Wheat cultivar Zhongmai 895 was earlier found to carry YR86 in an 11.6 Mb recombination-suppressed region on chromosome 2AL when crossed with Yangmai 16.To fine-map the YR86 locus,we developed two large F2 populations from crosses Emai 580/Zhongmai 895 and Avocet S/Zhongmai 895.Remarkably,both populations exhibited suppressed recombination in the same 2AL region.Collinearity analysis across Chinese Spring,Aikang 58,and 10+wheat genomes revealed a 4.1 Mb chromosomal inversion spanning 708.5-712.6 Mb in the Chinese Spring reference genome.Molecular markers were developed in the breakpoint and were used to assess a wheat cultivar panel,revealing that Chinese Spring,Zhongmai 895,and Jimai 22 shared a common sequence named InvCS,whereas Aikang 58,Yangmai 16,Emai 580,and Avocet S shared the sequence named InvAK58.The inverted configuration explained the suppressed recombination observed in all three bi-parental populations.Normal recombination was observed in a Jimai 22/Zhongmai 895 F2 population,facilitating mapping of YR86 to a genetic interval of 0.15 cM corresponding to 710.27-712.56 Mb falling within the inverted region.Thirty-three high-confidence genes were annotated in the interval using the Chinese Spring reference genome,with six identified as potential candidates for YR86 based on genome and transcriptome analyses.These results will accelerate map-based cloning of YR86 and its deployment in wheat breeding. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Non-invasive methods to diagnose non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH),an inflammatory subtype of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),are currently unavailable.AIM To develop an integrin αvβ3-targeted molecular imaging modality to differentiate NASH.METHODS Integrinαvβ3 expression was assessed in Human LO2 hepatocytes Scultured with palmitic and oleic acids(FFA).Hepatic integrinαvβ3 expression was analyzed in rabbits fed a high-fat diet(HFD)and in rats fed a high-fat,high-carbohydrate diet(HFCD).After synthesis,cyclic arginine-glycine-aspartic acid peptide(cRGD)was labeled with gadolinium(Gd)and used as a contrast agent in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)performed on mice fed with HFCD.RESULTS Integrin αvβ3 was markedly expressed on FFA-cultured hepatocytes,unlike the control hepatocytes.Hepatic integrin αvβ3 expression significantly increased in both HFD-fed rabbits and HFCD-fed rats as simple fatty liver(FL)progressed to steatohepatitis.The distribution of integrinαvβ3 in the liver of NASH cases largely overlapped with albumin-positive staining areas.In comparison to mice with simple FL,the relative liver MRI-T1 signal value at 60 minutes post-injection of Gd-labeled cRGD was significantly increased in mice with steatohepatitis(P<0.05),showing a positive correlation with the NAFLD activity score(r=0.945;P<0.01).Hepatic integrin αvβ3 expression was significantly upregulated during NASH development,with hepatocytes being the primary cells expressing integrin αvβ3.CONCLUSION After using Gd-labeled cRGD as a tracer,NASH was successfully distinguished by visualizing hepatic integrin αvβ3 expression with MRI. 展开更多

