Given the extremely high inter-patient heterogeneity of acute myeloid leukemia(AML),the identification of biomarkers for prognostic assessment and therapeutic guidance is critical.Cell surface markers(CSMs)have been shown to play an important role in AML leukemogenesis and progression.In the current study,we evaluated the prognostic potential of all human CSMs in 130 AML patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)based on differential gene expression analysis and univariable Cox proportional hazards regression analysis.By using multi-model analysis,including Adaptive LASSO regression,LASSO regression,and Elastic Net,we constructed a 9-CSMs prognostic model for risk stratification of the AML patients.The predictive value of the 9-CSMs risk score was further validated at the transcriptome and proteome levels.Multivariable Cox regression analysis showed that the risk score was an independent prognostic factor for the AML patients.The AML patients with high 9-CSMs risk scores had a shorter overall and event-free survival time than those with low scores.Notably,single-cell RNA-sequencing analysis indicated that patients with high 9-CSMs risk scores exhibited chemotherapy resistance.Furthermore,PI3K inhibitors were identified as potential treatments for these high-risk patients.In conclusion,we constructed a 9-CSMs prognostic model that served as an independent prognostic factor for the survival of AML patients and held the potential for guiding drug therapy. 展开更多

Constructing heterojunction is an effective strategy to develop high-performance non-preciousmetal-based catalysts for electrochemical water splitting(WS).Herein,we design and prepare an N-doped-carbon-encapsulated Ni/MoO_(2) nano-needle with three-phase heterojunction(Ni/MoO_(2)@CN)for accelerating the WS under industrial alkaline condition.Density functional theory calculations reveal that the electrons are redistributed at the three-phase heterojunction interface,which optimizes the adsorption energy of H-and O-containing intermediates to obtain the best ΔG_(H*) for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and decrease the ΔG value of ratedetermining step for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),thus enhancing the HER/OER catalytic activity.Electrochemical results confirm that Ni/MoO_(2)@CN exhibits good activity for HER(ƞ_(-10)=33 mV,ƞ_(-1000)=267 mV)and OER(ƞ_(10)=250 mV,ƞ_(1000)=420 mV).It shows a low potential of 1.86 V at 1000 mA cm^(−2) for WS in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ and can steadily operate for 330 h.This good HER/OER performance can be attributed to the three-phase heterojunction with high intrinsic activity and the self-supporting nano-needle with more active sites,faster mass diffusion,and bubbles release.This work provides a unique idea for designing high efficiency catalytic materials for WS. 展开更多

The shrink fit retaining ring is currently the easiest to install and the most widely used end fixed for structure AC excitation variable speed generator-motor rotor end windings.However,the current research on the effect of high strength sealing on the ventilation and heat dissipation performance of the end is not enough.In this paper,based on the actual structural parameters and periodic symmetry simplification,the three-dimensional coupled calculation model of fluid field and temperature field is established.After solving the fluid and thermal equations,the influence of the length of rotor support block,the height of rotor support block,and the number of rotor support block on the fluid flow and temperature distribution in the rotor end region of generator-motor is studied using the finite volume method.The rheological characteristics of the air in the rotor domain,such as velocity and inter-winding flow,are analyzed.The law of temperature variation with local structure in the computational domain is studied.The variation law of cooling medium performance inside the large variable speed power generator motor is revealed. 展开更多

