The variations of single event transient(SET)pulse width of high-LET heavy ion irradiation in 16-nm-thick bulk silicon fin field-effect transistor(Fin FET)inverter chains with different driven strengths are measured at different temperatures.Three-dimensional(3D)technology computer-aided design simulations are carried out to study the SET pulse width and saturation current varying with temperature.Experimental and simulation results indicate that the increase in temperature will enhance the parasitic bipolar effect of bulk Fin FET technology,resulting in the increase of SET pulse width.On the other hand,the increase of inverter driven strength will change the layout topology,which has a complex influence on the SET temperature effects of Fin FET inverter chains.The experimental and simulation results show that the device with the strongest driven strength has the least dependence on temperature. 展开更多

AIM To evaluate the impact of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) programs on postoperative complications of pancreatic surgery. METHODS Computer searches were performed in databases(including PubM ed, Cochrane Libr... AIM To evaluate the impact of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) programs on postoperative complications of pancreatic surgery. METHODS Computer searches were performed in databases(including PubM ed, Cochrane Library and Embase) for randomized controlled trials or case-control studies describing ERAS programs in patients undergoing pancreatic surgery published between January 1995 and August 2017. Two researchers independently evaluated the quality of the studies' extracted data that met the inclusion criteria and performed a metaanalysis using Rev Man5.3.5 software. Forest plots, demonstrating the outcomes of the ERAS group vs the control group after pancreatic surgery, and funnel plots were used to evaluate potential publication bias.RESULTS Twenty case-control studies including 3694 patients, published between January 1995 and August 2017, were selected for the meta-analysis. This study included the ERAS group(n = 1886) and the control group(n = 1808), which adopted the traditional perioperative management. Compared to the control group, the ERAS group had lower delayed gastric emptying rates [odds ratio(OR) = 0.58, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.48-0.72, P < 0.00001], lower postoperative complication rates(OR = 0.57, 95%CI: 0.45-0.72, P < 0.00001), particularly for the mild postoperative complications(Clavien-Dindo Ⅰ-Ⅱ)(OR = 0.71, 95%CI: 0.58-0.88, P = 0.002), lower abdominal infection rates(OR = 0.70, 95%CI: 0.54-0.90, P = 0.006), and shorter postoperative length of hospital stay(PLOS)(WMD =-4.45, 95%CI:-5.99 to-2.91, P < 0.00001). However, there were no significant differences in complications, such as, postoperative pancreatic fistulas, moderate to severe complications(Clavien-Dindo Ⅲ-Ⅴ), mortality, readmission and unintended reoperation, in both groups.CONCLUSION The perioperative implementation of ERAS programs in pancreatic surgery is safe and effective, can decrease postoperative complication rates, and can promote recovery for patients. 展开更多

AIM:To investigate whether electroacupuncture ST36 activates enteric glial cells,and alleviates gut inflammation and barrier dysfunction following hemorrhagic shock.METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to approximately 45% total blood loss and randomly divided into seven groups:(1) sham:cannulation,but no hemorrhage;(2) subjected to hemorrhagic shock(HS);(3) electroacupuncture(EA) ST36 after hemorrhage;(4) vagotomy(VGX)/EA:VGX before hemorrhage,then EA ST36;(5) VGX:VGX before hemorrhage;(6) a-bungarotoxin(BGT)/EA:intraperitoneal injection of a-BGT before hemorrhage,then EA ST36; and(7) a-BGT group:a-BGT injection before hemorrhage.Morphological changes in enteric glial cells(EGCs) were observed by immunofluorescence,and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP; a protein marker of enteric glial activation) was evaluated using reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis.Intestinal cytokine levels,gut permeability to 4-k Da fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC)-dextran,and the expression and distribution of tight junction protein zona occludens(ZO)-1 were also determined.RESULTS:EGCs were distorted following hemorrhage and showed morphological abnormalities.EA ST36 attenuated the morphological changes in EGCs at 6 h,as compared with the VGX,a-BGT and HS groups.EA ST36 increased GFAP expression to a greater degree than in the other groups.EA ST36 decreased intestinal permeability to FITC-dextran(760.5 ± 96.43 ng/m L vs 2466.7 ± 131.60 ng/m L,P < 0.05) and preserved ZO-1 protein expression and localization at 6 h afterhemorrhage compared with the HS group.However,abdominal VGX and a-BGT treatment weakened or eliminated the effects of EA ST36.EA ST36 reduced tumor necrosis factor-a levels in intestinal homogenates after blood loss,while vagotomy or intraperitoneal injection of a-BGT before EA ST36 abolished its antiinflammatory effects.CONCLUSION:EA ST36 attenuates hemorrhageinduced intestinal inflammatory insult,and protects the intestinal barrier integrity,partly via activation of EGCs. 展开更多

