Objective: To understand the current situation of prehospital first aid knowledge, attitude and behavior of university students in Jingzhou City. Methods: A prehospital first aid knowledge questionnaire and the convenience sampling method were used to survey 307 university students in Jingzhou City. Results: The mean score of prehospital first aid knowledge of university students in Jingzhou City was 12.85 ± 2.643, the mean score of attitude was 50.73 ± 4.114, and the mean score of behavior was 39.05 ± 8.898;There was a statistically significant difference in the scores of prehospital first aid knowledge, attitude, and behavior of university students depending on whether or not they had received prehospital first aid training (P P Conclusion: Jingzhou University students have a positive attitude toward pre-hospital first aid, but the knowledge level and behavior are low, which suggests that the government, society and the school should create good conditions to promote the improvement of pre-hospital first aid knowledge and ability. 展开更多

Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)IDH1 antisense RNA 1(IDH1-AS1)is involved in the progression of multiple cancers,but its role in epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC)is unknown.Therefore,we investigated the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 in EOC cells and normal ovarian epithelial cells by quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR).We first evaluated the effects of IDH1-AS1 on the proliferation,migration,and invasion of EOC cells through cell counting kit-8,colony formation,EdU,transwell,wound-healing,and xenograft assays.We then explored the downstream targets of IDH1-AS1 and verified the results by a dual-luciferase reporter,qPCR,rescue experiments,and Western blotting.We found that the expression levels of IDH1-AS1 were lower in EOC cells than in normal ovarian epithelial cells.High IDH1-AS1 expression of EOC patients from the Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis database indicated a favorable prognosis,because IDH1-AS1 inhibited cell proliferation and xenograft tumor growth of EOC.IDH1-AS1 sponged miR-518c-5p whose overexpression promoted EOC cell proliferation.The miR-518c-5p mimic also reversed the proliferation-inhibiting effect induced by IDH1-AS1 overexpression.Furthermore,we found that RNA binding motif protein 47(RBM47)was the downstream target of miR-518c-5p,that upregulation of RBM47 inhibited EOC cell proliferation,and that RBM47 overexpressing plasmid counteracted the proliferation-promoting effect caused by the IDH1-AS1 knockdown.Taken together,IDH1-AS1 may suppress EOC cell proliferation and tumor growth via the miR-518c-5p/RBM47 axis. 展开更多

Virtual Reality-Based Mirror Therapy for Upper Extremity Function among Stroke Patients:A Meta-analysis and Systematic Review

[Objectives]To investigate the evidence-based effect of virtual reality-based mirror therapy system(VR-MT)on upper extremity function among stroke patients.[Methods]A systematic electronic searching of the Medline,PubMed,Web of Science and CNKI was initially performed up to June 10,2024.The risk of bias of the included studies was evaluated using RevMan 5.4 software based on the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews.The random-effects model or fixed-effects models was employed to estimate the standardized mean difference(SMD).The subgroup analyses were conducted exploring theVR-MT type(immersive or non-immersive)and comparing with MT or control group.[Results]In total 8 studies with a total of 273 stroke patients were included in this review.The pooled analysis of these trials showed a statistically significant enhancement inFMA-UE scores(6 studies,SMD=0.72,[95%CI 0.37 to 1.06];P<0.0001,I^(2)=31%)and Box and Block Test(BBT)(3 studies,SMD=0.49,[95%C/0.05 to 0.93];P=0.03,I^(2)=0%),rather than Manual Function Test(MFT)scores(3 studies,SMD=0.38,[95%CI-0.09 to 0.84];P=0.11,I^(2)=0%)following the application of reality-based mirror therapy.Additionally,the subgroup analysis results indicated that immersive VR-MT can significantly improve FMA-UE(5studies,SMD=0.73,[95%CI 0.24 to 1.23];P=0.004,I^(2)=43%).In contrast,the overall effect of non-immersive VR-MT was non-significant(2 studies,SMD=0.33,[95%CI-0.69 to 1.34];P=0.53,I^(2)=72%).[Conclusions]In this systematic review and meta-analysis,our findings indicate that immersiveVR-MT has the potential to improve upper extremity function among stroke patients. 展开更多

