Zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolithic stationary phases have attracted increasing attention for their use in hydrophilic interaction chromatography.In this study,a novel hydrophilic polymeric monolith was fabrica...Zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolithic stationary phases have attracted increasing attention for their use in hydrophilic interaction chromatography.In this study,a novel hydrophilic polymeric monolith was fabricated through photo-initiated copolymerization of 3-(3-vinyl-1-imidazolio)-1-propanesulfonate(SBVI)with pentaerythritol triacrylate using methanol and tetrahydrofuran as the porogenic system.Notably,the duration for the preparation of this novel monolith was as little as 5 min,which was significantly shorter than that required for previously reported sulfobetaine-based monoliths prepared via conventional thermally initiated copolymerization.Moreover,these monoliths showed good morphology,permeability,porosity(62.4%),mechanical strength(over 15 MPa),column efficiency(51,230 plates/m),and reproducibility(relative standard deviations for all analytes were lower than 4.6%).Mechanistic studies indicated that strong hydrophilic and negative electrostatic interactions might be responsible for the retention of polar analytes on the zwitterionic SBVI-based monolith.In particular,the resulting monolith exhibited good anti-protein adhesion ability and low nonspecific protein adsorption.These excellent features seem to favor its application in bioanalysis.Therefore,the novel zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolith was successfully employed for the highly selective separation of small bioactive compounds and the efficient enrichment of N-glycopeptides from complex samples.In this study,we prepared a novel zwitterionic sulfobetaine-based monolith with good performance and developed a simpler and faster method for preparation of zwitterionic monoliths.展开更多
To improve the connectivity of device-to-device(D2D)communication between delay-assisted vehicles,a multi-hop D2D relay selection strategy based on outage probability is proposed.The algorithm firstly clusters the rel...To improve the connectivity of device-to-device(D2D)communication between delay-assisted vehicles,a multi-hop D2D relay selection strategy based on outage probability is proposed.The algorithm firstly clusters the relay users based on the distance of D2D users,and determines the number of one-hop relay nodes through the outage probability threshold.Two-hop relay nodes directly select the same number of relays as one-hop relay nodes according to the descending order of signal noise ratio(SNR)to establish a square matrix.The Hungarian algorithm is used to assign the relay nodes of two clusters to complete the inter relay communication.Finally,the information is sent to the D2D receiver by combining technology.The simulation results show that this algorithm can reduce the cost of relay probing process and the outage probability of system in multi-hop D2D relay communication.展开更多
Spinal intradural(subdural and subarachnoid)hematoma following percutaneous kyphoplasty is an extremely rare complication.In this report,we described a case of 2 episodes of subarachnoid hemorrhage with delayed paraly...Spinal intradural(subdural and subarachnoid)hematoma following percutaneous kyphoplasty is an extremely rare complication.In this report,we described a case of 2 episodes of subarachnoid hemorrhage with delayed paralysis after kyphoplasty.A 73-year-old man underwent percutaneous kyphoplasty in our hospital an osteoporotic vertebral fracture at the T12 level.On the 55 h after kyphoplasty for T12 osteoporotic vertebral fracture,he developed paralysis of the lower limbs.An emergency posterior decompression from T8 to L2 was performed.And the subarachnoid hematomas were removed.Postoperatively,the neurological symptoms improved rapidly.However,2 weeks after the operation,the patient experienced a setback with severe neurological decline(paraplegia with sensory and autonomic dysfunction).An emergency posterior decompression from T5 to L2 was performed.The subarachnoid hematomas were removed.This case reflects the cause and progression of spinal subdural hematoma.Previous literature has debated the best treatment approach for spinal subarachnoid hemorrhage,but the prognosis of patients is heavily dependent on precise symptom evaluation and localization.展开更多