AIM: To investigate whether dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO) inhibits gut inflammation and barrier dysfunction following zymosan-induced systemic inflammatoryresponse syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.METHODS: Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups: sham with administration of normal saline(SS group); sham with administration of DMSO(SD group); zymosan with administration of normal saline(ZS group); and zymosan with administration of DMSO(ZD group). Each group contained three subgroups according to 4 h,8 h,and 24 h after surgery. At 4 h,8 h,and 24 h after intraperitoneal injection of zymosan(750 mg/kg),the levels of intestinal inflammatory cytokines [tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) and interleukin(IL)-10] and oxides(myeloperoxidase,malonaldehyde,and superoxide dismutase) were examined. The levels of diamine oxidase(DAO) in plasma and intestinal mucosal blood flow(IMBF) were determined. Intestinal injury was also evaluated using an intestinal histological score and apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells was determined by deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) assay. The intestinal epithelial tight junction protein,ZO-1,was observed by immunofluorescence.RESULTS: DMSO decreased TNF-α and increased IL-10 levels in the intestine compared with the ZS group at the corresponding time points. The activity of intestinal myeloperoxidase in the ZS group was higher than that in the ZD group 24 h after zymosan administration(P < 0.05). DMSO decreased the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) and increased the activity of superoxide dehydrogenase(SOD) 24 h after zymosan administration. The IMBF was lowest at 24 h and was 49.34% and 58.26% in the ZS group and ZD group,respectively(P < 0.05). DMSO alleviated injury in intestinal villi,and the gut injury score was significantly lower than the ZS group(3.6 ± 0.2 vs 4.2 ± 0.3,P < 0.05). DMSO decreased the level of DAO in plasma compared with the ZS group(65.1 ± 4.7 U/L vs 81.1 ± 5.0 U/L,P < 0.05). DMSO significantly preserved ZO-1 protein expression and localization 24 h after zymosan administration. The TUNEL analysis indicated that the number of apoptotic intestinal cells in the ZS group was much higher than the ZD group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: DMSO inhibited intestinal cytokines and protected against zymosan-induced gut barrier dysfunction. 展开更多

The microstructure and hydrogen storage properties of low V content (Ti0.46Cr0.54)100-xVx (x = 2.5-7.1, at%) and (TiyCr1-y)95V5 (y= 0.38-0.54) alloys were investigated. These alloys were prepared by arc melting and copper mould suction casting. The structures of as-cast (Ti0.46Cr0.54)100-xVx (x = 2.5, 5.0, and 7.1) alloy ingots evolve with V contents from pure Laves-(x = 2.5) to dual-phase TiCr2-BCC structures (5.0 and 7.1), whereas the suction-cast (Ti0.46Cr0.54)100-xVx (x =2.5, 5.0, and 7.1) alloys only contain single BCC phase. The suction-cast alloy rod (Ti0.46Cr0.54)95V5, containing only 5.0 at% V is shown to possess the optimum hydrogen absorption capacity, with the maximum hydrogen content of 3.14 wt%. Furthermore, the hydrogen storage properties of the suction-cast low V alloys (TiyCr1-y)95V5 (y = 0.38-0.54) are sensitive to Ti/Cr ratios and only those alloys with Ti/Cr ratios close to the CN14 cluster [TiTCrs] have good hydrogen storage properties. 展开更多