Objective: To explore graduation practical ability assessment mode of graduate students in nursing (Master of Nursing Specialist, MNS). Methods: All 28 MNS 2020th graduate students in a university were selected as subjects by convenient sampling method, using the improved 4-station objective structured examination (Objective Structured Clinical Examination, OSCE) model. The assessment content included nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, basic nursing operation, specialist nursing operation, theoretical written test and oral test and overall evaluation. And self-made questionnaire was used to evaluate the effect of the assessment model and the improvement of clinical practice ability of graduate students. Results: The overall satisfaction rate of graduation assessment was 89.51%, the overall satisfaction rate of graduation assessment mode and practical ability improvement evaluation was 84.66%, the pass rate of assessment results was 100%, and the excellent rate was 71.42%. Conclusion: The MNS graduation practical ability assessment model has a high degree of satisfaction, objectively evaluates the knowledge, skills, attitudes and emotions of graduate students, promotes the comprehensive quality and ability of graduate students, which is worthy of promotion. 展开更多

远端转移是晚期非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer,NSCLC)患者难以避免的并发症,脑转移(brain metastases,BM)是此类患者最常见的转移部位之一。脑转移患者可能出现头痛、视物模糊、偏瘫、肢体麻木等症状,生存质量受到严重影响... 远端转移是晚期非小细胞肺癌(non-small cell lung cancer,NSCLC)患者难以避免的并发症,脑转移(brain metastases,BM)是此类患者最常见的转移部位之一。脑转移患者可能出现头痛、视物模糊、偏瘫、肢体麻木等症状,生存质量受到严重影响。脑转移患者通常预后较差,自然中位生存期仅有3个月左右。传统上,针对驱动基因阴性NSCLC脑转移的治疗策略有局部干预的外科手术、放射治疗及系统性干预的化疗等,而有明确基因突变如EGFR、ALK、ROS1等的患者可采用新一代靶向药物治疗,但两类患者颅内治疗疗效均欠佳。免疫检查点抑制剂(immune checkpoint inhibitors,ICIs)的出现为晚期肺癌的治疗带来新希望,其在黑色素瘤及肺癌脑转移患者中观察到了一定疗效。脑转移瘤的血管与正常脑血管存在显著差异。不同于肺部原发病灶,脑转移瘤具有独特的肿瘤微环境、免疫细胞特征及血管结构,无论是免疫单药治疗还是免疫联合治疗对肺癌脑转移患者均有效。由于难以获得脑组织样本,免疫治疗的生物标志物的研究受到限制。除了肿瘤细胞程序性死亡-配体1(programmed cell death ligand-1,PD-L1)外,肿瘤突变负荷(tumor mutation burden,TMB)可能是预测免疫治疗疗效的潜在生物标志物。本文梳理脑部肿瘤的微环境特征,回顾ICIs治疗相关研究进展,拟为驱动基因阴性NSCLC脑转移患者的治疗提供参考。 展开更多

AIM: To study the protective effects and mechanisms of Se-enriched lactobacillus on liver injury caused by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) in mice. METHODS: Seventy-two ICR mice were randomly divided into four groups: normal group, CCl4-induced model group, low Se-enriched lactobacillus treatment group (L-Se group), and high Se-enriched lactobacillus treatment group (H-Se group). During a 3-wk experimental period, the common complete diet was orally provided daily for normal group and model group, and the mice in L-Se and H-Se groups were given a diet with 2 and 4 mg of organoselenium from Se-enriched lactobacillus per kg feed, respectively. From the 2nd wk of experiment, the model group, L-Se group, and H-Se group received abdominal cavity injection of olive oil solution containing 500 mL/L CCl4 (0.07 mL/100 g body mass) to induce liver injury, and the normal group was given olive oil on every other day for over 2 wk. In the first 2 wk post injection with CCl4, mice in each group were killed. The specimens of blood, liver tissue, and macrophages in abdominal cavity fluid were taken. Then the activities of the following liver tissue injury-associated enzymes including glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), superoxide dismutase (SOD), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) as well as malondialdehyde (MDA) content were assayed. Changes of phagocytic rate and phagocytic index in macrophages were observed with Wright-Giemsa stain. Plasma TNF-α level was measured by radioimmunoassay. The level of intracellular free Ca^2+ ([Ca^2+]i) in hepatocytes was detected under a laser scanning confocal microscope. RESULTS: During the entire experimental period, the AST and ALT activities in liver were greatly enhanced by CCl4 and completely blunted by both low and high doses of Se-enriched lactobacillus. The Se-enriched lactobacillus- protected liver homogenate GSH-Px and SOD activities were higher or significantly higher than those in model group and were close to those in normal group. CCl4 significantly increased MDA content in liver homogenates, while administration of Se-enriched lactobacillus prevented MDA elevation. Phagocytic rate and phagocytic index of macrophages decreased after CCl4 treatment compared to those in normal control, but they were dramatically rescued by Se-enriched lactobacillus, showing a greatly higher phagocytic function compared to model group. CCl4 could significantly elevate plasma TNF-α and hepatocyte [Ca^2+]i level, which were also obviously prevented by Se-enriched lactobacillus. CONCLUSION: Se-enriched lactobacillus can intervene in CCl4-induced liver injury in mice by enhancing macrophage function activity to keep normal and beneficial effects, elevating antioxidant-enzyme activities and reducing lipid peroxidation reaction, inhibiting excessive release of TNF-α, preventing the dramatic elevation of [Ca^2+]i in hepatocytes. 展开更多

