文摘Understanding the adsorption interactions between carbon materials and sulfur compounds has far-reaching impacts,in addition to their well-known important role in energy storage and conversion, such as lithium-ion batteries. In this paper, properties of intrinsic B or Si single-atom doped, and B-Si codoped graphene(GR)and graphdiyne(GDY)were investigated by using density functional theory-based calculations,in which the optimal doping configurations were explored for potential applications in adsorbing sulfur compounds. Results showed that both B or Si single-atom doping and B-Si codoping could substantially enhance the electron transport properties of GR and GDY,improving their surface activity.Notably,B and Si atoms displayed synergistic effects for the codoped configurations, where B-Si codoped GR/GDY exhibited much better performance in the adsorption of sulfurcontaining chemicals than single-atom doped systems. In addition, results demonstrated that, after B-Si codoping, the adsorption energy and charge transfer amounts of GDY with sulfur compounds were much larger than those of GR,indicating that B-Si codoped GDY might be a favorable material for more effectively interacting with sulfur reagents.

文摘The constant evolution of pathogens poses a threat to wheat resistance against diseases, endangering food security.Developing resistant wheat varieties is the most practical approach for circumventing this problem. As a close relative of wheat,Aegilops geniculata, particularly accession SY159,has evolved numerous beneficial traits that could be applied to improve wheat. In this study,we established the karyotype of SY159 by fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)using the oligonucleotide probes Oligo-pTa535 and Oligo-pSc119.2 and a complete set of wheat–Ae.geniculata accession TA2899 addition lines as a reference.Using specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing(SLAF-seq)technology,400 specific markers were established for detecting the SY159 chromosomes with efficiencies reaching 81.5%.The SY159-specific markers were used to classify the different homologous groups of SY159 against the wheat-Ae.geniculata addition lines. We used these specific markers on the 7Mg chromosome after classification, and successfully confirmed their suitability for studying the different chromosomes of SY159.This study provides a foundation for accelerating the application of SY159 in genetic breeding programs designed to improve wheat.

文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have made great advances in terms of power conversion efficiency(PCE),yet their subpar stability continues to hinder their commercialization. The interface between the perovskite layer and the charge-carrier transporting layers plays a crucial role in undermining the stability of PSCs.In this work,we propose a strategy to stabilize high-performance PSCs with PCE over 23%by introducing a cesium-doped graphene oxide(GO-Cs)as an interlayer between the perovskite and hole-transporting material. The GO-Cs treated PSCs exhibit excellent operational stability with a projected T80(the time where the device PCE reduces to 80%of its initial value)of 2143 h of operation at the maximum powering point under one sun illumination.

文摘Objective Intestinal fibrosis is a refractory complication of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Tumor necrosis factor ligand-related molecule-1A(TL1A)is important for IBD-related intestinal fibrosis in a dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced experimental colitis model. This study aimed to explore the effects of TL1A on human colonic fibroblasts. Methods A trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS)-induced experimental colitis model of LCK-CD2-TL1A-GFP transgenic(Tg)or wild-type(WT)mice was established to determine the effect and mechanism of TL1A on intestinal fibrosis. The human colonic fibroblast CCD-18Co cell line was treated concurrently with TL1A and human peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC)supernatant. The proliferation and activation of CCD-18Co cells were detected by BrdU assays, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry and Western blotting.Collagen metabolism was tested by Western blotting and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR).Results The level of collagen metabolism in the TNBS+ethyl alcohol(EtOH)/Tg group was greater than that in the TNBS+EtOH/WT group.Transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)and p-Smad3 in the TNBS+EtOH/Tg group were upregulated as compared with those in the TNBS+EtOH/WT group. The proliferation of CCD-18Co cells was promoted by the addition of human PBMC supernatant supplemented with 20 ng/mL TL1A,and the addition of human PBMC supernatant and TL1A increased CCD-18Co proliferation by 24.4%at 24 h.TL1A promoted cell activation and increased the levels of COL1A2,COL3A1,and TIMP-1 in CCD-18Co cells.Treatment of CCD-18Co cells with TL1A increased the expression of TGF-β1 and p-Smad3.Conclusion TL1A promotes TGF-β1-mediated intestinal fibroblast activation, proliferation, and collagen deposition and is likely related to an increase in the TGF-β1/Smad3 signaling pathway.

文摘In this paper,we explore a distributed collaborative caching and computing model to support the distribution of adaptive bit rate video streaming. The aim is to reduce the average initial buffer delay and improve the quality of user experience.Considering the difference between global and local video popularities and the time-varying characteristics of video popularity,a two-stage caching scheme is proposed to push popular videos closer to users and minimize the average initial buffer delay.Based on both long-term content popularity and short-term content popularity, the proposed caching solution is decouple into the proactive cache stage and the cache update stage. In the proactive cache stage,we develop a proactive cache placement algorithm that can be executed in an off-peak period. In the cache update stage,we propose a reactive cache update algorithm to update the existing cache policy to minimize the buffer delay.Simulation results verify that the proposed caching algorithms can reduce the initial buffer delay efficiently.

文摘Self-assembly of bacteria in electric fields is a promising route to fabricate biomaterials with reversible and specific structures. However, due to relatively less studies, our understanding of the self-assembly of bacteria in electric fields is still incomplete.Particularly, how different bacterial species behave differently in their fieldmediated self-assembly behavior remains to be disclosed. In this study,we choose four bacterial species, including Shewanella oneidensis,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,Bacillus subtilis and Lactococcus lactis as model systems, and investigate their self-assembly behavior in alternating-current(AC)electric fields for both diluted and concentrated suspensions. The phase diagrams in the plane of applied field strength vs frequency are obtained. The results show that in diluted suspensions,a transition sequence of isotropic–paranematic–string–columnar phases is observed in all strains as the field strength increases.Details of the assembled structures are quantitatively differentiated among different strains. In concentrated suspensions, besides the isotropic and paranematic phases,a higher ordered phase with interdigitating rectangular crystal domains(OIR)and an ordered phase with smectic A liquid crystal domains are observed for S.oneidensis and P.aeruginosa,respectively.Our findings shed new light on fabricating potential biomaterials by assembling cells of appropriately chosen bacterial species that have desired surface properties under AC electric fields.