目的对比传统腹腔镜乙状结肠癌根治术与腹部无切口经直肠取出标本腹腔镜手术的近期疗效。方法以2015年1月-2016年12月于该院拟实施腹腔镜辅助乙状结肠癌根治手术的患者中选出34例实施腹部无切口经直肠取出标本腹腔镜乙状结肠癌根治术的... 目的对比传统腹腔镜乙状结肠癌根治术与腹部无切口经直肠取出标本腹腔镜手术的近期疗效。方法以2015年1月-2016年12月于该院拟实施腹腔镜辅助乙状结肠癌根治手术的患者中选出34例实施腹部无切口经直肠取出标本腹腔镜乙状结肠癌根治术的患者作为腹部无切口组。以1∶2的配对方式选择同期内年龄、性别一致,体质指数(BMI)相近的实施腹腔镜辅助乙状结肠癌根治手术的患者68例作为对照组。对比两种腹腔镜手术方案的手术时间、手术出血量、术后排气时间、术后疼痛评分、手术并发症、术后住院时间、附加镇痛处理情况、肠管切除长度、近远端切缘、肿瘤大小、淋巴结清扫数目和p TNM分期。结果腹部无切口组乙状结肠癌患者的手术时间、手术出血量明显高于对照组,腹部无切口组乙状结肠癌患者的术后排气时间、术后清醒时疼痛评分、术后第1天的疼痛评分明显低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组乙状结肠癌患者的肠管切除长度、远近端切缘、肿瘤大小、淋巴结清扫数目和p TNM分期差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。腹部无切口组随访5~8个月,平均6个月;对照组随访6~9个月,平均7个月,均未发现肿瘤局部复发及远处转移。结论相比于传统腹腔镜手术,腹部无切口经直肠取出标本腹腔镜乙状结肠癌根治术可以明显降低患者的疼痛程度,缩短术后排气时间,肿瘤根治效果相近。 展开更多

面对全球能源短缺和环境污染等问题,发展绿色、可持续的能源来替代传统的化石能源成为迫切需求.太阳能作为一种清洁可再生能源,其有效转化与利用受到了广泛关注.光催化将太阳能转化为化学能,其核心是新型高效的光催化材料.金属有机框架... 面对全球能源短缺和环境污染等问题,发展绿色、可持续的能源来替代传统的化石能源成为迫切需求.太阳能作为一种清洁可再生能源,其有效转化与利用受到了广泛关注.光催化将太阳能转化为化学能,其核心是新型高效的光催化材料.金属有机框架材料(MOFs),是一类由金属或金属节点与多齿有机配体相互连接而成的微介孔材料,具有独特的组成结构和特性,有望成为有应用前景的光催化材料.目前已有一些关于MOFs基光催化的综述,但考虑到该领域在过去几年迅速发展,为了研发高效的MOFs基光催化材料,非常有必要对已经报道的用于提高MOFs基光催化剂性能的策略进行总结.本综述重点总结了已报道的通过调控MOFs基材料的组成和结构的策略来提升其光催化性能的最新研究进展.首先,简要介绍了MOFs基材料的结构特点及其在光催化领域应用的优势,阐述了MOFs基材料光催化的基本原理,提出了影响其光催化性能的关键因素,包括光吸收能力、光生载流子的分离和迁移以及催化活性位点.其次,阐明不同结构调控策略通过优化关键因素进而提高光催化性能的原理,具体包括MOFs基材料中金属掺杂、配体功能化、超薄二维材料构筑以及缺陷工程策略.然后,通过总结典型案例,详细讨论了上述策略如何通过调控MOFs基材料的组成和结构来优化关键因素,从而提高MOFs基材料的光催化性能.最后,针对MOFs基材料光催化所面临的机遇、挑战及其发展趋势提出展望:(1)影响MOFs基光催化剂效率的因素是多方面的,因此将不同策略相结合有利于更好地提高MOFs基光催化剂的性能.除了本文总结的四种构筑策略,最近其它一些关于提升MOFs基材料光催化性能的结构调控策略也有零星报道,如微环境调控、晶面工程等,也值得进一步关注.(2)与无机半导体光催化剂相比,MOFs基材料的结构稳定性较差,因此应特别注意其在光催化条件下的稳定性,特别是MOFs基材料在水中的反应体系.(3)先进原位表征技术的发展和理论研究的深化对于高效MOF基光催化系统的设计及机理研究至关重要.(4)MOFs基材料的多功能性可以使其作为光诱导一锅多步反应的多功能催化材料,应大力开展研究.综上,本文系统地总结了通过调控MOFs基材料的组成和结构从而达到提升其光催化性能的不同策略,并就MOFs基材料光催化所面临的机遇、挑战及其发展趋势提出展望.希望本文能够为深入了解MOFs基光催化体系中组成-结构-性能关系以及从原子水平来设计研发高效的MOFs基光催化剂提供参考. 展开更多

