In this study, a track-structure Monte Carlo simulation code using the dielectric theory was developed to simulate the transport of electrons below 50 keV in gold. In this code, modifications, particularly for elastic scattering, are implemented for a more precise description of the LEE emission in secondary electron emission. This code was validated using the secondary electron yield and backscattering coefficient. To ensure dosimetry accuracy, we further verified the code for energy deposition calculations using the Monte Carlo toolkit, Geant4. The development of this code provides a basis for future studies regarding the role of AuNPs in targeted radionuclide radiotherapy.展开更多

The present study aimed to reveal the potential molecular mechanisms of SAA/TLR4 induction of angiogenesis through NETs in RA. Materials and methods: Firstly, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence were used to determinate TLR4 and NETs expression in synovial tissue, respectively. ELISA was used to detect the content of SAA, MPO and NE in serum and synovial fluid of patients. DNA quantification was done by fluorescence. DNA fluorescence staining was used to compare NETs formation in RA and HC sera, and to investigate the mechanism of NETs formation induced by SAA stimulation. PicoGreen DNA testing was used to characterize the DNA in the supernatants. Also, DNA fluorescence staining to explore whether NETs formation induced by SAA was dependent or independent on NADPH oxidase pathway. MTT assay, Wound healing assay, Tube formation assay were performed to analyze human veins umbilical cells (HUVECs) proliferation, migration, and tube vessels formation, respectively under NETs or NETs + DNase stimulants. Results: Firstly, we demonstrated that TLR4 was predominantly and widely expressed in synovial tissues with elevated serum levels of SAA, compared to osteoarthritis (OA) patients, and the similar results were observed for NETs formation. Afterwards, in a series of in vitro experiments, we reported an increased MPO and NE levels, and a relatively decreased DNA level in the sera of RA patients. Set apart, the levels of MPO and NE in RA were correlated to the disease activity. Moreover, an increased spontaneous NETs formation was observed in RA patients, enhanced under SAA stimulation and regulated by TLR4 activation. And the total DNA expressed in RA patients was partly composed of NET-DNA. Also, SAA induced NETs formation dependent on NADPH pathway. Finally, our results indicated that extracted SAA-induced NETs promoted endothelial cells (ECs) migration, proliferation, and vascular tube formation. Conclusion: Our current study highlighted the role of SAA/TLR4 interaction in the induction of angiogenesis through formed NETs. Therefore, this study offers new perspectives in the understanding of RA pathogenicity and its management.展开更多

文摘Full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides are catching lots of interest as the next generation cathode for lithium-ion batteries due to their high discharge voltage, reduced voltage decay and enhanced rate performance, whereas the high lithium residues on its surface impairs the structure stability and long-term cycle performance.Herein,a facile multifunctional surface modification method is implemented to eliminate surface lithium residues of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides by a wet chemistry reaction with tetrabutyl titanate and the post-annealing process. It realizes not only a stable Li_(2)TiO_(3)coating layer with 3D diffusion channels for fast Li^(+)ions transfer, but also dopes partial Ti^(4+)ions into the sub-surface region of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides to further strengthen its crystal structure.Consequently, the modified full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides exhibit improved structure stability, elevated thermal stability with decomposition temperature from 289.57℃to 321.72℃,and enhanced cycle performance(205.1 mAh g^(-1)after 150 cycles)with slowed voltage drop(1.67 mV per cycle). This work proposes a facile and integrated modification method to enhance the comprehensive performance of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides, which can facilitate its practical application for developing higher energy density lithium-ion batteries.