Upset errors in 90-nm 64 Mb NOR-type floating-gate Flash memory induced by accelerated ^(129)Xe and ^(209)Bi ions are investigated in detail. The linear energy transfer covers the range from 50 to 99.8 Me V/(mg/cm^2). When the memory chips are powered off during heavy ions irradiation, single-event-latch-up and single-event-function-interruption are excluded,and only 0-〉1 upset errors in the memory array are observed. These error bit rates seem very difficult to achieve and cannot be simply recovered based on the power cycle. The number of error bits shows a strong dependence on the linear energy transfer(LET). Under room-temperature annealing conditions, the upset errors can be reduced by about two orders of magnitude using rewrite/reprogram operations, but they subsequently increase once again in a few minutes after the power cycle. High-temperature annealing can diminish almost all error bits, which are affected by the lower LET ^(129)Xe ions. The percolation path between the floating-gate(FG) and the substrate contributes to the radiation-induced leakage current, and has been identified as the root cause of the upset errors of the Flash memory array in this work. 展开更多

The synthesized ANPZO is characterized by IR, laser granularity measurement, SEM and HPLC.The particle analysis revealed that the improved method could offer desired product with average particle size of 40 mm and high purity(>98.45%). The experimental parameters exhibited that the detonation velocity of the formulation based on ANPZO was higher than that of the corresponding TATB formulation. The DSC curve showed that the exothermic decomposition of the product occurred at the temperature between300.5 C and 360.4 C. Furthermore, the sensitivity test suggests its safe nature towards mechanical stimulus. 展开更多

AIM:To study the imaging characteristics of lacrimal punctum lesion with optical coherence tomography(OCT),and provide imaging basis for the diagnosis and treatment of lacrimal punctum diseases.METHODS:A total of 25 patients(28 eyes)with epiphora and lacrimal puncta lesions were enrolled.Lacrimal puncta lesions included:punctum membrane obstruction in 7 cases(9 eyes),punctum agenesis in 1 case(1 eye),a mass protruded from the punctum in 1 case(1 eye),slit puncta in 1 case(1 eye),peri-puncta mass in 2 cases(2 eyes),chronic dacryocystitis in 4 cases(4 eyes),and primary puncta stenosis in 9 cases(10 eyes;3 eyes mild,4 eyes moderate and 3 eyes severe).All patients were examined by slit lamp microscopy and OCT to observe the morphological characteristics of abnormal punctum.RESULTS:Two types of complete membrane obstruction and incomplete membrane obstruction of puncta were observed in OCT images of 7 patients.No lacrimal punctum and lacrimal canalicular cavity were found in 1 case with punctum agenesis.OCT images showed that a narrow lumen remained in the lacrimal puncta in 1 patient with a mass protruded from the punctum.OCT of punctum in a patient with slit punctum after stent placement showed stent and abnormal lacrimal structure.No abnormal intraluminal structure was found in 2 cases of peri-puncta mass after OCT scan,and the lacunar space was narrower than that of the contralateral eye.OCT of puncta in 4 patients with chronic dacryocystitis showed that pus floated in tear with lump-like medium-low reflex.In 9 patients with primary lacrimal puncta stenosis,OCT image could clearly show the changes of puncta lumen in different degrees and shapes.CONCLUSION:OCT is feasible for the examination of pathological punctum,and can provide imaging basis for the diagnosis and treatment of punctum disease. 展开更多

