The neuroprotective effects of skin-derived precursor Schwann cells may be attributable to the release of growth factors that nourish host cells. In this study, we first established a cellular model of Parkinson’s disease using 6-hydroxydopamine. When SH-SY5 Y cells were pretreated with conditioned medium from skin-derived precursor Schwann cells, their activity was greatly increased. The addition of insulin-like growth factor-2 neutralizing antibody markedly attenuated the neuroprotective effects of skin-derived precursor Schwann cells. We also found that insulin-like growth factor-2 levels in the peripheral blood were greatly increased in patients with Parkinson’s disease and in a mouse model of Parkinson’s disease. Next, we pretreated cell models of Parkinson’s disease with insulin-like growth factor-2 and administered insulin-like growth factor-2 intranasally to a mouse model of Parkinson’s disease induced by 6-hydroxydopamine and found that the level of tyrosine hydroxylase, a marker of dopamine neurons, was markedly restored, α-synuclein aggregation decreased, and insulin-like growth factor-2 receptor downregulation was alleviated. Finally, in vitro experiments showed that insulin-like growth factor-2 activated the phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3 K)/AKT pathway. These findings suggest that the neuroprotective effects of skin-derived precursor Schwann cells on the central nervous system were achieved through insulinlike growth factor-2, and that insulin-like growth factor-2 may play a neuroprotective role through the insulin-like growth factor-2 receptor/PI3 K/AKT pathway. Therefore, insulin-like growth factor-2 may be an useful target for Parkinson’s disease treatment.展开更多

These complexes were used as catalysts for ethylene polymerization in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO). The effects of polymerization temperature, time, concentration of catalyst, molar ratio of MAO/Cat on polymerization were studied in detail. The catalytic activities of thiophenedimethylene bridged binuclear metallocene catalysts (3, 4) reached 2.44 × 10^5 g PE mol^-1 cat^-1· h^-1, 9.61 × 10^5 g PE mol^-1 · cat^-1· h^-1 respectively, which are higher than that of pheneyldimethylene bridged binuclear metallocene catalysts and much higher than that of corresponding mononuclear metallocenes (Cp2TiCl2 and Cp2ZrCl2). The molecular weight distribution curves of polyethylenes produced by binuclear metallocene catalysts (3, 4) and by mononuclear metallocene catalyst have only single peak, but the former (MWD = 3.5-4.7) is obviously broader than the latter (MWD = 2.0-2.2).展开更多

文摘By treating disodium(thiophenedimethylene)dicyclopentadienide C4H2S(CH2C5H4Na)2 with two equivalent of CpTiCl3 or CpZrC13 DME at 0℃ in THF, two new thiophenedimethylene bridged binuclear metallocenes [Cl2MC5H5][C5H4CH2C4H2SCH2C5H4][C5H5MCl2] (M = Ti 3, M = Zr 4) were synthesized in high yield and their structures were characterized by ^1H-NMR. The molecular weight distribution curves of polyethylenes produced by binuclear metallocene catalysts (3, 4) and by mononuclear metallocene catalyst have only single peak, but the former (MWD = 3.5-4.7) is obviously broader than the latter (MWD = 2.0-2.2).

文摘Alzheimer's disease(AD)has an unknown pathogenesis, which is one of the key factors leading to the death of the elderly.Recent studies have shown that glial cells, including microgli、astrocytes、oligo-dendrocytes and oligodendrocyte progenitor cells(NG2 glial cells),are closely related to the pathogenesis of AD.It is believed that activated microglial cells are very easy to induce neuritis and then lead to neurodegeneration. In this paper, the characteristics of the above four glial cells, their functions and their correlation with AD were reviewed,in order to provide a reference for the further study of the pathogenesis of AD.

文摘Dimensional regulation in polyoxometalates is an effective strategy during the design and synthesis of polyoxometalates-based high proton conductors, but it is not available to date.Herein, the precise regulation of dimensionality has been realized in an unprecedented gigantic molybdenum blue wheel family featuring pentagonal{(W)Mo5}motifs through optimizing the molar ratio of Mo/W,including[Gd_(2)Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(422)(H_(2)O)62]38-(0D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)},1),[Mo_(126)W_(14)O441(H_(2)O)51]^(70-)(1D-{Mo_(126)W_(14)}n,2),and[Mo_(124)W_(14)O_(430)(H_(2)O)50]60-(2D-{Mo_(124)W_(14)}n,3).Such important{(W)Mo5}structural motif brings new reactivity into gigantic Mo blue wheels. There are different numbers and sites of{Mo2}defects in each wheel-shaped monomer in 1-3,which leads to the monomers of 2 and 3 to form 1D and 2D architectures via Mo-O-Mo covalent bonds driven by{Mo2}-mediated H_(2)O ligands substitution process, respectively, thus achieving the controllable dimensional regulation. As expected, the proton conductivity of 3 is 10 times higher than that of 1 and 1.7 times higher than that of 2.The continuous proton hopping sites in 2D network are responsible for the enhanced proton conductivity with lower activation energy. This study highlights that this dimensional regulation approach remains great potential in preparing polyoxometalates-based high proton conductive materials.