文摘A phased array feed(PAF)is a type of receiving array that places phased array antennas on the focal plane of a radio telescope to expand its field of view and improve observation efficiency.Owing to the mutual coupling effect between elements caused by a tightly arranged feed array, which changes the performance of a PAF,this paper presents a 7×7 rectangular feed array model for a 25 m reflector telescope.By adjusting the element spacings, the performance of a PAF with different spacings is comprehensively analyzed with respect to the mutual coupling effect via performance statistics and comparison. This research aims to provide a reference for the preliminary design of a related PAF.
文摘BACKGROUND Vascular and nerve infiltration are important indicators for the progression and prognosis of gastric cancer(GC),but traditional imaging methods have some limitations in preoperative evaluation. In recent years, energy spectrum computed tomography(CT)multiparameter imaging technology has been gradually applied in clinical practice because of its advantages in tissue contrast and lesion detail display.AIM To explore and analyze the value of multiparameter energy spectrum CT imaging in the preoperative assessment of vascular invasion(LVI)and nerve invasion(PNI)in GC patients.METHODS Data from 62 patients with GC confirmed by pathology and accompanied by energy spectrum CT scanning at our hospital between September 2022 and September 2023,including 46 males and 16 females aged 36-71(57.5±9.1)years,were retrospectively collected. The patients were divided into a positive group(42 patients)and a negative group(20 patients)according to the presence of LVI/PNI.The CT values(CT40 keV,CT70 keV),iodine concentration(IC),and normalized IC(NIC)of lesions in the upper energy spectrum CT images of the arterial phase, venous phase, and delayed phase 40 and 70 keV were measured, and the slopes of the energy spectrum curves[K(40-70)]from 40 to 70 keV were calculated.Arterial Core Tip:To investigate the application value of multiparameter energy spectrum computed tomography(CT)imaging in the preoperative assessment of vascular and nerve infiltration in patients with gastric cancer(GC).The imaging data of GC patients were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the accuracy and sensitivity of CT for identifying and quantifying vascular and nerve infiltration and for comparison with postoperative pathological results. The purpose of this study was to verify the clinical feasibility and potential advantages of multiparameter energy spectrum CT imaging in guiding preoperative diagnosis and treatment decision-making and to provide a new imaging basis for improving the diagnostic accuracy and prognosis of GC patients.
文摘BACKGROUND Acute gastric volvulus represents a rare form of surgical acute abdomen, which makes it difficult to establish an early diagnosis. As the disease progresses,it can lead to gastric ischemia, necrosis, and other serious complications.CASE SUMMARY This paper reports a 67-year-old female patient with a history of abdominal distension and retching for 1 day. After admission,a prompt and thorough exami-nation was performed to confirm the diagnosis of acute gastric volvulus.Notably, the patient had free air in the abdominal cavity. The first consideration was gastric volvulus with gastric perforation, but the patient had no complaints, such as abdominal pain or signs of peritoneal irritation in the abdomen, and imaging examination revealed no abdominal pelvic effusion.Following endoscopic reduc-tion,the abdominal organs, such as the stomach and spleen, returned to their normal anatomical positions, and the free intraperitoneal air disappeared,su-ggesting a rare case of acute gastric torsion. The source of free air within the abdominal cavity warrants careful consideration and discussion.Combined with the findings from computed tomography, these findings are hypothesized to be associated with the rupture of colonic air cysts.CONCLUSION Patients with gastric torsion combined with free gas in the abdominal cavity should consider nongastrointestinal perforation factors to avoid misdiagnosis.

文摘Combining GPS and BDS technology to monitor the deformation of long-span railway bridges with stricter deformation control requirements is of significance to the safety and control of the bridge and the safety of railway traffic.Previous studies have ignored the influence of coloured noise in the deformation time series. This is not conducive to accurate deformation analysis of long-span railway bridges. Therefore,GPS,BDS and GPS/BDS monitoring data of Ganjiang Bridge located in Ganzhou city,Jiangxi Province,China are adopted in this paper to filter the coloured noise in the deformation time series by principal component analysis(PCA),and the influence of coloured noise on the deformation analysis results of railway bridge is analysed. The experimental results show that the diurnal temperature difference causes the mid-span and the tower of the railway cable-stayed bridge to deform with a period of about one day in the vertical and longitudinal directions, respectively.Ignoring colored noise will make the uncertainty of the deformation parameter estimation overly optimistic.PCA can significantly reduce the coloured noise, and thus reduce the uncertainty of deformation parameter estimation by about 73%.Moreover,the average difference between the daily periodic motion amplitudes of the monitoring points obtained by using GPS and BDS deformation time series is 1.65 mm.The use of GPS/BDS deformation time series is not only helpful to reduce the influence of coloured noise, but also can reduce the difference between amplitude analysis results obtained from GPS and BDS deformation time series.

文摘The linear behavior of the dominant unstable mode(m=2,n=1)and its high order harmonics(m=2n,n≥2)are numerically investigated in a reversed magnetic shear cylindrical plasma with two q=2 rational surfaces on the basis of the non-reduced magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)equations. The results show that with low beta(beta is defined as the ratio of plasma pressure to magnetic field pressure),the dominant mode is a classical double tearing mode(DTM).However, when the beta is sufficiently large, the mode is driven mainly by plasma pressure. In such a case, both the linear growth rate and mode structures are strongly affected by pressure, while almost independent of the resistivity. This means that the dominant mode undergoes a transition from DTM to pressure-driven mode with the increase of pressure, which is consistent with the experimental result in ASDEX Upgrade. The simulations also show that the distance between two rational surfaces has an important influence on the pressure needed in mode transition. The larger the distance between two rational surfaces, the larger the pressure for driving the mode transition is.Motivated by the phenomena that the high-m modes may dominate over low-m modes at small inter-resonance distance, the high-m modes with different pressures and q profiles are studied too.

文摘BACKGROUND Primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma is a rare and aggressive condition with a poor prognosis. Its clinical presentation can be challenging to differentiate from benign prostatic hyperplasia.Given the rarity of primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma, its diagnosis and treatment remain unclear.CASE SUMMARY This report presents a case of a 57-year-old male with primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma, initially misdiagnosed as prostatic hyperplasia. This case's operative process, intraoperative findings and postoperative management are discussed in detail.CONCLUSION Primary prostate lymphoma is difficult to distinguish from other prostate diseases.Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate(HoLEP),a minimally invasive procedure,is crucial in diagnosing and treating this rare disease.Clinicians should remain vigilant and thoroughly combine physical examination, imaging and test results when encountering patients of younger age with small prostate size but a rapid progression of lower urinary tract symptoms.HoLEP is an essential diagnostic and therapeutic tool in managing primary prostate Burkitt's lymphoma.