目的:应用眼前节光学相干断层扫描(AS-OCT)对原发性泪点狭窄患者的泪点进行量化,并分析其与溢泪的相关性。方法:横断面研究。共纳入2020年9月至2021年1月于解放军总医院第三医学中心泪器病中心就诊的44例(62眼)原发性泪点狭窄伴溢泪的... 目的:应用眼前节光学相干断层扫描(AS-OCT)对原发性泪点狭窄患者的泪点进行量化,并分析其与溢泪的相关性。方法:横断面研究。共纳入2020年9月至2021年1月于解放军总医院第三医学中心泪器病中心就诊的44例(62眼)原发性泪点狭窄伴溢泪的患者为观察组,对照组为43例(57眼)健康志愿者。对所有受试者的下泪点进行AS-OCT扫描,并对泪点图像进行量化,以观察其AS-OCT图像特征,测量参数包括泪点外径、泪点深度、泪点内残留泪液的液面直径及深度,根据以上参数计算泪点储备量及比率。结果:1)符合正态分布的各测量参数用均数±标准差表示,结果如下,观察组:泪点外径458.19±63.58μm、泪点内残留泪液的直径200.34±84.69μm、泪点内残留泪液的深度188.95±87.50μm、泪点储备比率0.32±0.18;正常对照组各测量参数为:泪点外径655.53±82.62μm、泪点内残留泪液的直径230.26±107.02μm、泪点内残留泪液的深度275.30±144.34μm、泪点储备比率0.46±0.23,观察组各参数均小于正常组(P<0.05);2)不符合正态分布的参数数据则用中位数及四分位数表示,结果如下,观察组:泪点深度265.50μm (四分位间距204.25-328.77)μm、泪点储备量71.53μm (四分位间距46.12-111.37)μm,对照组:泪点深度468.76μm(四分位间距420.50-588.88)μm、泪点储备量182.16μm (四分位间距131.36-309.84)μm,观察组各参数数据均小于正常对照组(P<0.05);3)观察组测量数据显示,溢泪程度与泪点外径呈负相关(相关系数r=-0.448,P<0.05)、与泪点内残留泪液的深度呈正相关(相关系数r=0.335,P<0.05)、与泪点储备量及其比率呈负相关(相关系数r=-0.520、-0.566,P<0.05)。结论:AS-OCT的使用可以帮助提高对泪点形态的认知;泪点内残留泪液的深度以及泪点外径的大小与溢泪相关;原发性泪点狭窄者中泪点储备泪液的潜在能力越强,溢泪程度越弱,且泪点外径小者相对于泪点外径大者更易出现溢泪症状。 展开更多

Like many developmental processes, a large number of transcription factors, such as homeobox genes, have been shown to orchestrate this complicated but highly organized physiological process during implantation. In this review, we focus on progress in studies of the role of homeobox genes, especially the Hox and Msx gene families, during implantation, together with subsequent development of post-implantation uterus and related reproductive defects in both mouse models and humans, that have led to better understanding of how implantation is precisely regulated and provide new insights into infertility. 展开更多

Objective The quality of microarray data influences the accuracy of comparative genomic analyses to a large extent.To ensure that the results obtained by using an in situ synthesized microarray are accurate,data quality is to be assessed by evaluating the melting temperature (Tm) of probes,probability of false synthesis rates,and fragmentation of labeled targets.Methods DNA from the Yersinia pestis vaccine strain EV76 was used for microarray analyses.Microarray results were confirmed by PCR.Statistical and bioinformatics methods were employed to perform microarray data analyses and evaluation.Results Correlation coefficients of the three datasets were above 0.95 after two-time stripping and hybridization with a labeled DNA with the size of fragmentation being 200 bp-2 kb,which showed that the hybridization results were highly reproducible.Correlation coefficients were lower with the values ranging from 0.87 to 0.92 between the datasets generated from hybridization with different sizes of the labeled DNA fragment.For the relationship between Tm and signal intensity,there was a different distribution of Tm in the lowest 300 or 3 000 probes with a range of 70 ℃-72 ℃ and the highest 300 or 3 000 probes with a range of 72 ℃-74 ℃.Conclusion The results of this study suggest that the initial microarray design may affect the accuracy of final analyses and that the probe Tm and the size of the labeled fragment may be the two factors of the greatest importance. 展开更多

