To cultivate talents with an exploratory spirit and practical skills in the era of information technology,it is imperative to reform teaching methods and approaches.In the teaching process of the Probability and Statistics course,an application-oriented blended teaching model combining problem-based learning and small private online course was explored.By organizing and implementing online and offline teaching activities based on problem-based learning,a multidimensional process-oriented learning assessment system was established.Practice has shown that this model can effectively enhance classroom teaching effectiveness,benefiting the improvement of students’overall skills and mathematical literacy. 展开更多

Objective:The paper aimed to study the relationship between the expressions of immunoglobulin G(IgG) subclasses toward human papillomavirus 16-like particles(HPV16VLPs) in the serum of patients and different grades of cervical lesions.Methods:The expressions of IgG subclasses in 32 cases of human papillomavirus(HPV) infection,30 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN I),43 CIN Ⅱ-Ⅲ,and 24 hysteromyoma and chronic cervicitis were examined by ELISA.Results:The absorbance values of HPV16VLPs-IgG,IgG1 increased with the grade of CIN(P < 0.05).The IgG2 dominance(IgG2/IgG1 ratio > 1) from control group was 100%,87.50% for HPV infection group,75% for CIN I group,compared with that from CIN Ⅱ-Ⅲ patients(9.52%)(P < 0.05).The positive rates and absorbance values of HPV16VLPs-IgG,IgG1 and IgG2 from HPV16-DNA positive group were significantly higher than those from non-HPV16-DNA positive group(P < 0.05).There was a moderate correlation between the HPV16-DNA testing and detection of HPV16VLPs-IgG(r = 0.531,P < 0.05).Conclusion:An increase of the expressions of HPV16VLPs-IgG and its subclasses in the serum of the patients with cervical precancerous lesions,especially those with CIN II-III,might be associated with duration of HPV infection and severity of cervical lesions.An increase of the IgG2 dominance(IgG2/IgG1 > 1) in serum from low grade cervical lesions group and normal control group,might indicate the clearance of HPV infection and the regression of cervical lesions. 展开更多

The three-dimensional hierarchical CuO and Au nanoparticles were synthesized by the hydrothermal method, respectively. The hierarchical CuO and the Au nanoparticles samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electronic microscope, respectively. The as-synthesized CuO was assembled regularly from the nanosheets with thickness of 100 nm. The size of Au nanoparticles ranged from 50 to 200 nm. The hierarchical CuO gas sensors modified by different concentration of gold were fabricated. All the Au-loaded CuO gas sensors enhanced the response to ethanol and xylene while reducing the response to methanol, acetone, and formaldehyde. The results indicate that the Au nanoparticles prepared with PVP as surfactant can improve the selectivity of CuO gas sensors to ethanol gas for other common organic volatile gases. The improvement of gas sensing is mainly attributed to the different catalytic efficiency of the Au nanoparticles for different reactions. Meanwhile, the related mechanisms are discussed. 展开更多

Assessment of ecological civilization construction from the perspective of environment and health in China

This study innovatively evaluated ecological civilization in China from the perspective of environment and health.A Composite Environmental Health Index(CEHI)was constructed based on the Driving force-Pressure-State-Impact-Response(DPSIR)and Coupling Coordination Degree(CCD)models.Results showed that significant and sustained improvements were observed in the ecological environment after ecological civilization,while economic development continued to progress at a steady pace.However,the advancement in population health(impact subsystem),exhibited comparatively modest progress,potentially linked to issues such as demographic aging and the enduring consequences of past exposure to environmental pollutants.At the provincial level,the regional development was uneven.The CEHI performance was highest in the eastern regions,followed by the central regions,with the western regions showing the least progress.Beijing,Guangdong,Jiangsu,Shanghai,and Zhejiang emerged as top performers with higher CEHI scores,which can be attributed to their favorable geographical positioning and the response subsystem.Conversely,northeastern regions(Heilongjiang,Jilin,and Liaoning)and northwestern regions(Shaanxi,Gansu,Ningxia,and Qinghai)experienced limited advancements in post-ecological civilization implementation.For these underperforming regions,there is a pressing need to intensify efforts aimed at enhancing their response subsystems.In summary,China's pursuit of ecological civilization has yielded significant successes,potentially offering valuable insights for other nations striving for sustainable development.The ecological civilization model's integration of ecological environmental protection into economic,political,cultural,and social constructs may serve as a meaningful reference for the sustainable development of other countries. 展开更多

Applying the fluorescent carbon dots as smart materials in anticancer therapy is of great interest.However,carbon dots for multimodal synergistic anticancer therapy,especially for the triple modality,is rarely reported.Herein,we successfully synthesized OCDs by citric acid and(1R,2S)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethan-1-ol,which show aggregation-induced emission property and two-photon fluorescence imaging.Meanwhile,OCDs are ideal photosensitizers for photothermal therapy under 808 nm and TypeⅠphotodynamic therapy with white light.Hydroxyl radicals,generated by TypeⅠphotodynamic therapy based on OCDs can transform protumoral M2 macrophages into antitumoral M1 macrophages,which exhibited immunotherapy ability.The synergism trimodal of OCDs results in potent anticancer efficacy,showing great potential in cancer therapy. 展开更多

Microbial natural products have been one of the most important sources for drug development.In the current postgenomic era,sequence-driven approaches for natural product discovery are becoming increasingly popular.Here,we develop an effective genome mining strategy for the targeted discovery of microbial metabolites with antitumor activities.Our method employs uvrA-like genes as genetic markers,which have been identified in the biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs)of several chemotherapeutic drugs of microbial origin and confer self-resistance to the corresponding producers.Through systematic genomic analysis of gifted actinobacteria genera,identification of uvrA-like gene-containing BGCs,and targeted isolation of products from a BGC prioritized for metabolic analysis,we identified a new tetracycline-type DNA intercalator timmycins.Our results thus provide a new genome mining strategy for the efficient discovery of antitumor agents acting through DNA intercalation. 展开更多

We propose a rapid and solvent-flee route for synthesizing luminous carbon clusters by controlling carbonization of polyethylene glycol (PEG). This approach does not involve solvents yet uses the precursor itself as suspend- ing medium, thus features mild and green chemistry, and also enables the formation of uniform-sized carbon clus- ters, of which the diameter can be easily tuned from 0.7 to 3.5 nm via control of reaction time. In term of the di- mension, the resultants are denoted as sub-nano carbon clusters (SNCs) and carbon dots (CDs), respectively. Bene- fiting from surface anchored PEG segments, both of the two show favorable flowability at room temperature and excellent solubility in aqueous and organic solvents. Comparison of their optical performances and structures re- veals that they share the same chromophores. Particularly, the SNCs demonstrate robust photo- and pH-stable pho- toluminescence and can be directly applied to cell-imaging regarding to its prominent biocompatibility. Moreover, its quantum yield (5.5%), which is approximately 3 times higher than that of CDs (1.5%), can be dramatically en- hanced to 18.8% by facile chemical reduction. We anticipate that these PEG derivatives marked with easy synthesis, controllable optical performances and excellent physical properties will be highly appealing in future applications. 展开更多