Crystal form I was not influenced by heating while crystal form II can be transformed to crystal form I through melting method. After SU2162 was prepared in accordance with the patent process, the crystal form I was recrystallized by ethyl acetate and the crystal form II was obtained by the recrystal in acetone. And the two crystal forms were characterized with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and X-ray powder diffraction (PXRD). The melting point of crystal form I (triclinic) is at 158&deg;C, and the melting point of crystal form II (monoclinic) is at 163&deg;C. The PXRD studies of the two crystalline samples indicate that they have the distinct diffraction patterns. Mirs Bay is a semi-enclosed bay neighboring the Zhujiang(Pearl)River estuary,one of the largest estuarine systems in the world.The long-term historical observational data(1994-2017)of temperature,salinity,dissolved oxygen(DO),and biochemical parameters were used to examine the spatiotemporal distribution of hypoxia in Mirs Bay and adjacent coastal waters.Results show that bottom hypoxia varied seasonally and interannually.Hypoxia mainly occurred from June to September in Mirs Bay and the transition zone in the southern waters of Hong Kong,and the recorded hypoxia events have increased from 2007.The density difference between the bottom and surface layers was positively related to the bottom apparent oxygen utilization(AOU)(R=0.620,P<0.001)and negatively related to the bottom DO(R=0.616,P<0.001),indicating that water column stratification was an essential prerequisite for the formation of bottom hypoxia in summer.The bottom oxygen consumption and hypoxia had higher positive correlation with the seasonal thermocline(R=0.683,P<0.001)than the halocline(R=0.540,P<0.001),including in the area was affected by freshwater plume.The insignificant relationship between AOU and nutrients indicated that local eutrophication was not the only important factor in the formation of the hypoxic zone during summer.The decrease in phosphorous owing to the pollutant reduction policy and the increase in nitrate may have led to an increase in hypoxia events in the bay where waters therein are characterized by nitrogen-limitation.The increase in chemical oxygen demand in wastewater also promoted oxygen consumption.Compared to the adjacent coastal waters influenced by Zhujiang River plume water,the Mirs Bay experienced more hypoxia events.The high concentrations of ammonium and total Kjeldahl nitrogen in the sediment of Mirs Bay increased the oxygen depletion in the bottom water.The long residence time of the near-bottom water in Mirs Bay increased the risk of bottom hypoxia events,although the nutrient concentrations were lower than those in the transition zone.These factors lead to differences in hypoxia occurrence in Mirs Bay and adjacent coastal waters. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of α-lipoic acid(ALA) plus epalrestat combination therapy in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN). DATA SOURCES: The electronic databases of Pub Med, Medline,... OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of α-lipoic acid(ALA) plus epalrestat combination therapy in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN). DATA SOURCES: The electronic databases of Pub Med, Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Library, the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Wanfang Database and the Chinese Biomedical Database were used to retrieve relevant studies without language restrictions. The search was conducted from the inception of each database to 7 October 2016. The key terms were(diabetic peripheral neuropathy or diabetic neuropathy or DPN) AND(α-lipoic acid or lipoic acid or thioctic acid) AND epalrestat. DATA SELECTION: All of the eligible studies met the following inclusion criteria:(1) Randomized controlled trials that compared efficacy and safety of epalrestat plus ALA combination therapy versus epalrestat or ALA monotherapy in patients with DPN.(2) The minimum duration of treatment was 2 weeks.(3) The DPN patients were diagnosed using the World Health Organization standardized type 2 diabetes mellitus and DPN criteria.(4) Studies contained at least one measure that could reflect the efficacy of the drug and nerve conduction velocities. Studies in which the control group used epalrestat or ALA combined with other drugs were excluded. Statistical analyses were performed using STATA software for meta-analysis. OUTCOME MEASURES: The primary outcomes were the therapeutic efficacy, median motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV), median sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV), peroneal MNCV and peroneal SNCV.RESULTS: Twenty studies with 1894 DPN patients were included, including 864 patients in the ALA plus epalrestat group, 473 in the ALA group and 557 in the epalrestat group. The efficacy of ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy was superior to ALA and epalrestat monotherapies(RR = 1.29, 95% CI: 1.21–1.38; RR = 1.43, 95% CI: 1.34–1.54, respectively). ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy also significantly improved median MNCV(WMD = 5.41, 95% CI: 2.07–8.75), median SNCV(WMD = 5.87, 95% CI: 1.52–10.22), peroneal MNCV(WMD = 5.59, 95% CI: 2.70–8.47) and peroneal SNCV(WMD = 4.57, 95% CI: 2.46–6.68).CONCLUSION: ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy was superior to ALA and epalrestat monotherapies for clinical efficacy and nerve conduction velocities in patients with DPN. 展开更多