Because of the discrete charge storage mechanism, charge trapping memory(CTM) technique is a good candidate for aerospace and military missions. The total ionization dose(TID) effects on CTM cells with Al2O3/HfO2/Al2O3(AHA) high-k gate stack structure under in-situ 10 keV x-rays are studied. The C-V characteristics at different radiation doses demonstrate that charge stored in the device continues to be leaked away during the irradiation,thereby inducing the shift of flat band voltage(V(fb)). The dc memory window shows insignificant changes, suggesting the existence of good P/E ability. Furthermore, the physical mechanisms of TID induced radiation damages in AHA-based CTM are analyzed. 展开更多

The synthesized ANPZO is character... 2,6-diamino-3,5-dinitropyrazine-1-oxide(ANPZO), as an insensitive high explosive, with a high yield and excellent purity has been prepared at pilot plant scale by an improved method. The synthesized ANPZO is characterized by IR, laser granularity measurement, SEM and HPLC.The particle analysis revealed that the improved method could offer desired product with average particle size of 40 mm and high purity(>98.45%). The experimental parameters exhibited that the detonation velocity of the formulation based on ANPZO was higher than that of the corresponding TATB formulation. The DSC curve showed that the exothermic decomposition of the product occurred at the temperature between300.5 C and 360.4 C. Furthermore, the sensitivity test suggests its safe nature towards mechanical stimulus. 展开更多

The purposes of this work were to obtain the accurate elastic modulus of the nanocrystalline WC-Co cemented carbides, and to propose the mechanism for the difference of elastic modulus between the nanocrystalline and conventional polycrystalline cemented carbides. The nanocrystalline cemented carbide was prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS) technique. The conventional polycrystalline cemented carbides were prepared by SPS and sinter-HIP techniques as references, respectively. The sintered cemented carbides were characterized by X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and the transmission electron microscopy with precession electron diffraction technology. The elastic modulus was obtained by averaging the values measured with the continuous stiffness measurement method of the nanoindentation technology. The results show that the nanocrystalline cemented carbide has a relatively low modulus, which could be attributed to the more interface area and higher fraction ratio of the hcp cobalt phase caused by the rapid heating and cooling process during SPS. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the characteristics of glucolipid metabolism as well as atherosclerosis in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) combined with cerebral infarction.Methods:Patients who were treated in the hospital due to acute cerebral infarction between March 2015 and February 2018 were selected, and according to the combination of OSAHS, the 300 patients with cerebral infarction were divided into the cerebral infarction group A who were combined with OSAHS and the cerebral infarction group B who were not combined with OSAHS;the 100 cases of healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The contents of glucolipid metabolism indexes, cytokines and plaque hydrolysis molecules in serum were determined.Results: Serum F-Ins, TC, LDL-C, VE-cadherin, YKL-40, FKN, M-CSF, MCP-1, MMP9, Caspase-3, ICTP and VCAM-1 levels of cerebral infarction group A and cerebral infarction group B were significantly higher than those of control group whereas HDL-C levels were significantly lower than that of control group;serum F-Ins, TC, LDL-C, VE-cadherin, YKL-40, FKN, M-CSF, MCP-1, MMP9, Caspase-3, ICTP and VCAM-1 levels of cerebral infarction group A were significantly higher than those of cerebral infarction group B whereas HDL-C level was significantly lower than that of cerebral infarction group B.Conclusion: There are more significant glucolipid metabolism disorder and worse plaque stability in patients with OSAHS combined with cerebral infarction. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the effect of gangliosides combined with hyperbaric oxygenation on neural functional recovery and oxidative stress injury after cerebral infarction intervention. Methods:A total of 120 patients with cerebral infarction who received interventional therapy in our hospital between August 2013 and February 2016 were collected and divided into control group and observation group, 60 cases in each group. Control group received hyperbaric oxygenation after intervention, and the observation group received gangliosides combined with hyperbaric oxygenation after intervention. The differences in serum levels of neurotrophy indexes, nerve injury indexes and oxidative stress indexes were compared between two groups of patients before and after treatment.Results: Before intervention, differences in serum levels of neurotrophy indexes, nerve injury indexes and oxidative stress indexes were not statistically significant between two groups of patients. After intervention, serum neurotrophy indexes BDNF and NT-3 levels in observation group were higher than those in control group;serum nerve injury indexes S100B, NGB, NSE and GFAP levels were lower than those in control group;serum oxidative indexes MDA, MPO and LPO levels were lower than those in control group while antioxidant indexes SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and TAC levels were higher than those in control group.Conclusion: Gangliosides combined with hyperbaric oxygenation for patients with cerebral infarction after interventional therapy helps speed up the neural functional recovery and also reduce systemic inflammatory response. 展开更多

