As the risks associated with air turbulence are intensified by climate change and the growth of the aviation industry,it has become imperative to monitor and mitigate these threats to ensure civil aviation safety.The ...As the risks associated with air turbulence are intensified by climate change and the growth of the aviation industry,it has become imperative to monitor and mitigate these threats to ensure civil aviation safety.The eddy dissipation rate(EDR)has been established as the standard metric for quantifying turbulence in civil aviation.This study aims to explore a universally applicable symbolic classification approach based on genetic programming to detect turbulence anomalies using quick access recorder(QAR)data.The detection of atmospheric turbulence is approached as an anomaly detection problem.Comparative evaluations demonstrate that this approach performs on par with direct EDR calculation methods in identifying turbulence events.Moreover,comparisons with alternative machine learning techniques indicate that the proposed technique is the optimal methodology currently available.In summary,the use of symbolic classification via genetic programming enables accurate turbulence detection from QAR data,comparable to that with established EDR approaches and surpassing that achieved with machine learning algorithms.This finding highlights the potential of integrating symbolic classifiers into turbulence monitoring systems to enhance civil aviation safety amidst rising environmental and operational hazards.展开更多

However, most existing methods neglect that viewprivatemeaningless information or noise may interfere with the learning of self-expression, which may lead to thedegeneration of clustering performance. In this paper, we propose a novel framework of Contrastive Consistencyand Attentive Complementarity (CCAC) for DMVsSC. CCAC aligns all the self-expressions of multiple viewsand fuses them based on their discrimination, so that it can effectively explore consistent and complementaryinformation for achieving precise clustering. Specifically, the view-specific self-expression is learned by a selfexpressionlayer embedded into the auto-encoder network for each view. To guarantee consistency across views andreduce the effect of view-private information or noise, we align all the view-specific self-expressions by contrastivelearning. The aligned self-expressions are assigned adaptive weights by channel attention mechanism according totheir discrimination. Then they are fused by convolution kernel to obtain consensus self-expression withmaximumcomplementarity ofmultiple views. Extensive experimental results on four benchmark datasets and one large-scaledataset of the CCAC method outperformother state-of-the-artmethods, demonstrating its clustering effectiveness.展开更多
Transformer-based stereo image super-resolution reconstruction(Stereo SR)methods have significantly improved image quality.However,existing methods have deficiencies in paying attention to detailed features and do not...Transformer-based stereo image super-resolution reconstruction(Stereo SR)methods have significantly improved image quality.However,existing methods have deficiencies in paying attention to detailed features and do not consider the offset of pixels along the epipolar lines in complementary views when integrating stereo information.To address these challenges,this paper introduces a novel epipolar line window attention stereo image super-resolution network(EWASSR).For detail feature restoration,we design a feature extractor based on Transformer and convolutional neural network(CNN),which consists of(shifted)window-based self-attention((S)W-MSA)and feature distillation and enhancement blocks(FDEB).This combination effectively solves the problem of global image perception and local feature attention and captures more discriminative high-frequency features of the image.Furthermore,to address the problem of offset of complementary pixels in stereo images,we propose an epipolar line window attention(EWA)mechanism,which divides windows along the epipolar direction to promote efficient matching of shifted pixels,even in pixel smooth areas.More accurate pixel matching can be achieved using adjacent pixels in the window as a reference.Extensive experiments demonstrate that our EWASSR can reconstruct more realistic detailed features.Comparative quantitative results show that in the experimental results of our EWASSR on the Middlebury and Flickr1024 data sets for 2×SR,compared with the recent network,the Peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)increased by 0.37 dB and 0.34 dB,respectively.展开更多
From providing funds for the global fight against infectious diseases,to actively participating in global health security actions,to strengthening mutual cooperation in the field of health,and providing medical treatm...From providing funds for the global fight against infectious diseases,to actively participating in global health security actions,to strengthening mutual cooperation in the field of health,and providing medical treatment,training and scholarships to countries in need,China’s foreign aid on global poverty alleviation is increasingly diversified and expanding in scale.Indeed,China is playing an increasingly important leading role in the global health agenda.It is worth mentioning that over the years,artemisinin compound have saved millions of lives all over the world,especially in poverty-stricken areas.China’s work mode of malaria elimination has also been written into WHO’s technical documents and recommended to other countries.Since 2007,Chinese medical staff has carried out the Artemisinin Compound Malaria Control Project in Comoros,bringing Chinese prevention and treatment programs to the local area.By 2014,Comoros had achieved zero deaths from malaria,and the number of cases had dropped by 98%.Now,this program is also extended to Togo,another African country.This article preliminarily summarizes the malaria profile in Togo and introduces China-Togo Cooperative Artemisinin Malaria Control Demonstration Project to provide a reference for better anti-malaria assistance in Togo,and also shows one of the substantive actions of China’s participation in global health governance,which contributes Chinese wisdom and offers Chinese solutions to global poverty alleviation.展开更多