Assessment of hepatic functional reserve by cirrhosis grading and liver volume measurement using CT 被引量:21

AIM: To explore a method for quantitative assessment of hepatic functional reserve by combining computed tomography (CT) volumetry with CT grading of liver cirrhosis before liver resection in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. METHODS: CT images of 55 patients undergoing liver resection were studied prospectively. The degree of liver cirrhosis was referred as "CT grade" and the percentage of remnant liver volume (PRLV) [PRLV = predicted RLV/predicted total liver volume (PTLV) × 100%; PTLV (mL) = 121.75 + 16.49 × body mass (kg)] were calculated by adding slice by slice of CT liver images. The postoperative RLV, pathologic stages of liver fibrosis in non-tumor area and survival time in these cases were analyzed. RESULTS: There was a significant difference in survival time between the group with PRLV ≤ 50% and the group with PRLV 〉 50% (X^2= 4.988, P = 0.026), and between the group with CT grade 0/1 and the group with CT grade 2/3 (X^2= 5.429, P = 0.026). With combination of the both parameters, an oblique line was identified according to the distribution of 32 survivors versus 23 deceased subjects. The mortality rate above the line was 7.1% (1/14), and that below the line was 53.7% (22/41), indicating a significant difference between the two rates (X^2 = 9.281, P = 0.002, P 〈 0.05). CONCLUSION: PRLV and CT grades are significantly correlated with hepatic functional reserve. The predicted line using these two parameters is useful in candidates undergoing liver resection for judging hepatic functional reserve. 展开更多

Calvarial bones are connected by fibrous sutures. These sutures provide a niche environment that includes mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs), osteoblasts, and osteoclasts, which help maintain calvarial bone homeostasis and repair. Abnormal function of osteogenic cells or diminished MSCs within the cranial suture can lead to skull defects, such as craniosynostosis. Despite the important function of each of these cell types within the cranial suture, we have limited knowledge about the role that crosstalk between them may play in regulating calvarial bone homeostasis and injury repair. Here we show that suture MSCs give rise to osteoprogenitors that show active bone morphogenetic protein(BMP) signalling and depend on BMP-mediated Indian hedgehog(IHH) signalling to balance osteogenesis and osteoclastogenesis activity. IHH signalling and receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-Β ligand(RANKL) may function synergistically to promote the differentiation and resorption activity of osteoclasts. Loss of Bmpr1a in MSCs leads to downregulation of hedgehog(Hh) signalling and diminished cranial sutures. Significantly, activation of Hh signalling partially restores suture morphology in Bmpr1a mutant mice, suggesting the functional importance of BMP-mediated Hh signalling in regulating suture tissue homeostasis. Furthermore, there is an increased number of CD200+ cells in Bmpr1a mutant mice, which may also contribute to the inhibited osteoclast activity in the sutures of mutant mice. Finally, suture MSCs require BMPmediated Hh signalling during the repair of calvarial bone defects after injury. Collectively, our studies reveal the molecular and cellular mechanisms governing cell–cell interactions within the cranial suture that regulate calvarial bone homeostasis and repair. 展开更多

Magnetically recyclable porous sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)/Fe2O3 hybrids,which combine the porous structure of Fe2O3 and hydrophobicity of SDS,have been successfully synthesized for the first time.Porous Fe2O3 has been first pyrolyzed from MIL-100(Fe)using a simple two-step calcination route.Then,the obtained porous Fe2O3 nanoparticles have been self-assembled with SDS molecules and yielded hydrophobic SDS/Fe2O3 hybrids.The porous SDS/Fe2O3 hybrids have been demonstrated to be highly efficient for the denitrification of pyridine under visible light irradiation.The pyridine removal ratio has reached values as high as 100%after irradiation for 240 min.Combining the results of a series of experimental measurements,it was concluded that the superior photocatalytic performance of SDS/Fe2O3 hybrids could be attributed to(i)the fast electron transport owing to the unique porous structure of Fe2O3,(ii)the superior visible light absorption of Fe2O3 nanoparticles,and(iii)the“bridge molecule”role of SDS efficiently improving the separation and transfer across the interfacial domain of SDS/Fe2O3 of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.More significantly,after the catalytic reaction,the SDS/Fe2O3 hybrids could be easily recovered using magnets and reused during subsequent cycles,which indicated their stability and recyclability. 展开更多

