Silk is widely used in the production of high-quality textiles.At the same time,the amount of silk textiles no longer in use and discarded is increasing,resulting in significant waste and pollution.This issue is of gr...Silk is widely used in the production of high-quality textiles.At the same time,the amount of silk textiles no longer in use and discarded is increasing,resulting in significant waste and pollution.This issue is of great concern in many countries where silk is used.Hydrogen peroxide as a naturally occurring compound is an important indicator of detection in both biology and the environment.This study aims to develop a composite fiber with hydrogen peroxide-sensing properties using discarded silk materials.To achieve this goal,firstly,polydopamine(PDA)was used to encapsulate the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) NPs to achieve the improvement of dispersion,and then regenerated silk fibroin(RSF)and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF hybrid fibers are prepared by wet spinning.Research has shown that PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF demonstrates exceptional sensitivity,selectivity,and stability in detecting hydrogen peroxide,while maintaining high mechanical strength.Furthermore,the complete hybridization of PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4) with silk fibroin not only results in the combination of the durability of silk fibroin and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)’s rigidity,ensuring a reliable service life,but also makes PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF exhibit excellent catalytic activity and biocompatibility.Therefore,the composite fiber exhibits exceptional mechanical properties and reliable hydrogen peroxide sensing capabilities,making it a promising material for biological and medical applications.展开更多
Objective:Cold regions exhibit a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease,particularly acute myocardial infarction(AMI),which is one of the leading causes of death associated with cardiovascular conditions.Cardiovasc...Objective:Cold regions exhibit a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease,particularly acute myocardial infarction(AMI),which is one of the leading causes of death associated with cardiovascular conditions.Cardiovascular disease is closely linked to the abnormal expression of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA).This study investigates whether circulating levels of lncRNA cardiac conduction regulatory RNA(CCRR)could serve as a biomarker for AMI.Materials and methods:We measured circulating CCRR from whole blood samples collected from 68 AMI patients and 69 non-AMI subjects.An AMI model was established using C57BL/6 mice.Quantitative reverse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR)was used to assess CCRR expression.Exosomes were isolated from cardiomyocytes,and their characteristics were evaluated using electron microscope and nanoparticle tracking analysis.The exosome inhibitor GW4869 was employed to examine the effect of exosomal CCRR on cardiac function using echocardiography.Protein expression was detected using Western blot and immunofluorescence staining.Results:The circulating level of CCRR was significantly higher in AMI patients(1.93±0.13)than in non-AMI subjects(1.00±0.05,P<0.001).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of circulating CCRR was 0.821.Similar changes in circulating CCRR levels were consistently observed in an AMI mouse model.Exosomal CCRR derived from hypoxia-induced cardiomyocytes and cardiac tissue after AMI were increased,a change that was reversed by GW4869.Additionally,CCRR-overexpressing exosomes improved cardiac function in AMI.Conclusion:Circulating lncRNA CCRR is a potential predictor of AMI.Exosomal CCRR plays a role in the communication between the heart and other organs through circulation.展开更多

The results showed that patients who have suffered from large-artery atherosclerosis, relative to small-artery occlusion patients, were characterized by elevated serum uric acid but reduced high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Logistic regression showed that elevated uric acid and lower triglyceride levels were the main risk factors for patients with large-artery atherosclerosis. The findings of this study suggest that hyperuricemia may be a risk factor for stroke.展开更多

Pharmacotherapy with dopaminergic drugsis the mainstay of PD therapy. There is no currently available cure or disease-modifying treatment. Dietand various foods have been proposed as possible risk factors for PD. Nutritional supplementation withomega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, B vitamins, and coenzyme Q may have potential in the management ofPD. In addition, several strategies could possibly lead to the development of medical foods in PD. Forexample, ketogenic diets may have effects complementary to pharmacotherapy. Gut microbial dysbiosisand altered microbial metabolites found in PD may lead to chronic low-grade inflammation in gut andbrain. Interventions targeting gut microbiota, such as the supplementation of probiotics, may providenovel approaches to PD in regard to both symptomatic treatment and disease modification. High qualityrandomized controlled trials need to be conducted in order to evaluate whether these food-basedstrategies have symptomatic efficacy or the potential to delay the progression of PD.展开更多
Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most prevalent cause of dementia worldwide.Treatments achieving a marked improvement in symptoms or preventing or delaying the progression of the disease are not available.Various diet-r...Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most prevalent cause of dementia worldwide.Treatments achieving a marked improvement in symptoms or preventing or delaying the progression of the disease are not available.Various diet-related risk factors for AD have been identified.Evidence for a protective effect of the Mediterranean diet on AD risk is inconclusive.Medical foods are designed to meet specific dietary needs for certain diseases.Improvements in symptomatology and regional brain atrophy in AD have been claimed for several medical foods,for example,those providing ketone bodies as alternative energy supply to neurons,those containing precursors believed to improve synaptic function,and those addressing oxidative stress related to memory loss.Many methodological shortcomings render the interpretation of the available findings of medical food trials in AD difficult.Optimal results of medical foods in AD may be expected when administered in presymptomatic or early stages of the disease.This requires the reliable identification of minimal neuropathological changes related to AD.The outcome measures currently used may not be able to detect subtle changes in cognition and function in early AD.Large-scale clinical studies using valid,sensitive,and reliable assessment tools are needed to establish the efficacy of medical foods in AD.展开更多