Electrocatalysis of CO_(2)reduction reaction is an effective way to convert CO_(2)into high value-added products,but the selectivity of Cu-based catalysts for C2+products needs to be improved due to the high energy barrier of C-C coupling.Therefore,a viable catalyst design strategy to decrease energy barrier of C-C coupling should be put forward.Here,a nanocavity-enriched CuPd single atom alloy(CuPd SAA)catalyst is designed to promote CC coupling process.The faradaic efficiency of CuPd SAA for ethylene and C_(2+)reaches 75.6%and 85.7%at-0.7 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),respectively.Based on the results given by in situ characterization,the porous hollow structure dramatically increases the ratio of the linear-bond*CO,thus enhancing the faradaic efficiency for ethylene.Density functional theory(DFT)calculation reveals that the Pd doping can regulate the electronic structure of neighboring Cu atoms to decrease the energy barrier of C-C coupling,further improving the faradaic efficiency.This work provides a new idea for designing catalyst with high selectivity for ethylene. 展开更多

Then the composite powder was agglomerated to prepare thermal spraying feedstock. The ultrafine/nanostructured WC-lOCo-4Cr coating was prepared by high velocity oxygen fuel thermal spraying. The phase constitution, elemental distribution and microstructure of the coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy, respectively. The wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the prepared composite coating were tested. The results show that the main phases of the coating include WC, binding phase with partial amorphous structure, with a little WC and Co(Cr)coexisting. The distributions of Co and Cr elements from the phase boundary to the eutectic area then to Co zone were analyzed quantitatively. The mechanisms for the formation of the microstructure and effects of Cr on the performance of the composite coating are proposed. 展开更多

In this study, two kinds of WC-Co coatings with different decarburization levels were deposited by high-velocity oxy-fuel(HVOF) spraying using the ultrafine WC-Co composite powder and commercial micronsized powder, respectively. The hardness and elastic modulus were measured on the top surface and cross sections of the prepared coatings by the nanoindentation method. The results show that the ultrafine-structured coating has much higher density and inhibited decarburization than the conventional coating, which thus results in higher hardness and elastic modulus values than the micronsized coating. The wear resistance of thermal-sprayed cermet coatings greatly depends on the cross-sectional hardness and elastic modulus which reflects the bond strength between splats to some extent. Based on the analysis, a better understanding of the microstructure and properties in cermet coating materials was obtained. 展开更多

While some individuals infected by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)present mild-to-severe disease,many SARS-CoV-2-infected individuals are asymptomatic.We sought to identify the distinction of immune response between asymptomatic and moderate patients.We performed single-cell transcriptome and T-cell/B-cell receptor(TCR/BCR)sequencing in 37 longitudinal collected peripheral blood mononuclear cell samples from asymptomatic,moderate,and severe patients with healthy controls.Asymptomatic patients displayed increased CD56^(bri)CD16^(-) natural killer(NK)cells and upregulation of interferon-gamma in effector CD4^(+) and CD8^(+) T cells and NK cells.They showed more robust TCR clonal expansion,especially in effector CD4^(+) T cells,but lack strong BCR clonal expansion compared to moderate patients.Moreover,asymptomatic patients have lower interferon-stimulated genes(ISGs)expression in general but large interpatient variability,whereas moderate patients showed various magnitude and temporal dynamics of the ISGs expression across multiple cell populations but lower than a patient with severe disease.Our data provide evidenee of different immune signatures to SARS-CoV-2 in asymptomatic infections. 展开更多