文摘The forward kinematics of parallel robots is a challenging issue due to its highly coupled non‐linear relation among branch chains. This paper presents a novel approach to for-ward kinematics of parallel robots based on kernel extreme learning machine(KELM).To tackle with the forward kinematics solution of fully parallel robots, the forward ki-nematics solution of parallel robots is equivalently transformed into a machine learning model first. On this basis,a computational model combining sparrow search algorithm and KELM is then established, which can serve as both regression and classification.Based on SSA‐optimised KELM(SSA‐KELM)established in this study,a binary discriminator for judging the existence of the forward kinematics solution and a multi‐label regression model for predicting the forward kinematics solution are built to obtain the forward kinematics general solution of parallel robots with different structural configurations and parameters. To evaluate the proposed model,a numerical case on this dataset collected by the inverse kinematics model of a typical 6‐DOF parallel robot is conducted, followed by the results manifesting that the binary discriminator with the discriminant accuracy of 88.50%is superior over ELM,KELM,support vector machine and logistic regression. The multi‐label regression model, with the root mean squared error of 0.06 mm for the position and 0.15°for the orientation, outperforms the double‐hidden‐layer back propagation(2‐BP),ELM,KELM and genetic algorithm‐optimised KELM.Furthermore, numerical cases of parallel robots with different structural con-figurations and parameters are compared with state‐of‐the‐art models. Moreover, these results of numerical simulation and experiment on the host computer demonstrate that the proposed model displays its high precision, high robustness and rapid convergence, which provides a candidate for the forward kinematics of parallel robots.

文摘Considering the significance of low-energy electrons(LEEs;0–20 eV) in radiobiology, the sensitization potential of gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) as high-flux LEE emitters when irradiated with sub-keV electrons has been suggested. The development of this code provides a basis for future studies regarding the role of AuNPs in targeted radionuclide radiotherapy.
文摘Objective: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease in which angiogenesis represents a critical early event of synovial inflammation. Therefore, this study offers new perspectives in the understanding of RA pathogenicity and its management.

文摘Dynamical modeling of neural systems plays an important role in explaining and predicting some features of biophysical mechanisms. The electrophysiological environment inside and outside of the nerve cell is different.Due to the continuous and periodical properties of electromagnetic fields in the cell during its operation, electronic components involving two capacitors and a memristor are effective in mimicking these physical features. In this paper,a neural circuit is reconstructed by two capacitors connected by a memristor with periodical mem-conductance.It is found that the memristive neural circuit can present abundant firing patterns without stimulus. The Hamilton energy function is deduced using the Helmholtz theorem.Further,a neuronal network consisting of memristive neurons is proposed by introducing energy coupling. The controllability and flexibility of parameters give the model the ability to describe the dynamics and synchronization behavior of the system.

文摘The effect of the Y spacer layer on the phase composition, coercivity, and magnetization reversal processes of La-Nd-Fe-B films has been investigated. The addition of a 10 nm Y spacer layer increases the coercivity of the film to 1.36 T at 300 K and remains 0.938 T at 380 K.As the thickness of the Y spacer layer increases,Y participates in the formation of the main phase in the film, and further regulates the formation of La-B phases. The results of the first-order reversal curve(FORC)and micromagnetic fitting show that the coercivity of all the films is dominated by nucleation mechanism. The c-axis preferred orientation, good magnetic microstructure parameters and the largest dipole interaction enhance the coercivity. Therefore, the introduction of the Y spacer layer can be an effective way to improve the coercivity of La-Nd-Fe-B film over a wide temperature range of 150 K-380 K.

文摘The low porosity and low permeability of tight oil reservoirs call for improvements in the current technologies for oil recovery.Traditional chemical solutions with large molecular size cannot effectively flow through the nanopores of the reservoir. In this study, the feasibility of Nanofluids has been investigated using a high pressure high temperature core-holder and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).The results of the experiments indicate that the specified Nanofluids can enhance the tight oil recovery significantly. The water and oil relative permeability curve shifts to the high water saturation side after Nanofluid flooding, thereby demonstrating an increase in the water wettability of the core.In the Nanofluid flooding process the oil recovery was enhanced by 15.1%,compared to waterflooding stage. The T2 spectra using the NMR show that after Nanofluid flooding,a 7.18%increment in oil recovery factor was gained in the small pores,a 4.9%increase in the middle pores, and a 0.29%increase in the large pores. These results confirm that the Nanofluids can improve the flow state in micro-sized pores inside the core and increase the ultimate oil recovery factor.