Excellent solderability was found on the Ni-52Fe plating as both the wetting force and kinetics approached or exceeded those on the pure Ni. However, upon further increase in Fe content to 75 at. pct, the solderability of the alloy was severely degraded even though it was still better than that of the pure Fe plating. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that such a strong dependence of solderability on Fe content is related to the much thinner, incomplete oxide coverage of Ni-rich plating surface.展开更多

Traditionally,silkworm silk has been used to make high-quality textiles.Nevertheless,various wastes from silk-worm silk textiles that are no longer used are increasing.which is also causing considerable waste and cont...Traditionally,silkworm silk has been used to make high-quality textiles.Nevertheless,various wastes from silk-worm silk textiles that are no longer used are increasing.which is also causing considerable waste and contam-ination.This issue is causing widespread concern in countries that use more silk.Regenerated silk fibroin(RSF)fibers have been shown to be fragile and tender,which prohibits RSF from being widely used as a structural com-ponent.Therefore,enriching the function of silk and enhancing the RSF mechanial properties are important directions to expand the comprehensive utilization of silk products.In the present research,wet spinning was used to create a series of RSF/tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))nanoparticles(NPs)hybrid fiber having distinct WS_(2) nanoparticles concentrations.It was discovered that the temperature of hybrid fibers containing 0.8 wt%RSF/WS_(2) nanoparticles might climb from 20.4℃ to 85.6℃in 1 min and 108.3℃ in 10 min after being exposed to simulated sunlight for a period of one minute and ten minutes.It also had certain antibacterial activity and thermal stability.Fabrics created by hand mixing had outst anding photothermal characteristics under natural sunlight.Further-more,adding WS_(2) nanoparticles might increase the tensile properties of hybrid fibers,which could be caused by the reality that the blending of WS_(2) nanoparticles inhibited the self-assembly of sheets in RSF reaction mixture in a dosage dependent way,as evidenced by the fact that RSF/WSz nanoparticles hybrid fibers had lesser β-sheets material,crystalline nature,and arystalline size.The above performance makes the RSF/WS_(2) nanoparticles hybrid fbers promising candidates for application in photothermal fabrics as well as military dothing.展开更多