Four experimental diets containing 0, 20, 40, or 60 mg/kg COS (COSO, COS20, COS40, and COS60, respectively) were fed to juvenile rainbow trout (initial weight = 5.2 ± 0.3 g) for 8 weeks. By the end of the feeding trial, representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor (30 see air exposure) and pathogen exposure (intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila ). Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout. However, fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities, respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level. Additionally, survival following A. hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds, although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation. Developing highly effective and stable non-noble metalbased bifunctional catalyst working at high current density is an urgent issue for water electrolysis(WE).Herein,we prepare the N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy coupled with mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet grown on 3D nickel foam(NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF)for water splitting.NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF exhibits outstanding activity with low overpotentials for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction(HER:39/266 mV;OER:260/390 mV)at±10 and±1000 mA cm^(−2).More importantly,in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ for WE,it only requires 1.90 V to reach 1000 mA cm−2 and shows excellent stability for 43 h,exhibiting the potential for actual application.The good performance can be assigned to N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy and mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet,which not only increase the intrinsic activity and expose abundant catalytic activity sites,but also enhance its chemical and mechanical stability.This work thus could provide a promising material for industrial hydrogen production. 展开更多

The tensile strength and Young’s modulus of shotcrete were considered. Six different undulations of rock-shotcrete interface were set up. The influences of multiple parameters on the bearing characteristics of the rock-shotcrete interface were studied. The results showed that a better support performance can be obtained by increasing the Young’s modulus of shotcrete rather than the tensile strength of shotcrete. For different tensile strength and Young’s modulus, the increase of sawtooth height has different effects on the support performance. The failure mechanism of the rock-shotcrete interfaces was analysed in detail. The stress shielding effect and stress concentration effect caused by the shape characteristics of rock-shotcrete interface were observed. The influence of these parameters on the overall support performance should be fully considered in a reasonable support design. 展开更多

Although Pt Ni catalyst possesses good oxygen reduction activity, its poor stability is the main obstacle for the commercialization of proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs). In this work, we introduce the acid-resistant refractory Mo to enhance the structure stability and modify the electronic structure of Pt in the prepared PtNi catalyst, improving the catalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). In addition, near-surface Pt content in the nanoparticle is also optimized to balance the ORR activity and stability. The electrochemical results show that the alloy formed by Mo and Pt Ni is obviously more stable than the PtNi alloy alone, because the acid-resistant Mo and its oxides effectively prevent the dissolution of Pt. Especially, the Pt3 Ni3 MoN/C exhibits the optimal ORR catalytic performance in O2-saturated 0.1 mol L^(-1) HClO4 aqueous solutions, with mass activity(MA) of 900 m A mg^(-1) Pt at 0.90 V vs. RHE, which is 3.75 times enhancement compared with the commercial Pt/C(240 mA mg^(-1) Pt). After 30 k accelerated durability tests, its MA(690 m A mg^(-1) Pt) is still 2.88 times higher than the pristine Pt/C. This study thus provides a valuable method to design stable ORR catalysts with high efficiency and has great significance for the commercialization of PEMFCs. 展开更多

Reproductive Tract Infections—A Main Factor Influencing Women’s Mental Status: Comparison on Depression and Anxiety between Naxi Women with and without RTIs 被引量:3

