We propose a sorting method which classifies these incomparable solutions into several ordered classes by using the decision maker's( DM) preference information.This is accomplished by designing an interactive evolutionary algorithm and constructing convex cones. This method allows the DMs to drive the search process toward a preferred region of the Pareto optimal front. The performance of the proposed algorithm is assessed for two,three,and four-objective knapsack problems. The results demonstrate the algorithm ' s ability to converge to the most preferred point. The evaluation and comparison of the results indicate that the proposed approach gives better solutions than that of NSGA-II. In addition,the approach is more efficient compared to NSGA-II in terms of the number of generations required to reach the preferred point.展开更多
Due to a rapid increase in the number of functionally equivalent web services at open and dynamic Io T service environment,Qo S has become a major discrimination factor to reflect the user's expectation and experi...Due to a rapid increase in the number of functionally equivalent web services at open and dynamic Io T service environment,Qo S has become a major discrimination factor to reflect the user's expectation and experience of using a service.There are different languages and models for expressing Qo S advertisements and requirements among service providers and consumers.Therefore,it leads to the issues of semantic interoperability of Qo S information and semantic similarity match between a semantic description of the service being requested by the service consumer,and a formal description of the service being offered by the service provider.In this paper,we propose a hierarchical two-layer semantic Qo S ontology to promote the description and declaration of Qo S-based service information in detail for any domain and application.And,we develop a semantic matchmaking algorithm to compare the web services according to their Qo S information and adopt analytical hierarchy process( AHP) to make decision for the ranked services depending on the Qo S criteria.The comparison study and experimental result show that our proposed system is superior to other service ranking approaches.展开更多

The sensor was based on a group-specific monoclonal antibody (mAb) that can recognize all 26 su...A gold immunochromatographic sensor (GICS) was developed for the rapid detection of 26 sulfonamides in honey samples. The sensor was based on a group-specific monoclonal antibody (mAb) that can recognize all 26 sulfonamides. Three haptens (hapten I with a thiazole ring, hapten 2 with a benzene ring, and hapten 3 with a straight carbon chain) were used for antigen preparation. With hybridoma technology, a group-specific mAb was screened with a 50% maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) against sulfathizole (STZ) and the other 25 analogues ranging from 0.08 to 90.18 ng/mL. Mono-dispersed gold nanoparticles were conjugated with the mAb to develop the lateral immunochromatographic strip. A labeled antibody concentration of 0.1 pg/mL and a coating antigen concentration of 0.2 μg/mL in the test line were chosen for strip preparation. Under optimized conditions, the visual limits of detection (vLOD) for the concentrations of STZ, sulfamethoxazole, sulfamethizole, sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine, sulfadimethoxine, sulfamonomethoxine, sulfameter, sulfamethoxypyridazine, and sulfachloropyridazine were 5, 0.25, 0.25, 10, 5, 10, 25, 2.5, 5, 0.25, and 10 μg/kg, respectively. Scanner analysis in honey samples revealed good performance for detection of the 26 sulfonamides. Commercial honey samples were tested with the sensor and positive results were confirmed with high-performance liquid chromatography. The proposed strip sensor provides a convenient method for the rapid and reliable determination of sulfonamides pollutants in honey samples.展开更多

An immunochromatographic strip based on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) was then assembled with goat anti-mouse antibody and antigen (sarfloxacin coupled to ovalbumin), used to form the C line and T line, respectively. This antigen competes with the (fluoro)quinolones in a sample incubated with mAbs labeled with AuNPs. The strip can detect 32 (fluoro)quinolones including oxolinic acid, nalidixic acid, miloxacin, pipemidic acid, piromidic acid, rosoxacin, cinoxacin, norfloxacin, pefloxacin, lomfloxacin, enofloxacin, fleroxacin, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, dafloxacin, orbifloxacin, sparfloxacin, gemifloxacin, besifloxacin, balofloxacin, gatifloxacin, moxifloxacin, nadifloxacin, ofloxacin, marbofloxacin, flumequine, pazufloxacin, prulifloxacin, sarafloxacin, difloxacin, trovafloxacin, and tosufloxacin in milk within 10 min with the naked eye. The cut-off values of the strip range from 1 to 100 ng/mL and the limits of detection are 0.1- 10 ng/mL. The strip does not cross-react with antibiotics including tetracycline, sulfamethazine, ampicillin, erythromycin, aflatoxin B1, or gentamicin. Background:Extracranial metastasis(ENM)of meningiomas is extremely rare,and typically occurs several years after a primary tumor is diagnosed.However,the genetic changes underlying ENM events have not yet been investi...Background:Extracranial metastasis(ENM)of meningiomas is extremely rare,and typically occurs several years after a primary tumor is diagnosed.However,the genetic changes underlying ENM events have not yet been investigated.Case presentation:A 58-year-old male patient was sent to the emergency room of our hospital because of a sudden fall.Magnetic resonance imaging detected a mass at the right frontal sagittal sinus.He underwent tumor resection and recovered well,but post-operative computed tomography revealed three lumps on the right side of his chest.Thoracic surgery was performed to remove two of the lumps.Pathological findings revealed that the brain and lung tumors were grade I meningiomas.The patient received no additional radiation or chemotherapy post-surgery,and there was no sign of tumor recurrence in the brain or progression of the remaining lump in the chest 1 year after surgery.We performed whole exome sequencing of the patient’s blood,primary brain tumor,and lung metastatic tumor tissues to identify somatic genetic alterations that had occurred during ENM.This revealed that a frameshift deletion of the neurofibromin 2 gene likely drove formation of the meningioma.Surprisingly,we found that the brain tumor was relatively homogeneous and contained only one dominant clone;both the pulmonary metastasis and the original brain tumor were derived from the same clone,and no obvious additional driver mutations were detected in the metastatic tumor.Conclusion:Although ENM of meningiomas is very rare,brain tumor cells appear to be more adaptable to tissue microenvironments outside of the central nervous system than was commonly thought.展开更多