Background:We previously reported that activation of the cell cycle in human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(hiPSC-CMs)enhances their remuscularization capacity after human cardiac muscle patch tr...Background:We previously reported that activation of the cell cycle in human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(hiPSC-CMs)enhances their remuscularization capacity after human cardiac muscle patch transplantation in infarcted mouse hearts.Herein,we sought to identify the effect of magnesium lithospermate B(MLB)on hiPSC-CMs during myocardial repair using a myocardial infarction(MI)mouse model.Methods:In C57BL/6 mice,MI was surgically induced by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery.The mice were randomly divided into five groups(n=10 per group);a MI group(treated with phosphate-buffered saline only),a hiPSC-CMs group,a MLB group,a hiPSC-CMs+MLB group,and a Sham operation group.Cardiac function and MLB therapeutic efficacy were evaluated by echocardiography and histochemical staining 4 weeks after surgery.To identify the associated mechanism,nuclear factor(NF)-κB p65 and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM1)signals,cell adhesion ability,generation of reactive oxygen species,and rates of apoptosis were detected in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)and hiPSC-CMs.Results:After 4 weeks of transplantation,the number of cells that engrafted in the hiPSC-CMs+MLB group was about five times higher than those in the hiPSC-CMs group.Additionally,MLB treatment significantly reduced tohoku hospital pediatrics-1(THP-1)cell adhesion,ICAM1 expression,NF-κB nuclear translocation,reactive oxygen species production,NF-κB p65 phosphorylation,and cell apoptosis in HUVECs cultured under hypoxia.Similarly,treatment with MLB significantly inhibited the apoptosis of hiPSC-CMs via enhancing signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)phosphorylation and B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL2)expression,promoting STAT3 nuclear translocation,and downregulating BCL2-Associated X,dual specificity phosphatase 2(DUSP2),and cleaved-caspase-3 expression under hypoxia.Furthermore,MLB significantly suppressed the production of malondialdehyde and lactate dehydrogenase and the reduction in glutathione content induced by hypoxia in both HUVECs and hiPSC-CMs in vitro.Conclusions:MLB significantly enhanced the potential of hiPSC-CMs in repairing injured myocardium by improving endothelial cell function via the NF-κB/ICAM1 pathway and inhibiting hiPSC-CMs apoptosis via the DUSP2/STAT3 pathway.展开更多
Cardiac conduction regulatory RNA(CCRR)has been documented as an antiarrhythmic lncRNA in our earlier investigation.This study aimed to evaluate the effects of CCRR on SERCA2a and the associated Ca^(2+)homeostasis in ...Cardiac conduction regulatory RNA(CCRR)has been documented as an antiarrhythmic lncRNA in our earlier investigation.This study aimed to evaluate the effects of CCRR on SERCA2a and the associated Ca^(2+)homeostasis in myocardial infarction(MI).Overexpression of CCRR via AAV9-mediated delivery not only partially reversed ischemia-induced contractile dysfunction but also alleviated abnormal Ca^(2+)homeostasis and reduced the heightened methylation level of SERCA2a following MI.These effects were also observed in CCRR overexpressing transgenic mice.A conserved sequence domain of CCRR mimicked the protective function observed with the full length.Furthermore,silencing CCRR in healthy mice led to intracellular Ca^(2+)overloading of cardiomyocytes.CCRR increased SERCA2a protein stability by upregulating FTO expression.The direct interaction between CCRR and FTO protein was characterized by RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation(RIP)analysis and RNA pulldown experiments.Activation of NFATc3 was identified as an upstream mechanism responsible for CCRR downregulation in MI.This study demonstrates that CCRR is a protective lncRNA that acts by maintaining the function of FTO,thereby reducing the m^(6)A RNA methylation level of SERCA2a,ultimately preserving calcium homeostasis for myocardial contractile function in MI.Therefore,CCRR may be considered a promising therapeutic strategy with a beneficial role in cardiac pathology.展开更多

Objective Pregnancy has been identified as a risk factor for pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD).The aim of this study was to establish primary prevention measures for PFD during pregnancy and reduce the overall incidence o...Objective Pregnancy has been identified as a risk factor for pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD).The aim of this study was to establish primary prevention measures for PFD during pregnancy and reduce the overall incidence of PFD.Methods We assembled a panel of 36 experts,including gynecologists,obstetricians,and physiotherapists.Through surveys and expert meetings,the panel reviewed and assessed the safety and effectiveness of various clinical interventions.Based on expert comments from Round 1,a revised list of 8 clinical interventions was developed and submitted for a second round of expert review.Results A consensus was reached on the importance of implementing prevention measures to protect pelvic floor function during pregnancy.Experts particularly emphasized the significance of health education,weight management,pelvic floor muscle training,respiratory training,overall exercise,physical activity,and perineal massage.Conclusion The expert consensus provides comprehensive clinical measures to safeguard pelvic floor function during pregnancy.This paper represents the initial step toward developing scientific recommendations for pregnant women regarding the primary prevention of PFD.Future research should focus on the implementation of these recommendations in clinical practice.展开更多

However, the gradual deactivation problem prevents its large-scale app...It is well known that calcium oxide (CaO) has better catalytic efficiency than most heterogeneous catalysts in many transesterification reactions. However, the gradual deactivation problem prevents its large-scale application in industry. In this paper, the deactivation mechanism of CaO in a fixed-bed reactor is investigated based on the transesterification reaction of propylene carbonate and methanol. The leaching amount of CaO during the reaction was estimated by the concentration of Ca in the products. The pretreated and recovered catalysts were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TG-MS and SEM-EDS. It is evident from experiments and characterization that the deactivation process of CaO is accompanied by the leaching of calcium species and the generation of CaCO3, which are also verified by DFT calculations. At high temperature and high weight hourly space velocity, the deactivation was attributed to the formation of dense CaCO3 shell, which prevents the contact between the feedstock and the active species inside.展开更多