Objectives 1) To explore the relationship between RTIs and mental status of Naxi women; 2) to compare the differences of depression & anxiety between Naxi women who have and not have RTIs; and 3) to put forward some suggestions for improving Naxi women's reproductive health in psychological point of view. Methods A cross-sectional survey was adopted, 280 married Naxi female volunteers who aged above 20 years old were selected by cluster random sampling from the two selected villages of Lugufu Township of Yanyuan county in Sichuan. Two self-reporting scales, CES-D and SAS were used for assessment of depression and anxiety of the subjects. Results The facts of mental status of Sichuan Naxi women brook no optimism. Among 280 Naxi reproductive age women who were investigated in current study, only 74 (26.4%) have no depression symptoms, and 116 (41.4%) have no anxiety symptoms. For the study population, the average total scores (TS) of CES-D was 20.1, and the average total index scores (TIS) of SAS was 50.2, and both of them were above a minimum value doubted to have symptoms. There were big differences of both average TS of CES-D and TIS of SAS between Naxi women who have and not have RTIs. Further analysis revealed that RTI was a main risk factor influencing women's mental status (OR = 16. 043 for depression, and OR = 12.954 for anxiety). In addition, Naxi women's depression and anxiety were related to order births (≤2, OR=3.149, 95% CI: 1.228, 8.076), sex debut was younger (≤17, OR=3.043, 95% CI: 1.895, 4.884), and multiple pregnancy (≥ 3, OR=2.728, 95% CI: 1.990, 4.173), etc. Conclusion For improving Naxi women's mental status, a pressing matter of the moment is for local medical persons to gain the knowledge about mental health and the diagnosis and treatment levels of psychological disorders. At the same time, pssychological counselling should become a main activity of reproductive health services. 展开更多

Pitch is one of the most important auditory perception characteristics of sound; however, the mechanism underlying the pitch perception of sound is unclear. Although theoretical researches have suggested that perception of virtual pitch is connected with physics in cochlea of inner ear, there is no direct experimental observation of virtual pitch processing in the cochlea. By laser interferometry, we observe shift phenomena of virtual pitch in basilar membrane vibration of exsomatized cochlea, which is consistent with perceptual pitch shift observed in psychoacoustic experiments. This means that the complex mechanical vibration of basilar membrane in cochlea plays an important role in pitch information processing during hearing. 展开更多

Two explicit expressions of the stress concentration factor for a tension finite-width strip with a central elliptical hole and an eccentric elliptical hole, respectively, are formulated by using a semi-analytical and semi-empiricai method. Accuracy of the results obtained from these expressions is better, and application scope is wider, than the results of Durelli's photo-elastic experiment and Isida's formula. When eccentricity of the elliptical hole is within a certain range, the error is less than 8%. Based on the relation between the stress concentration factor and the stress intensity factor, a stress intensity factor expression for tension strips with a center or an eccentric crack is derived with the obtained stress concentration factor expressions. Compared with the existing formulae and the finite element analysis, this stress intensity factor expression also has sufficient accuracy. 展开更多

Objectives To explore the risk factors influencing the mental status of unmarried female youth. Methods ,4 cross-sectional survey and a qualitative interview were adopted. 1200 unmarried female volunteers (600 with 1,4) who aged 15-29 years in Yibin city were investigated, and 8 focus group discussions (FGDs) and 8 in-depth interviews were conducted. Except the investigation of subject's personal information, econ-socio status, sexual behavior, contraception and reproductive health problems they face, two selfreporting scales, CES-D and SAS were used for assessment of depression and anxiety of the subjects. Results 1) Depression and anxiety among unmarried female youth investigated in current study are relatively common. Proportions of the females with depression and anxiety to the total sample are 27.4% and 33.4%, respectively; 2) Depression and anxiety of the females with 1,4 are more serious than that of the female without 1,4. Proportions of unmarried females with IA have depression and anxiety to the total unmarried females with 1,4 are 3.45 times and 2.61 times that of unmarried females without 1,4 have depression and anxiety to the total unmarried females without 1,4, respectively; 3) IA is one of the key risk factors influencing depression and anxiety of unmarried female youth. Other risk factors are lack on basic knowledge about sex/ STD/HIV/AIDS, reproductive tract infections, relatively lower income, age at sex debut is relatively younger, etc. In addition, multiple sex partners and repeat pregnancies were risk factors influencing anxiety of unmarried female youth.
