AgNCs@PE-g-PAA).The degree of AgNC loading on the composite film was easily controlled by adjusting the reaction conditions.The loaded AgNCs were anchored to the carboxyl groups of the PAA and wrapped in the graft chain.The particle size of the AgNCs was only 4.38±0.85 nm,with a very uniform particle size distribution.The AgNCs@PE-g-PAA exhibited fluorescence characteristics derived from the AgNCs.The fluorescence of the AgNCs@PE-g-PAA was easily quenched by Cr^(3+)ions.The composite can be used as a fluorescence test paper to realize visual detection of Cr^(3+).

文摘In this study,we propose the first unified implementation strategy for peridynamics in commercial finite element method(FEM)software packages based on their application programming interface using the peridynamics-based finite element method(PeriFEM).Using ANSYS and ABAQUS as examples,we present the numerical results and implementation details of PeriFEM in commercial FEM software.PeriFEM is a reformulation of the traditional FEM for solving peridynamic equations numerically.It is considered that the non-local features of peridynamics yet possesses the same computational framework as the traditional FEM.Therefore,this implementation benefits from the consistent computational frameworks of both PeriFEM and the traditional FEM.An implicit algorithm is used for both ANSYS and ABAQUS;however,different convergence criteria are adopted owing to their unique features.In ANSYS,APDL enables users to conveniently obtain broken-bond information from UPFs;thus,the convergence criterion is chosen as no new broken bond.In ABAQUS,obtaining broken-bond information is not convenient for users;thus,the default convergence criterion is used in ABAQUS.The codes integrated into ANSYS and ABAQUS are both verified through benchmark examples,and the computational convergence and costs are compared.The results show that,for some specific examples,ABAQUS is more efficient,whereas the convergence criterion adopted in ANSYS is more robust.Finally,3D examples are presented to demonstrate the ability of the proposed approach to deal with complex engineering problems.
文摘As a non-apoptotic cell death form,ferroptosis offers an alternative approach to overcome cancer chemotherapy resistance.However,accumulating evidence indicates cancer cells can develop ferroptosis resistance by evolving antioxidative defense mechanisms.To address this issue,we prepared a Buthionine-(S,R)-sulfoximine(BSO)loaded metal organic framework(MOF)of BSO-MOF-HA(BMH)with the combination effect of boosting oxidative damage and inhibiting antioxidative defense.MOF nanoparticle was constructed by the photosensitizer of[4,4,4,4-(porphine-5,10,15,20-tetrayl)tetrakis(benzoic acid)](TCPP)and the metal ion of Zr6,which was further decorated with hyaluronic acid(HA)in order to impart active targeting to CD44 receptors overexpressed cancer cells.BMH exhibited a negative charge and spherical shape with average particle size about 162.5nm.BMH was found to restore the susceptibility of 4T1 cells to ferroptosis under irradiation.This was attributed to the combination of photodynamic therapy(PDT)andγ-glutamylcysteine synthetase inhibitor of BSO,shifting the redox balance to oxidative stress.Enhanced ferroptosis also induced the release of damage associated molecular patterns(DAMPs)to maturate dendritic cells and activated T lymphocytes,leading to superior anti-tumor performance in vivo.Taken together,our findings demonstrated that boosting oxidative damage with photosensitizer serves as an effective strategy to reverse ferroptosis resistance.
文摘With the growing threat of airborne epidemics,there has been an increasing emphasis on personal protection.Masks serve as our primary external defense against bacteria and viruses that might enter the respiratory tract.Hence,it’s crucial to develop a polypropylene(PP)nonwoven fabric with quick antibacterial capabilities as a key component for masks.This study introduces silver nanoclusters(AgNCs)into non-woven PP using radiation technology to infuse antibacterial properties.Initially,a solid ligand(PP-g-PAA)was procured via radiation grafting of the ligand polyacrylic acid(PAA),which was incorporated into the nonwoven PP with the aid of a crosslinking agent at a lower absorbed dosage.Subsequently,AgNCs were synthesized in situ on PP-g-PAA via an interaction between PAA and AgNCs,leading directly to the formation of AgNCs@PP-g-PAA composites.Owing to the hydrophilicity of PAA,AgNCs@PP-g-PAA maintains good moisture permeability even when the voids are heavily saturated with PAA gel,preventing droplet aggregation by diffusing droplets on the surface of the material.This feature enhances the comfort of the masks.Most importantly,due to the incorporation of AgNCs,AgNCs@PP-g-PAA demonstrates outstanding antibacterial effects against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus,nearly achieving an instant“touch and kill”outcome.In conclusion,we synthesized a modified nonwoven fabric with significant antibacterial activity using a simple synthetic route,offering a promising material that provides improved personal protection.

文摘AIM:To analyze the global scientific output concerning myopic traction maculopathy(MTM)and to summarize the research frontiers and hot topics of MTM related researches.METHODS:Data were collected for bibliometric and visualization analyses from Web of Science(WOS)Core Collection.Exported records were analyzed for titles,publication years,research institutions,journal names,authors,keywords,and abstracts using CiteSpace software version 6.1.RESULTS:A total of 839 related studies were analyzed,the publication volume increased annually,with Asia the most active region of MTM research.Optical coherence tomography angiography,optical coherence tomography,macular hole,high myopia,macular buckling were identified as the focus of the current research.Progression,association,classification and shape were identified as the major research frontiers.CONCLUSION:MTM is a major cause of visual loss in pathological myopic eyes.During the preceding 17y,the number of annual publications in MTM research increased gradually.Studies on the progression nature of MTM,genome-wide association study and proper classification of MTM might still be the frontiers of MTM researches.