These include a chloroplast envelope-localized receptor (the H subunit of Chloro- plast Mg2+-chelatase/ABA Receptor), two plasma membrane-localized receptors (G-protein Coupled Receptor 2 and GPCR-type G proteins), and one cytosol/nucleus-localized Pyrabactin Resistant (PYR)/PYR-Like (PYL)/Regulatory Component of ABA Receptor 1 (RCAR). Although the downstream molecular events for most of the identified ABA receptors are currently unknown, one of them, PYR/PYL/RCAR was found to directly bind and regulate the activity of a long-known central regulator of ABA signaling, the A-group protein phosphatase 2C (PP2C). Together with the Sucrose Non-fermentation Kinase Subfamily 2 (SnRK2s) protein kinases, a central signaling complex (ABA-PYR-PP2Cs-SnRK2s) that is responsible for ABA signal perception and transduction is supported by abundant genetic, physiological, biochemical and structural evidence. Wetting behaviors and interfacial reaction between such a high temperature lead-free solder and Cu substrate were investigated and compared with those of 95Pb-Sn solder. The results showed that the wetting properties of Sn-10Sb-SCu solder are superior to those of 95Pb-Sn solder in maximum wetting force, wetting time and wetting angle in the temperature range of 340-400℃. However, the surface of the Sn-10Sb-5Cu solder sample after wetting balance tests was rougher than that of 95Pb-Sn solder at the temperature lower than 360℃. In static liquid-state interracial reaction, the types and thickness of the intermetallic compounds (IMCs) of both solders were different from each other. The wetting kinetics in the Sn-10Sb-5Cu/Cu system was more rapid than that in 95Pb-Sn/Cu system, and the higher formation rate of IMCs in the former system was considered as the reason.展开更多
Diapause,an important strategy used by insects to avoid adverse environments,is regulated by various cell signaling pathways.The results of our previous studies demonstrated that the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-...Diapause,an important strategy used by insects to avoid adverse environments,is regulated by various cell signaling pathways.The results of our previous studies demonstrated that the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)signaling pathway regulated pupal diapause in Helicoverpa armigera,which was accompanied by downregulation of proteins in TGF-βsignaling.However,to date the mechanism underlying this phenomenon remains unknown.Here,we cloned the E3 ubiquitin ligases gene Smurf.In vitro experiments showed that Smurf directly bound to TGF-βreceptor type I(TGFβRI)and Smad2.Overexpressing Smurf promoted ubiquitination of TGFβRI and Smad2,thereby downregulating their protein levels.Conversely,silencing of the Smurf gene suppressed ubiquitination of TGFβRI and Smad2 thereby increasing their protein levels.Results from in vivo co-immunoprecipitation assays revealed that the binding of Smurf to TGFβRI or Smad2 was stronger in diapause pupae than in nondiapause pupae.Injection of Smurf inhibitor A01 into diapause pupae markedly upregulated expression of TGFβRI and Smad2 proteins,leading to resumption of development in diapause pupae.Taken together,these findings suggested that ubiquitin ligase E3 Smurf participated in H.armigera diapause by regulating TGF-βsignaling,and thus could be playing a crucial role in insect diapause.展开更多

文摘Silk is widely used in the production of high-quality textiles.At the same time,the amount of silk textiles no longer in use and discarded is increasing,resulting in significant waste and pollution.This issue is of great concern in many countries where silk is used.Hydrogen peroxide as a naturally occurring compound is an important indicator of detection in both biology and the environment.This study aims to develop a composite fiber with hydrogen peroxide-sensing properties using discarded silk materials.To achieve this goal,firstly,polydopamine(PDA)was used to encapsulate the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) NPs to achieve the improvement of dispersion,and then regenerated silk fibroin(RSF)and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF hybrid fibers are prepared by wet spinning.Research has shown that PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF demonstrates exceptional sensitivity,selectivity,and stability in detecting hydrogen peroxide,while maintaining high mechanical strength.Furthermore,the complete hybridization of PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4) with silk fibroin not only results in the combination of the durability of silk fibroin and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)’s rigidity,ensuring a reliable service life,but also makes PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF exhibit excellent catalytic activity and biocompatibility.Therefore,the composite fiber exhibits exceptional mechanical properties and reliable hydrogen peroxide sensing capabilities,making it a promising material for biological and medical applications.