目的:分析翼状胬肉切除联合自体角膜缘干细胞移植术(LSCT)和羊膜移植术(AMT)治疗翼状胬肉的疗效观察。方法:前瞻性对照研究。将2017-01/2020-01在本院眼科门诊就诊的177例187眼翼状胬肉连续病例按随机区组设计原则分为A组(59例64眼)、B... 目的:分析翼状胬肉切除联合自体角膜缘干细胞移植术(LSCT)和羊膜移植术(AMT)治疗翼状胬肉的疗效观察。方法:前瞻性对照研究。将2017-01/2020-01在本院眼科门诊就诊的177例187眼翼状胬肉连续病例按随机区组设计原则分为A组(59例64眼)、B组(59例60眼)、C组(59例63眼)三组,三组均行翼状胬肉切除,A组联合LSCT、B组联合AMT、C组联合LSCT和AMT,术后均随访12mo;比较三组视力、角膜上皮修复及新生血管情况,并统计术后复发率、眼部症状、并发症及植片成活情况。结果:三组术后6、12mo时的视力及角膜上皮缺损修复时间均无差异(P>0.05),术后1mo时C组角膜荧光素染色(FL)值显著低于A组、B组(均P<0.05);三组患者角膜透明或有轻度薄翳,但均未见新生血管生长;三组均未见真性翼状胬肉复发现象,术后6、12mo时A组、C组结膜纤维增生分级与B组比较均有差异(P<0.05);三组SchirmerⅠ试验滤纸湿长的时间、组间及交互效应均无差异(P>0.05),但C组术后1mo泪膜破裂时间(BUT)显著高于A组、B组(均P<0.05);三组术后均有不同程度结膜水肿,拆线后2wk内均消失,三组植片均成活,羊膜存活,未见发生排斥、溶解反应。结论:LSCT、AMT、LSCT联合AMT治疗翼状胬肉均可取得良好的疗效,但LSCT联合AMT治疗术后短期角膜上皮修复相对更佳,结膜纤维增生及干眼症状更轻。 展开更多

Salvia dugesii is an invasive plant in Yunnan,China.To tentatively explore its utilization,a systematic phytochemical investigation was carried out on this plant,which led to the isolation of five new neo-clerodane diterpenoids,dugesins C-G(1-5),together with six known ones.Their structures were determined by comprehensive NMR and MS spectroscopic analysis.It was noteworthy that the eleven isolates,composed of five different carbocyclic systems derived from the neo-clerodane diterpenoid skeleton,were reported from the same plant for the first time.The anti-feedantial,cytotoxic,and antiviral activities of the isolates were evaluated.Dugesin F(4)was tested to be a non-toxic antiviral compound against influenza virus FM1. 展开更多

Polylactic acid(PLA)has been extensively applied in the fields of biology and renewable biodegradable materials because of its superior biodegradability.PLA has excellent potential as a renewable biodegradable adsorbent in wastewater treatment.However,its poor photocatalytic properties have hindered its practical application.In this study,polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVPP)or glutaraldehyde(GA)was utilized as an adhesive agent to prepare Ag/AgCl/PLA photocatalysts with highly efficient visible light photocatalysis on a PLA fabric by utilizing the electron beam irradiation method.The photocatalytic activities of the Ag/AgCl/PLA samples were examined under visible light irradiation to analyze the degradation of methylene blue(MB)and chloramphenicol(CPL).Our experimental results demonstrate that the nanomaterial Ag/AgCl was uniformly distributed on the PLA fiber surface;this can be attributed to the effects of the crosslinking PVPP or GA.Under electron beam irradiation,adding crosslinking PVPP(or GA)is beneficial to the loading of Ag/AgCl onto the PLA.For the composite Ag/AgCl/PLA,the degradation rate for MB was as high as 97% after 150 min of visible light irradiation.The addition of 4 mg/ml of Ag/AgCl solution resulted in the greatest photocatalytic activity for CPL,and we advanced the possible degradation pathways of CPL with the best sample.Additionally,the as-prepared composite Ag/Ag Cl/PLA exhibited favorable antibacterial activity against E.coli and S.aureus,with a bacterial removal rate of >77%. 展开更多