The properties of resin transfer molding(RTM)cyanate ester and its T800 grade carbon fiber composites were studied with the rheometer,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),FT-IR,dynamic mechanical analyzer(DMA),thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),mechanical property testing,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results showed that the temperature of cyanate ester suitable for RTM process was 70℃.Curing process of the resin was 130℃/2 h+160℃/2 h+200℃/2 h+220℃/4 h.Glass transition temperature and heat decomposition temperature of the cured resin are 289℃and 415℃,respectively.Mechanical properties of T800/RTM cyanate composites are 13.5%higher than that of T700/RTM cyanate composites and equal to that of T800/Prepreg cyanate composites.Tg of T800/RTM cyanate composites was proved to be 291℃.Fracture pattern of the composites was flat,which proved excellent interface properties between fiber and resin in this composite. 展开更多

The study of yield traits can reveal the genetic architecture of grain yield for improving maize production.In this study, an association panel comprising 362 inbred lines and a recombinant inbred line population derived from X178 × 9782 were used to identify candidate genes for nine yield traits. High-priority overlap(HPO) genes, which are genes prioritized in a genome-wide association study(GWAS), were investigated using coexpression networks. The GWAS identified 51 environmentally stable SNPs in two environments and 36 pleiotropic SNPs, including three SNPs with both attributes. Seven hotspots containing 41 trait-associated SNPs were identified on six chromosomes by permutation. Pyramiding of superior alleles showed a highly positive effect on all traits, and the phenotypic values of ear diameter and ear weight consistently corresponded with the number of superior alleles in tropical and temperate germplasm. A total of 61 HPO genes were detected after trait-associated SNPs were combined with the coexpression networks. Linkage mapping identified 16 environmentally stable and 16 pleiotropic QTL.Seven SNPs that were located in QTL intervals were assigned as consensus SNPs for the yield traits.Among the candidate genes predicted by our study, some genes were confirmed to function in seed development. The gene Zm00001 d016656 encoding a serine/threonine protein kinase was associated with five different traits across multiple environments. Some genes were uniquely expressed in specific tissues and at certain stages of seed development. These findings will provide genetic information and resources for molecular breeding of maize grain yield. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Glaucoma is a group of diseases characterized by a specific pattern of optic nerve neuropathy and retinopathy.Increasing evidence demonstrates glaucoma associated corneal endothelium loss.Direct-compression mechanism due to elevated intraocular pressure(IOP),cell toxicity after long term exposure to preservatives and glaucoma surgery have been reported to be the possible mechanism.Herein,we compare the specular endothelial microscopy in primary open-angle glaucoma(POAG)patients and healthy controls of the same age group to observe the corneal endothelium changes and the correlations to the mean IOP in a Chinese case control study.AIM To investigate corneal endothelial cell density in Chinese patients with POAG.METHODS A case control study was performed on 60 eyes of 60 patients with POAG.Exclusion criteria included history of corneal diseases,intraocular diseases,contact lens use,ocular trauma or surgery(including intraocular surgery and laser treatment),congenital abnormalities or systemic diseases such as diabetes.Intraocular pressure was measured using Goldmann tonometry.Indirect specular microscopy(TOPCON SP-2000P)was performed on central corneas and endothelial images were acquired.Endothelial cell density,area and cell counts were analyzed.RESULTS Endothelial cell density was 2959±236 cells/mm2 in healthy controls and 2757±262 cells/mm2 in patients with POAG.The POAG eyes had significantly lower endothelial cell density compared to healthy control eyes(P<0.001).In the POAG group,endothelial cell density was 2686±233 cells/mm2 in the patients receiving medication and 2856±272 cells/mm2 in the untreated subgroup.The eyes receiving medication had significantly lower endothelial cell density compared to untreated eyes.There was a negative correlation between cell density and mean IOP(r=-0.286,P=0.004),positive correlation between the average cell area and mean IOP(r=0.228,P=0.022),maximum cell area and mean IOP(r=0.218,P=0.029)and minimum cell area and mean IOP(r=0.290,P=0.003).The percentage of hexagonal cells was not correlated with mean IOP.CONCLUSION Patients with POAG have lower corneal endothelial cell density than healthy controls of the same age.This may be attributed to mechanical damage from elevated IOP and toxicity of glaucoma medications. 展开更多