文摘Objective:Cold regions exhibit a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease,particularly acute myocardial infarction(AMI),which is one of the leading causes of death associated with cardiovascular conditions.Cardiovascular disease is closely linked to the abnormal expression of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA).This study investigates whether circulating levels of lncRNA cardiac conduction regulatory RNA(CCRR)could serve as a biomarker for AMI.Materials and methods:We measured circulating CCRR from whole blood samples collected from 68 AMI patients and 69 non-AMI subjects.An AMI model was established using C57BL/6 mice.Quantitative reverse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR)was used to assess CCRR expression.Exosomes were isolated from cardiomyocytes,and their characteristics were evaluated using electron microscope and nanoparticle tracking analysis.The exosome inhibitor GW4869 was employed to examine the effect of exosomal CCRR on cardiac function using echocardiography.Protein expression was detected using Western blot and immunofluorescence staining.Results:The circulating level of CCRR was significantly higher in AMI patients(1.93±0.13)than in non-AMI subjects(1.00±0.05,P<0.001).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of circulating CCRR was 0.821.Similar changes in circulating CCRR levels were consistently observed in an AMI mouse model.Exosomal CCRR derived from hypoxia-induced cardiomyocytes and cardiac tissue after AMI were increased,a change that was reversed by GW4869.Additionally,CCRR-overexpressing exosomes improved cardiac function in AMI.Conclusion:Circulating lncRNA CCRR is a potential predictor of AMI.Exosomal CCRR plays a role in the communication between the heart and other organs through circulation.

文摘Using the Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) classification for acute ischemic stroke, 371 patients with either acute large-artery atherosclerosis or small-artery oc-clusion cerebral infarction were recruited to investigate the potential impact of elevated serum uric acid on cerebrovascular disorders. The results showed that patients who have suffered from large-artery atherosclerosis, relative to small-artery occlusion patients, were characterized by elevated serum uric acid but reduced high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Logistic regression showed that elevated uric acid and lower triglyceride levels were the main risk factors for patients with large-artery atherosclerosis. The findings of this study suggest that hyperuricemia may be a risk factor for stroke.
文摘Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disorder with motor and non-motorsigns, which begins long before the diagnosis can be made. Pharmacotherapy with dopaminergic drugsis the mainstay of PD therapy. There is no currently available cure or disease-modifying treatment. Dietand various foods have been proposed as possible risk factors for PD. Nutritional supplementation withomega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, B vitamins, and coenzyme Q may have potential in the management ofPD. In addition, several strategies could possibly lead to the development of medical foods in PD. Forexample, ketogenic diets may have effects complementary to pharmacotherapy. Gut microbial dysbiosisand altered microbial metabolites found in PD may lead to chronic low-grade inflammation in gut andbrain. Interventions targeting gut microbiota, such as the supplementation of probiotics, may providenovel approaches to PD in regard to both symptomatic treatment and disease modification. High qualityrandomized controlled trials need to be conducted in order to evaluate whether these food-basedstrategies have symptomatic efficacy or the potential to delay the progression of PD.
文摘Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most prevalent cause of dementia worldwide.Treatments achieving a marked improvement in symptoms or preventing or delaying the progression of the disease are not available.Various diet-related risk factors for AD have been identified.Evidence for a protective effect of the Mediterranean diet on AD risk is inconclusive.Medical foods are designed to meet specific dietary needs for certain diseases.Improvements in symptomatology and regional brain atrophy in AD have been claimed for several medical foods,for example,those providing ketone bodies as alternative energy supply to neurons,those containing precursors believed to improve synaptic function,and those addressing oxidative stress related to memory loss.Many methodological shortcomings render the interpretation of the available findings of medical food trials in AD difficult.Optimal results of medical foods in AD may be expected when administered in presymptomatic or early stages of the disease.This requires the reliable identification of minimal neuropathological changes related to AD.The outcome measures currently used may not be able to detect subtle changes in cognition and function in early AD.Large-scale clinical studies using valid,sensitive,and reliable assessment tools are needed to establish the efficacy of medical foods in AD.
文摘Solderabilities of electrodeposited Fe-Ni alloys with SnAgCu solder were examined by wetting balance measurements and compared to those of pure Ni and pure Fe platings. Excellent solderability was found on the Ni-52Fe plating as both the wetting force and kinetics approached or exceeded those on the pure Ni. However, upon further increase in Fe content to 75 at. pct, the solderability of the alloy was severely degraded even though it was still better than that of the pure Fe plating. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that such a strong dependence of solderability on Fe content is related to the much thinner, incomplete oxide coverage of Ni-rich plating surface.
文摘Development of highly effective catalysts for one-stage conversion of methane with high selectivity to valuable products and energy efficiency will provide an efficient way to utilize natural gas and oil-associated gases and to protect environment. In recent years, there have been many efforts on direct catalytic transformations of methane into higher hydrocarbons by feeding additives together with methane under non-oxidative conditions. This paper reviewed the advances in recent research on non-oxidative aromatization of methane in the presence of propane over different modified HZSM-5 catalysts. The thermodynamic consideration, the isotope verification and the mechanism of the activation of methane in the presence of propane are discussed in the paper in detail.