Due to the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the aggravation of related environmental problems,hydrogen energy is gaining more attention all over the world.Solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)is a promising power gener...Due to the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the aggravation of related environmental problems,hydrogen energy is gaining more attention all over the world.Solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)is a promising power generation technology operating on hydrogen with a high efficiency.To further boost the power output of a single cell and thus a single stack,increasing the cell area is an effective route.However,it was recently found that further increasing the effective area of an SOFC single cell with a flat-tubular structure and symmetric double-sided cathodes would result in a lower areal performance.In this work,a multi-physical model is built to study the effect of the effective area on the cell performance.The distribution of different physical fields is systematically analyzed.Optimization of the cell performance is also pursued by systematically tuning the cell operating condition and the current collection setup.An improvement of 42%is revealed by modifying the inlet gas flow rates and by enhancing the current collection.In the future,optimization of cell geometry will be performed to improve the homogeneity of different physical fields and thus to improve the stability of the cell.展开更多
Brillouin optical time-domain analysis(BOTDA)requires frequency mapping of the Brillouin spectrum to obtain environmental information(e.g.,temperature or strain)over the length of the sensing fiber,with the finite fre...Brillouin optical time-domain analysis(BOTDA)requires frequency mapping of the Brillouin spectrum to obtain environmental information(e.g.,temperature or strain)over the length of the sensing fiber,with the finite frequencysweeping time-limiting applications to only static or slowly varying strain or temperature environments.To solve this problem,we propose the use of an optical chirp chain probe wave to remove the requirement of frequency sweeping for the Brillouin spectrum,which enables distributed ultrafast strain measurement with a single pump pulse.The optical chirp chain is generated using a frequency-agile technique via a fast-frequency-changing microwave,which covers a larger frequency range around the Stokes frequency relative to the pump wave,so that a distributed Brillouin gain spectrum along the fiber is realized.Dynamic strain measurements for periodic mechanical vibration,mechanical shock,and a switch event are demonstrated at sampling rates of 25 kHz,2.5 MHz and 6.25 MHz,respectively.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of distributed Brillouin strain sensing with a wide-dynamic range at a sampling rate of up to the MHz level.展开更多

However,there exist two main challeng...It has been widely acknowledged that learning-based super-resolution(SR) methods are effective to recover a high resolution(HR) image from a single low resolution(LR) input image. However,there exist two main challenges in learning-based SR methods currently: the quality of training samples and the demand for computation. We proposed a novel framework for single image SR tasks aiming at these issues, which consists of blind blurring kernel estimation(BKE) and SR recovery with anchored space mapping(ASM). BKE is realized via minimizing the cross-scale dissimilarity of the image iteratively, and SR recovery with ASM is performed based on iterative least square dictionary learning algorithm(ILS-DLA). BKE is capable of improving the compatibility of training samples and testing samples effectively and ASM can reduce consumed time during SR recovery radically.Moreover, a selective patch processing(SPP) strategy measured by average gradient amplitude |grad| of a patch is adopted to accelerate the BKE process. The experimental results show that our method outruns several typical blind and non-blind algorithms on equal conditions.展开更多