A graphically oriented interactive program for assignments of rotationally resolved molecular spectra has been devised. The program functions by grouping spectral lines in term of the second difference principle. and graphing spectral intensity versus frequency in a bar graph of the selected groups, distinguished by color and/or line-type. This allows for easy detection of regular patterns buried in the observed spectrum. Furthermore, it includes a Loomis-Wood view for assisting in spectral assignments. As an example, the program was applied in assigning the molecular spectrum of the production in the discharge of PCl3 buffered by helium gas, which may belong to several species. The results suggest that the program is highly efficient and quite useful in the assignment and the analysis of molecular spectra, especially those of symmetric top, slightly asymmetric top and linear molecules. The accuracy and efficiency of this program will likely ensure its wide application in the processing of molecular spectra. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a method of quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS)for the simultaneous determination of such seven chemical components as gallic acid,epicatechin,catechin,ferulic acid,chlorogenic acid,rutin and caffeic acid in Vidal grape.[Methods]The high performance liquid chromatography was carried out using a COSMOSIL C18-MS-II column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm)with the mobile phase acetonitrile-2%acetic acid aqueous solution(gradient elution)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min.The detection wavelength was 280 nm,and the column temperature was 25℃.Using caffeic acid as an internal reference,the relative correction factors between it and other six to-be-detected components,and the contents of the seven components were calculated using the correction factors.The established was compared the results with the external standard method to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the method.[Results]The seven components had a good linear relationship in the ranges of 1.060-10.60,1.419-14.19,1.062-10.62,0.2950-2.950,0.1019-1.019,0.2014-2.014,and 0.1498-1.498μg,respectively,and the relative correction factors of gallic acid,epicatechin,catechin,ferulic acid,chlorogenic acid and rutin were 0.9760,0.7806,0.3277,1.640,1.161,2.778,respectively.There was no significant difference between the results of the QAMS method and the external standard method.[Conclusions]The QAMS method using caffeic acid as an internal reference is accurate and feasible,and provides a reliable method for the quality evaluation of Vidal ice grape. 展开更多

AIM: To investigate the effect of Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi-Tang (Decoction for Reinforcing Middle Jiao and Replenishing Qi) on deficiency of N-glycan/nitric oxide (NO) and islet damage induced by injecting two medium doses of streptozotocin (STZ). METHODS: Diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of STZ at 55 mg/kg on day 1 and day 8. Islet damage was evaluated using a scoring system. Nitrite, nitrate, α-mannosidase and amylase activities were measured by colorimetry. N-glycan patterns of amylase were determined with lectin [ConA, pisum sativum agglutinin (PSA), peanut agglutinin (PNA), and lens culinaris agglutinin (LCA)] affinity precipitation method. RESULTS: Severe islet necrosis and mild islet atrophy were observed in diabetic rats. The number and size ofislets, the activities of α-mannosidase, amylase and nitrite were decreased, while the binding of PNA and LCA to amylase was increased. All of which were improved after treatment with Bu-Zhong-Yi-Qi-Tang. Islet damage was significantly correlated with nitrite, nitrate, α-mannosidase, amylase and the binding of LCA, PNA, and PSA to amylase.CONCLUSION: STZ-induced islet damage is related to N-glycan deficiency in proteins by blocking α-mannosidase activity and no deficiency, accumulation of unfolded proteins, and endoplasmic reticulum stress and activation of cellular signals, all of which are improved after treatment with Bu-Zhong-YiQi-Tang. 展开更多