文摘Traditionally,silkworm silk has been used to make high-quality textiles.Nevertheless,various wastes from silk-worm silk textiles that are no longer used are increasing.which is also causing considerable waste and contam-ination.This issue is causing widespread concern in countries that use more silk.Regenerated silk fibroin(RSF)fibers have been shown to be fragile and tender,which prohibits RSF from being widely used as a structural com-ponent.Therefore,enriching the function of silk and enhancing the RSF mechanial properties are important directions to expand the comprehensive utilization of silk products.In the present research,wet spinning was used to create a series of RSF/tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))nanoparticles(NPs)hybrid fiber having distinct WS_(2) nanoparticles concentrations.It was discovered that the temperature of hybrid fibers containing 0.8 wt%RSF/WS_(2) nanoparticles might climb from 20.4℃ to 85.6℃in 1 min and 108.3℃ in 10 min after being exposed to simulated sunlight for a period of one minute and ten minutes.It also had certain antibacterial activity and thermal stability.Fabrics created by hand mixing had outst anding photothermal characteristics under natural sunlight.Further-more,adding WS_(2) nanoparticles might increase the tensile properties of hybrid fibers,which could be caused by the reality that the blending of WS_(2) nanoparticles inhibited the self-assembly of sheets in RSF reaction mixture in a dosage dependent way,as evidenced by the fact that RSF/WSz nanoparticles hybrid fibers had lesser β-sheets material,crystalline nature,and arystalline size.The above performance makes the RSF/WS_(2) nanoparticles hybrid fbers promising candidates for application in photothermal fabrics as well as military dothing.

文摘With an increasing proportion of sedentary lifestyle related chronic diseases,an efficient way to help fight the growing world epidemic of non-communicable diseases(NCDs)and promote public health in a fast-changing world is urgently needed.Exercise and medicine science have played an important role in prevention and control of NCDs.However,the current status and future development directions regarding the integration of exercise science and medicine(IESM)in China have not been well discussed.During 2017 Belt and Road Initiative Global Health International Congress&2017 Chinese Preventive Medicine Association-Chinese Society on Global Health Annual Meeting,Xi’an Jiaotong University Global Health Institute,and the Integration of Sport and Medicine Innovation Research Center,China Institute of Sport Science organized the IESM Forum on September 27.Six leaders and experts from China and abroad presented excellent research reports in the IESM Forum from several aspects.Experts reached a consensus at the end of their discussions that,in the near future,the IESM will be a key part of a sustainable health care system and as such should contribute to prosperity in China and around the world.However,compared with European,American and Japanese universities,the development of the IESM in China is in its early stages with huge development potential.

