Two magnetic monopole models (i.e., model (I, II)) are presented to discuss the energy resources problem based on magnetic monopole catalytic nuclear decay in massive white dwarfs. We find that the luminosities for most of massive white dwarfs increase as the temperature increases. The luminosities of model (II) are agreed well with those of the observations at relativistic high temperature (e.g., T6=1,10), However, the luminosities of the observations can be five orders of magnitude larger than those of model (I). 展开更多

In this paper,a honeycomb structure jet array with seven jet units was adopted to generate plasmas.Both the average discharge power and the emission intensity of the main excited species increase with increasing applied voltage.There are three stages of discharge evolution at different applied voltages:initial discharge,uniform discharge and strong coupling discharge.The spatial distribution of the emission intensity of the excited species can be divided into three categories:growth class,weakening class and variation class.The gas temperature along the whole plasma plume at different applied voltages is maintained at around 320 K and can be widely used in heat-labile applications. 展开更多

背景与目的小细胞肺癌(small cell lung cancer,SCLC)恶性程度高,异质性强,被称为难治性肿瘤。免疫治疗改变了广泛期SCLC(extensive-disease SCLC,ED-SCLC)的治疗格局,但受益人群有限,因此,寻找新的治疗措施是目前SCLC亟待解决的临床问... 背景与目的小细胞肺癌(small cell lung cancer,SCLC)恶性程度高,异质性强,被称为难治性肿瘤。免疫治疗改变了广泛期SCLC(extensive-disease SCLC,ED-SCLC)的治疗格局,但受益人群有限,因此,寻找新的治疗措施是目前SCLC亟待解决的临床问题。SCLC具有高度活跃的糖酵解代谢特征,而丙酮酸激酶M1(pyruvate kinase M1,PKM1)是糖酵解途径中重要的限速酶PK的同工酶之一。研究表明PKM1与自噬及药物敏感性有关,但PKM1如何调控SCLC药物敏感性及其作用机制尚不清楚。本研究旨在探讨PKM1在SCLC中的生物学功能,包括PKM1对SCLC的增殖、迁移、自噬、药物敏感性及神经内分泌(neuroendocrine,NE)相关标志物表达的影响。方法应用Western blot检测SCLC细胞中PKM1的表达水平;通过慢病毒稳定转染构建PKM1基因过表达的SCLC细胞株,MTT法检测细胞增殖能力及药物敏感性,Transwell实验测定细胞迁移能力,流式细胞术检测细胞自噬水平,Western blot检测NE相关蛋白的表达水平。结果不同的SCLC细胞系PKM1表达具有差异性,H1092中PKM1表达较低(P<0.01)。与对照组相比,PKM1过表达的H1092细胞虽然增殖水平无明显差异,但迁移能力增高(P<0.001),药物敏感性降低,并且自噬水平受到抑制(P<0.001)。此外过表达PKM1可上调非神经内分泌(non-neuroendocrine,non-NE)相关蛋白表达(P<0.01),降低NE相关蛋白表达(P<0.01)。结论PKM1在SCLC细胞系中具有差异表达,PKM1高表达不影响SCLC的细胞增殖,但影响其迁移。PKM1可能通过抑制自噬,调节NE标志物的表达,从而影响药物敏感性,研究结果为探索PKM1在SCLC中的作用提供了理论依据。 展开更多

Thermal insulation materials play an increasingly important role in protecting mechanical parts functioning at high temperatures.In this study,a new porous high-entropy(La_(1/6)Ce_(1/6)Pr_(1/6)Sm_(1/6)Eu_(1/6)Gd_(1/6))PO_(4)(HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4))ceramics was prepared by combining the high-entropy method with the pore-forming agent method and the effect of different starch contents(0–60vol%)on this ceramic properties was systematically investigated.The results show that the porous HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4)ceramics with 60vol%starch exhibit the lowest thermal conductivity of 0.061 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)at room temperature and good pore structure stability with a linear shrinkage of approximately1.67%.Moreover,the effect of large regular spherical pores(>10μm)on its thermal insulation performance was discussed,and an optimal thermal conductivity prediction model was screened.The superior properties of the prepared porous HE(6RE_(1/6))PO_(4)ceramics allow them to be promising insulation materials in the future. 展开更多