Photocatalytic upgrading of renewable biomass is a promising way to relieve energy crisis and environmental pollution.However,low photocatalytic efficiency and uncontrollable selectivity still limit its development.Herein,ultrathin SnNb_(2)O_(6)nanosheets with high dispersed Pt nanoparticles(Pt/SN)were successfully developed as an efficient photocatalyst for the precise hydrogenation of furfural(FUR)to furfuryl alcohol(FOL)under visible light irradiation and exhibited the high conversion of FUR(99.9%)with the high selectivity for FOL(99.9%).It was revealed that SN with only 4.1 nm thickness possess good separation ability of photo-generated carriers and abundant surface Lewis acid sites(Nb^(5+))which would selectively chemisorb and activate FUR molecules via the Nb···O=C coordination.Meanwhile,Pt nanoparticles would gather photo-generated electrons for greatly promoting the generation of active H species to support the hydrogenation of FUR to FOL.The synergistic effects between SnNb_(2)O_(6)nanosheets and Pt nanoparticles remarkably facilitate the photocatalytic performance for hydrogenation.This work not only confirms the great potential of ultrathin nanosheet photocatalyst with functional metal sites for precise upgrading of biomass but also provides an in-depth view to understand the surface/interface interaction between reactant molecules and surface sites of a photocatalyst. 展开更多

This paper mainly studies the problem of using UAVs to provide accurate remote target indication for hypersonic projectiles.Based on the optimal trajectory trends and feedback guidance methods,a new cooperative control algorithm is proposed to optimize trajectories of multi-UAVs for target tracking in approaching stage.Based on UAV kinematics and sensor performance models,optimal trajectory trends of UAVs are analyzed theoretically.Then,feedback guidance methods are proposed under the optimal observation trends of UAVs in the approaching target stage,producing trajectories with far less computational complexity and performance very close to the best-known trajectories.Next,the sufficient condition for the UAV to form the optimal observation configuration by the feedback guidance method is presented,which guarantees that the proposed method can optimize the observation trajectory of the UAV in approaching stage.Finally,the feedback guidance method is numerically simulated.Simulation results demonstrate that the estimation performance of the feedback guidance method is superior to the Lyapunov guidance vector field(LGVF)method and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.Additionally,compared with the receding horizon optimization(RHO)method,the proposed method has the same optimization ability as the RHO method and better real-time performance. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Madelung’s disease(MD)is a rare disorder of lipid metabolism,characterized by the growth of unencapsulated masses of adipose tissue symmetrically deposited around the neck,shoulders,or other sites around the body.Its pathological mechanism is not yet known.One of the most common comorbidities in MD patients is liver disease,especially chronic alcoholic liver disease(CALD);however,no reports exist of acute kidney injury(AKI)with MD.CASE SUMMARY We report a 60-year-old man who presented with complaint of edema in the lower limbs that had persisted for 3 d.Physical examination showed subcutaneous masses around the neck,and history-taking revealed the masses to have been present for 2 years and long-term heavy drinking.Considering the clinical symptoms,along with various laboratory test results and imaging characteristics,a diagnosis was made of MD with acute exacerbation of CALD and AKI.The patient was treated with liver function protection and traditional Chinese medicine,without surgical intervention.He was advised to quit drinking.After 10 d,the edema had subsided,renal function indicators returned to normal,liver function significantly improved,and size of subcutaneous masses remained stable.CONCLUSION In MD,concomitant liver or kidney complications are possible and monitoring of liver and kidney functions can be beneficial. 展开更多