文摘Background:We previously reported that activation of the cell cycle in human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes(hiPSC-CMs)enhances their remuscularization capacity after human cardiac muscle patch transplantation in infarcted mouse hearts.Herein,we sought to identify the effect of magnesium lithospermate B(MLB)on hiPSC-CMs during myocardial repair using a myocardial infarction(MI)mouse model.Methods:In C57BL/6 mice,MI was surgically induced by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery.The mice were randomly divided into five groups(n=10 per group);a MI group(treated with phosphate-buffered saline only),a hiPSC-CMs group,a MLB group,a hiPSC-CMs+MLB group,and a Sham operation group.Cardiac function and MLB therapeutic efficacy were evaluated by echocardiography and histochemical staining 4 weeks after surgery.To identify the associated mechanism,nuclear factor(NF)-κB p65 and intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM1)signals,cell adhesion ability,generation of reactive oxygen species,and rates of apoptosis were detected in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)and hiPSC-CMs.Results:After 4 weeks of transplantation,the number of cells that engrafted in the hiPSC-CMs+MLB group was about five times higher than those in the hiPSC-CMs group.Additionally,MLB treatment significantly reduced tohoku hospital pediatrics-1(THP-1)cell adhesion,ICAM1 expression,NF-κB nuclear translocation,reactive oxygen species production,NF-κB p65 phosphorylation,and cell apoptosis in HUVECs cultured under hypoxia.Similarly,treatment with MLB significantly inhibited the apoptosis of hiPSC-CMs via enhancing signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)phosphorylation and B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL2)expression,promoting STAT3 nuclear translocation,and downregulating BCL2-Associated X,dual specificity phosphatase 2(DUSP2),and cleaved-caspase-3 expression under hypoxia.Furthermore,MLB significantly suppressed the production of malondialdehyde and lactate dehydrogenase and the reduction in glutathione content induced by hypoxia in both HUVECs and hiPSC-CMs in vitro.Conclusions:MLB significantly enhanced the potential of hiPSC-CMs in repairing injured myocardium by improving endothelial cell function via the NF-κB/ICAM1 pathway and inhibiting hiPSC-CMs apoptosis via the DUSP2/STAT3 pathway.

文摘Cardiac conduction regulatory RNA(CCRR)has been documented as an antiarrhythmic lncRNA in our earlier investigation.This study aimed to evaluate the effects of CCRR on SERCA2a and the associated Ca^(2+)homeostasis in myocardial infarction(MI).Overexpression of CCRR via AAV9-mediated delivery not only partially reversed ischemia-induced contractile dysfunction but also alleviated abnormal Ca^(2+)homeostasis and reduced the heightened methylation level of SERCA2a following MI.These effects were also observed in CCRR overexpressing transgenic mice.A conserved sequence domain of CCRR mimicked the protective function observed with the full length.Furthermore,silencing CCRR in healthy mice led to intracellular Ca^(2+)overloading of cardiomyocytes.CCRR increased SERCA2a protein stability by upregulating FTO expression.The direct interaction between CCRR and FTO protein was characterized by RNA-binding protein immunoprecipitation(RIP)analysis and RNA pulldown experiments.Activation of NFATc3 was identified as an upstream mechanism responsible for CCRR downregulation in MI.This study demonstrates that CCRR is a protective lncRNA that acts by maintaining the function of FTO,thereby reducing the m^(6)A RNA methylation level of SERCA2a,ultimately preserving calcium homeostasis for myocardial contractile function in MI.Therefore,CCRR may be considered a promising therapeutic strategy with a beneficial role in cardiac pathology.

文摘A new species,Wandesia(s.str.)boyani Li&Guo,sp.nov.,is described and illustrated in detail,which is collected from Qinghai-Tibet plateau,P.R.China,and represents a newly recorded subfamily Wandesiinae(Acari:Hydrachnidiae:Hydryphantidae)to Chinese fauna.The new species is distinguished from its congeners by having stalked acetabula ranged triangularly,developed pregenital sclerite lily-like,E4 at the middle of Ac-1 and Ac-2.

文摘Objective Pregnancy has been identified as a risk factor for pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD).The aim of this study was to establish primary prevention measures for PFD during pregnancy and reduce the overall incidence of PFD.Methods We assembled a panel of 36 experts,including gynecologists,obstetricians,and physiotherapists.Through surveys and expert meetings,the panel reviewed and assessed the safety and effectiveness of various clinical interventions.Based on expert comments from Round 1,a revised list of 8 clinical interventions was developed and submitted for a second round of expert review.Results A consensus was reached on the importance of implementing prevention measures to protect pelvic floor function during pregnancy.Experts particularly emphasized the significance of health education,weight management,pelvic floor muscle training,respiratory training,overall exercise,physical activity,and perineal massage.Conclusion The expert consensus provides comprehensive clinical measures to safeguard pelvic floor function during pregnancy.This paper represents the initial step toward developing scientific recommendations for pregnant women regarding the primary prevention of PFD.Future research should focus on the implementation of these recommendations in clinical practice.

文摘A new species of Torrenticola(Acari:Hydrachnidia)is reported from China,namely T.(T.)gladiusirostrum Jia,Gu&Guo,sp.nov.And T.(Megapalpis)distans K.O.Viets,1981 is recorded in China for the first time.Both descriptions and illustrations of these species are provided.The new species is characteristic by:dorsal plate arrangement 2+1;infracapitular bay U-shaped,deep and wide,V2 almost at same level of Ap;gnathosoma ventral apodeme short and blunt,rostrum flat and sword-shaped;P-2 and P-3 ventral processes smooth and pointed,and P-2 ventral process curved upwards,P-4 with two ventral extensions.