In order to provide a sensitive cell line model for investigating the mechanisms underlying the lymphatic metastasis of tumors and the effect of medicine against cells,a new murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell line wi...In order to provide a sensitive cell line model for investigating the mechanisms underlying the lymphatic metastasis of tumors and the effect of medicine against cells,a new murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell line with high lymphatic metastatic potential(Hca-P/L_(6))was established and the effect of curcumin on biological behavior of Hca-P/L_(6) was observed.Murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell strain with low lymphatic metastatic potential(Hca-P)was subcutaneously inoculated into the medioventral line of a mouse 615 and thefirst generation of metastatic tumor cells of inguinal lymph node(Hca-P/L_(1))was obtained.Then,Hca-P/L_(1) was screened by the route of mouse foot pad subcutaneously!lymph node!scale-up culture in vitro!mouse foot pad subcuta-neously forfive times consecutively.The sensitivity of two murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell lines(Hca-P and Hca-P/L_(6))and two anchorage-dependent human hepato-carcinoma cell lines(SMC7721 and HepG_(2))to curcumin were studied by use of 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay after these cells had been pretreated by curcumin at the concentration of 15–240μmol/L for 48 h.After pretreatment by curcumin at the maximum non-cytotoxic dose of 15μmol/L in vitro,the effect of curcumin against cell proliferation of Hca-P and Hca-P/L6 was observed by inverted micro-scope,cell growth curve and cell population doubling time;the effects of curcumin on cell cycles of Hca-P/L6 and Hca-P were studied byflow cytometry(FCM).The results showed Hca-P/L_(6) spreading to the lymph nodes at multiple sites in mice was screened from Hca-P.The lymph node metastatic rate was 100%.Curcumin had significant growth inhibiting effect on both murine ascites and human hepatocarcinoma cell lines in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05).At concentrations of 30–120μmol/L,curcu-min had more inhibition on murine ascites hepatocarci-noma cell lines than on human anchorage-dependent hepatocarcinoma cell lines.At concentrations of 60–240μmol/L,curcumin had more inhibition on Hca-P/L_(6) with the 50%inhibitory concentration(IC50)of 51.48μmol/L than on Hca-P with IC50 of 90.87μmol/L.After pretreatment by curcumin at the maximum non-cytotoxic dose of 15 mol/L for 7 days,the proliferations of Hca-P/L_(6) and Hca-P were inhibited(P<0.05)in a time-dependent manner(P<0.01)and the population doubling time of Hca-P/L6 and Hca-P was prolonged(P<0.01),and curcumin had more inhibition on Hca-P/L6 than on Hca-P(P<0.05).After pretreatment by 15μmol/L curcumin for 48 h,the morphous of Hca-P/L_(6) was influenced more seriously than that of Hca-P and the cell cycle was redistributed with Hca-P/L6 being blocked in the S phase and Hca-P in the S and G_(2)/M phases.Hca-P/L_(6) was validated to be more sensitive to curcumin than Hca-P.Hca-P/L_(6) is a novel sensitive cell line model for investigating the mechanisms underlying tumor lymphatic metastasis and the effect of the medicine against cells.展开更多

文摘Brillouin optical time-domain analysis(BOTDA)requires frequency mapping of the Brillouin spectrum to obtain environmental information(e.g.,temperature or strain)over the length of the sensing fiber,with the finite frequencysweeping time-limiting applications to only static or slowly varying strain or temperature environments.To solve this problem,we propose the use of an optical chirp chain probe wave to remove the requirement of frequency sweeping for the Brillouin spectrum,which enables distributed ultrafast strain measurement with a single pump pulse.The optical chirp chain is generated using a frequency-agile technique via a fast-frequency-changing microwave,which covers a larger frequency range around the Stokes frequency relative to the pump wave,so that a distributed Brillouin gain spectrum along the fiber is realized.Dynamic strain measurements for periodic mechanical vibration,mechanical shock,and a switch event are demonstrated at sampling rates of 25 kHz,2.5 MHz and 6.25 MHz,respectively.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of distributed Brillouin strain sensing with a wide-dynamic range at a sampling rate of up to the MHz level.