Recent methodological advances in quantitative wood anatomy have provided new insights into the climatic responses of radial growth at the scale of cell structure of tree rings. This study considered long-term chronologies of tracheid measurements, indexed by a novel approach to separate their specific climatic responses from signal recorded in cell production(closely reflected in tree-ring width). To fill gaps in understanding the impact of climate on conifer xylem structure, Scots pine(Pinus sylvestris L.)trees > 200 years old were selected within the forest-steppe zone in southern Siberia. Such habitats undergo mild moisture deficits and the resulting climatic regulation of growth processes. Mean and maximum values of cell radial diameter and cell wall thickness were recorded for each tree ring.Despite a low level of climatogenic stress, components of cell chronologies independent of cambial activity were separated to obtain significant climatic signals revealing the timing of the specific stages of tracheid differentiation. Cell expansion lasted from mid-April to July and was impacted similarly to tree-ring width(stimulated by precipitation and stressed by heat), maximum cell size formed late June. A switch in the climatic responses of mean anatomical traits indicated transition to latewood in mid-July. Secondary wall deposition lasted until mid-September, suppressed by end of season temperatures. Generally, anatomical climatic responses were modulated by a less dry May and September compared with summer months. 展开更多

Monolithic textured perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells(TSCs)are expected to achieve maximum light capture at the lowest cost,potentially exhibiting the best power conversion efficiency.However,it is challenging to fabricate high-quality perovskite films and preferred crystal orientation on commercially textured silicon substrates with micrometersize pyramids.Here,we introduced a bulky organic molecule(4-fluorobenzylamine hydroiodide(F-PMAI))as a perovskite additive.It is found that F-PMAI can retard the crystallization process of perovskite film through hydrogen bond interaction between F^(−)and FA^(+)and reduce(111)facet surface energy due to enhanced adsorption energy of F-PMAI on the(111)facet.Besides,the bulky molecular is extruded to the bottom and top of perovskite film after crystal growth,which can passivate interface defects through strong interaction between F-PMA+and undercoordinated Pb^(2+)/I^(−).As a result,the additive facilitates the formation of large perovskite grains and(111)preferred orientation with a reduced trap-state density,thereby promoting charge carrier transportation,and enhancing device performance and stability.The perovskite/silicon TSCs achieved a champion efficiency of 30.05%based on a silicon thin film tunneling junction.In addition,the devices exhibit excellent longterm thermal and light stability without encapsulation.This work provides an effective strategy for achieving efficient and stable TSCs. 展开更多

New Insight into Magnetic Monopoles in Astrophysical Application

In this paper, we mainly review our previous works on a magnetic-monopole toy model, in which the energy resources come from nucleon decay catalyzed by magnetic monopoles. Utilizing this unified model, we have explained various supernova explosion and gamma ray bursts, extra heat at the centers of white dwarfs and the earth. The unusually strong radial magnetic field near the Galactic Center (GC) is quantitatively consistent with our theoretical prediction in 2001. It may be strong astronomical observational evidence of the presence of magnetic monopoles predicted by particle physics. Using the masses of 100,000 quasars observed by SLOAN with various red-shifts due to the black hole, according to the popular black hole accretion model, we estimate the initial mass of quasars when they born in early universe. It is found that most low-red-shifting quasars have an initial mass of negative or very small values. However, based on our proposed model of super massive stars with magnetic monopoles, the statistical distribution of the initial mass for these quasars should be a reasonable Gaussian distribution. This suggests that the modern model of black holes in the quasars and active galactic nucleus may be unreasonable. 展开更多