文摘It is well known that calcium oxide (CaO) has better catalytic efficiency than most heterogeneous catalysts in many transesterification reactions. However, the gradual deactivation problem prevents its large-scale application in industry. In this paper, the deactivation mechanism of CaO in a fixed-bed reactor is investigated based on the transesterification reaction of propylene carbonate and methanol. The leaching amount of CaO during the reaction was estimated by the concentration of Ca in the products. The pretreated and recovered catalysts were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TG-MS and SEM-EDS. It is evident from experiments and characterization that the deactivation process of CaO is accompanied by the leaching of calcium species and the generation of CaCO3, which are also verified by DFT calculations. At high temperature and high weight hourly space velocity, the deactivation was attributed to the formation of dense CaCO3 shell, which prevents the contact between the feedstock and the active species inside.
文摘acid (ABA) is the key plant stress hormone. Consistent with the earlier studies in support of the presence of both membrane- and cytoplasm-localized ABA receptors, recent studies have identified multi- ple ABA receptors located in various subcellular locations. These include a chloroplast envelope-localized receptor (the H subunit of Chloro- plast Mg2+-chelatase/ABA Receptor), two plasma membrane-localized receptors (G-protein Coupled Receptor 2 and GPCR-type G proteins), and one cytosol/nucleus-localized Pyrabactin Resistant (PYR)/PYR-Like (PYL)/Regulatory Component of ABA Receptor 1 (RCAR). Although the downstream molecular events for most of the identified ABA receptors are currently unknown, one of them, PYR/PYL/RCAR was found to directly bind and regulate the activity of a long-known central regulator of ABA signaling, the A-group protein phosphatase 2C (PP2C). Together with the Sucrose Non-fermentation Kinase Subfamily 2 (SnRK2s) protein kinases, a central signaling complex (ABA-PYR-PP2Cs-SnRK2s) that is responsible for ABA signal perception and transduction is supported by abundant genetic, physiological, biochemical and structural evidence. The identification of multiple ABA receptors has advanced our understanding of ABA signal perception and transduction while adding an extra layer of complexity.

文摘Sn-10Sb-5Cu lead-free solder was fabricated for high temperature application in electronic package. Wetting behaviors and interfacial reaction between such a high temperature lead-free solder and Cu substrate were investigated and compared with those of 95Pb-Sn solder. The results showed that the wetting properties of Sn-10Sb-SCu solder are superior to those of 95Pb-Sn solder in maximum wetting force, wetting time and wetting angle in the temperature range of 340-400℃. However, the surface of the Sn-10Sb-5Cu solder sample after wetting balance tests was rougher than that of 95Pb-Sn solder at the temperature lower than 360℃. In static liquid-state interracial reaction, the types and thickness of the intermetallic compounds (IMCs) of both solders were different from each other. The wetting kinetics in the Sn-10Sb-5Cu/Cu system was more rapid than that in 95Pb-Sn/Cu system, and the higher formation rate of IMCs in the former system was considered as the reason.

文摘Diapause,an important strategy used by insects to avoid adverse environments,is regulated by various cell signaling pathways.The results of our previous studies demonstrated that the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)signaling pathway regulated pupal diapause in Helicoverpa armigera,which was accompanied by downregulation of proteins in TGF-βsignaling.However,to date the mechanism underlying this phenomenon remains unknown.Here,we cloned the E3 ubiquitin ligases gene Smurf.In vitro experiments showed that Smurf directly bound to TGF-βreceptor type I(TGFβRI)and Smad2.Overexpressing Smurf promoted ubiquitination of TGFβRI and Smad2,thereby downregulating their protein levels.Conversely,silencing of the Smurf gene suppressed ubiquitination of TGFβRI and Smad2 thereby increasing their protein levels.Results from in vivo co-immunoprecipitation assays revealed that the binding of Smurf to TGFβRI or Smad2 was stronger in diapause pupae than in nondiapause pupae.Injection of Smurf inhibitor A01 into diapause pupae markedly upregulated expression of TGFβRI and Smad2 proteins,leading to resumption of development in diapause pupae.Taken together,these findings suggested that ubiquitin ligase E3 Smurf participated in H.armigera diapause by regulating TGF-βsignaling,and thus could be playing a crucial role in insect diapause.