Cotton fibers are the main raw materials of the textile industry.Exogenous superior fiber genes have been introduced into upland cotton to develop high-yield cultivars with excellent fiber quality.We used a single chromosomal segment on the chromosome A07 substitution line SL7,with high fiber strength,to investigate the molecular mechanism underlying its fiber quality.RNA-seq and KEGG analysis showed that 70 differentially expressed genes were enriched in plant hormone transduction pathways,including auxin,ethylene and abscisic acid,in fibers at 10 days post-anthesis(DPA).Among these,fiberdevelopment related transcription factors MYB and NAC,including Gh_A11G0981(MYB108),Gh_A03G0887(NAC029),and Gh_A08G1691(NAC021),were significantly upregulated in SL7,as were numerous cellulose synthase-like(CSL)genes involved in non-cellulose polysaccharide and cell wall synthesis.The hemicellulose content of SL7 was significantly higher than that of L22,an upland cotton cultivar.These results suggest that key genes in the introgressed chromosomal segment of SL7 regulate the expression of transcription-factor genes via hormone-transduction pathways,thereby inducing the expression of genes involved in secondary wall synthesis and ultimately improving fiber quality.This study has shed light on the molecular mechanism of fiber development and will contribute to the improvement of fiber quality of upland cotton by molecular breeding. 展开更多

Reviews The Dectin-1 cluster comprises seven members:CLEC-12A,CLEC-12B,CLEC-1A,CLEC-7A,CLEC-2,CLEC-9A and OLR1.These members have been demonstrated to be involved in the tumorigenesis,progression,and metastasis of several cancers.However,little is known about their roles in human lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD).The expression patterns of the Dectin-1 cluster were analyzed via the ONCOMINE and GEPIA databases.We evaluated the prognostic value of the Dectin-1 cluster in patients with LUAD using the Kaplan-Meier plotter and GEPIA.Differential expression was validated with the EMBL-EBI database,and protein expression was analyzed with the HPA database.In addition,protein-protein interaction network,GO,and KEGG analyses were conducted.Finally,the correlations between CLEC-12A and immune molecules(immune inhibitors and MHC molecules)were investigated via TISIDB and GEPIA.The expression levels of Dectin-1 cluster genes were downregulated in LUAD tissues compared to those in normal lung tissues.The expression levels of CLEC-12A,CLEC-12B,CLEC-2,and CLEC-9A correlated with tumor stage,and CLEC-12A and CLEC-12B were significantly associated with survival in patients with LUAD.The seven genes mostly participated in immune regulation processes and were involved in autoimmune disorders and hematological malignancies.Finally,correlation analyses revealed CLEC-12A expression was associated with most immune inhibitors and MHCs.CLEC-12A was positively related to PD-1,PD-L1,PD-L2,CTLA4,TIM3,and LAG3.In conclusion,our findings suggest that CLEC-12A and CLEC-12B can be used as prognostic biomarkers in LUAD.CLEC-12A expression was associated with immune checkpoint molecules,and CLEC-12A may be a potential assistant target to improve the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors immunotherapy. 展开更多

Despite the advances in the therapeutic approaches, health care protocols and policies, sepsis continues to be an important problem in clinical medicine. High lethality of sepsis cases calls for a detailed and critically important study of the pathophysiology of sepsis. In this review, we discuss pathomechanisms of sepsis and the role of cytokines that are released in sepsis. We propose that the systemic levels of cytokines are not always reflecting the pathological picture and the immune status of the patient. One of the emerging approaches which may bring an effective treatment strategy exploits the endocannabinoid system for its immunomodulatory properties. Following from that, the research in this particular field is very important as it can bring understanding behind the complicated pathophysiology of sepsis. 展开更多

By employing a radio frequency(RF) feedback chain, the self-interference can be canceled efficiently in co-time co-frequency full duplex(CCFD). However, the evitable signal crosstalk which is caused by the imperfect RF feedback chain isolation usually damages the self-interference cancelation(SIC) performance. To deal with this problem, firstly, we analyze the impact of RF feedback chain isolation on SIC performance. Then a digital preprocessing scheme with RF feedback chain is proposed in the multiple-antenna CCFD architecture. Using both analytical and experimental methods, we find that the proposed scheme achieves a better performance on SIC. 展开更多