目的:探讨临床淋巴结阴性患者新辅助化疗(neoadjuvant chemotherapeutic,NAC)与前哨淋巴结活检(sentinel lymph node biopsy,SLNB)的最佳时机,评估临床淋巴结阳性患者行NAC后腋窝降阶梯手术可能获益人群。方法:回顾性分析2010年10月至2... 目的:探讨临床淋巴结阴性患者新辅助化疗(neoadjuvant chemotherapeutic,NAC)与前哨淋巴结活检(sentinel lymph node biopsy,SLNB)的最佳时机,评估临床淋巴结阳性患者行NAC后腋窝降阶梯手术可能获益人群。方法:回顾性分析2010年10月至2017年11月山东大学附属山东省肿瘤医院收治206例行NAC患者的临床病理资料,分析分子分型与腋窝淋巴结病理完全缓解(axillary nodal pathologic complete response,apCR)的关系。结果:206例行NAC患者中183例为临床淋巴结阳性,apCR为33.3%(61/183)。Luminal型HER-2阴性患者apCR为19.8%(17/86),与HER-2阳性行靶向治疗患者apCR的62.1%(18/29)、HER-2阳性未行靶向治疗的34.5%(10/29)及三阴性乳腺癌(triple-negative breast cancer,TNBC)的41.0%(16/39)相比显著降低,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.001)。23例临床淋巴结阴性患者行NAC后前哨淋巴结阳性率为26.1%(6/23),Luminal型HER-2阴性、TNBC和HER-2阳性患者前哨淋巴结阳性率分别为36.4%(4/11)、25.0%(1/4)和12.5%(1/8)。结论:分子分型与行NAC后的apCR相关。对临床淋巴结阴性的Luminal型HER-2阴性患者,NAC前行SLNB可避免腋窝淋巴结清扫,对临床淋巴结阴性的TNBC和HER-2阳性患者,建议NAC后行SLNB。临床淋巴结阳性且行NAC降期转阴的TNBC和HER-2阳性患者,从NAC后的腋窝降阶梯手术中可能获益更多。 展开更多

Pollen germination on the surface of compatible stigmatic tissues is an essential step for plant fertilization. Here we report that the Arabidopsis mutant bcll is male sterile as a result of the failure ofpollen germination. We show that the bcll mutant allele cannot be transmitted by male gametophytes and no homozygous bcll mutants were obtained. Analysis of pollen developmental stages indicates that the bcll mutation affects pollen germination but not pollen maturation. Molecular analysis demonstrates that the failure of pollen germination was caused by the disruption of AtBECLIN 1. AtBECLIN 1 is expressed predominantly in mature pollen and encodes a protein with significant homology to Beclin1/Atg6/Vps30 required for the processes of autophagy and vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) in yeast. We also show that AtBECLIN 1 is required for normal plant development, and that genes related to autophagy, VPS and the glycosylphosphatidylinositol anchor system, were affected by the deficiency of AtBECLIN 1. 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to identify and validate circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) in human plasma for use as breast cancer (BC) biomarkers and to analyze their relationship to clinicopathologic features and its preliminary biological function. Genome-wide expression profiling of miRNAs in BC was investigated by microarray analysis, miR-155 was up-regulated greater than two-fold in BC compared with Normal Adjacent Tissue (NAT), whereas let-7b, miR-381, miR-10b, miR-125a-Sp, miR-335, miR-205 and miR-145 were down- regulated greater than two-fold. Our hypothesis was that circulating miRNAs are also present and differentially expressed in the serum of BC patients compared to controls. Using real-time PCR (RT-PCR), we analyzed miR-205 and miR-155 in archived serum from 30 participants, 20 with breast cancer and I0 healthy people, miR-205 was down-regulated in BC patient serum while miR-155 was up-regulated. Furthermore, we analyzed the relationship between the expression levels of these two miRNAs and the clinicopathologic parameters of BC patients. High expression of miR155 was associated with clinical stage, molecular type, Ki-67 and p53 in BC patients (P〈0.05). By contrast, we found no significant correlation between miR-205 and BC patient clinicopathologic parameters. Functional analysis showed that ectopic expression of miR-205 significantly inhibits cell proliferation and promotes apoptosis, miR-205 was down- regulated and miR-155 was up-regulated in BC patient serum, miR-155 was positive correlated with clinical stage and 16-67 and negatively correlated with p53 status. 展开更多

Two types of spinel cathode powders, LiMn2O4 and LiAl0.1Mn1.9O3.9F0.1, were synthesized by solid-state reaction, X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns of the prepared samples were identified as the spinel structure with a space group of Fd 3^- m. The cubic lattice parameter was determined from least-squares fitting of the XRD data. The LiAl0.1Mn1.9O3.9F0.1 sample showed a little lower initial capacity, but better cycling performance than the LiMn2O4 sample at both room temperature and an elevated temperature. The Vanderbilt method was used to test the electrochemical conductivity of the LiMn2O4 samples. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) method was employed to investigate the electrochemical properties of these spinel LiMn2O4 samples. 展开更多