文摘It has been widely acknowledged that learning-based super-resolution(SR) methods are effective to recover a high resolution(HR) image from a single low resolution(LR) input image. However,there exist two main challenges in learning-based SR methods currently: the quality of training samples and the demand for computation. We proposed a novel framework for single image SR tasks aiming at these issues, which consists of blind blurring kernel estimation(BKE) and SR recovery with anchored space mapping(ASM). BKE is realized via minimizing the cross-scale dissimilarity of the image iteratively, and SR recovery with ASM is performed based on iterative least square dictionary learning algorithm(ILS-DLA). BKE is capable of improving the compatibility of training samples and testing samples effectively and ASM can reduce consumed time during SR recovery radically.Moreover, a selective patch processing(SPP) strategy measured by average gradient amplitude |grad| of a patch is adopted to accelerate the BKE process. The experimental results show that our method outruns several typical blind and non-blind algorithms on equal conditions.

文摘In order to provide a sensitive cell line model for investigating the mechanisms underlying the lymphatic metastasis of tumors and the effect of medicine against cells,a new murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell line with high lymphatic metastatic potential(Hca-P/L_(6))was established and the effect of curcumin on biological behavior of Hca-P/L_(6) was observed.Murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell strain with low lymphatic metastatic potential(Hca-P)was subcutaneously inoculated into the medioventral line of a mouse 615 and thefirst generation of metastatic tumor cells of inguinal lymph node(Hca-P/L_(1))was obtained.Then,Hca-P/L_(1) was screened by the route of mouse foot pad subcutaneously!lymph node!scale-up culture in vitro!mouse foot pad subcuta-neously forfive times consecutively.The sensitivity of two murine ascites hepatocarcinoma cell lines(Hca-P and Hca-P/L_(6))and two anchorage-dependent human hepato-carcinoma cell lines(SMC7721 and HepG_(2))to curcumin were studied by use of 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay after these cells had been pretreated by curcumin at the concentration of 15–240μmol/L for 48 h.After pretreatment by curcumin at the maximum non-cytotoxic dose of 15μmol/L in vitro,the effect of curcumin against cell proliferation of Hca-P and Hca-P/L6 was observed by inverted micro-scope,cell growth curve and cell population doubling time;the effects of curcumin on cell cycles of Hca-P/L6 and Hca-P were studied byflow cytometry(FCM).The results showed Hca-P/L_(6) spreading to the lymph nodes at multiple sites in mice was screened from Hca-P.The lymph node metastatic rate was 100%.Curcumin had significant growth inhibiting effect on both murine ascites and human hepatocarcinoma cell lines in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05).At concentrations of 30–120μmol/L,curcu-min had more inhibition on murine ascites hepatocarci-noma cell lines than on human anchorage-dependent hepatocarcinoma cell lines.At concentrations of 60–240μmol/L,curcumin had more inhibition on Hca-P/L_(6) with the 50%inhibitory concentration(IC50)of 51.48μmol/L than on Hca-P with IC50 of 90.87μmol/L.After pretreatment by curcumin at the maximum non-cytotoxic dose of 15 mol/L for 7 days,the proliferations of Hca-P/L_(6) and Hca-P were inhibited(P<0.05)in a time-dependent manner(P<0.01)and the population doubling time of Hca-P/L6 and Hca-P was prolonged(P<0.01),and curcumin had more inhibition on Hca-P/L6 than on Hca-P(P<0.05).After pretreatment by 15μmol/L curcumin for 48 h,the morphous of Hca-P/L_(6) was influenced more seriously than that of Hca-P and the cell cycle was redistributed with Hca-P/L6 being blocked in the S phase and Hca-P in the S and G_(2)/M phases.Hca-P/L_(6) was validated to be more sensitive to curcumin than Hca-P.Hca-P/L_(6) is a novel sensitive cell line model for investigating the mechanisms underlying tumor lymphatic metastasis and the effect of the medicine against cells.

文摘To the Editor:High-frequency resistance(typically≥15-25%viral quasispecies)detected by conventional resistance assays has long been associated with failure of antiretroviral therapy(ART)to suppress viral replication,[1]but the impact of pre-existing lowfrequency resistance on virological response is controversial.Previous studies have shown an increased likelihood of virological response failure in patients with preexisting low-frequency resistance mutations after initiation of antiviral therapy,especially primary ART regimens containing non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NNRTIs).[2]However,some studies have concluded differently,suggesting that pre-existing lowfrequency resistance mutations do not correlate with viral response failure.[3]This may be related to the method of detection of pre-existing low-frequency resistance mutations.
