However, it has not been completely understood until now. In this paper, based on some primary experiments, in which cups have been tried under different working conditions with the soft-punch hydro-forming process, systematical know-how about why the LDR of a metal sheet is different, how working conditions influence qualities of a work-piece, and how the deformation takes place has been achieved when simulations are employed. All these results claim that the cup depth heavily weighs on the cup wall thinning rate, and a satisfied complex part can be achieved when the contacting time between the sheet and the female die is under our control well by a movable slider, which is fixed as the bottom of the female die.展开更多
A new automatic evaluationmethod of subway service quality based onmetro smart card data is proposed suitable for three different levels:station pair,railway line and subway network,which has merits of overcoming the ...A new automatic evaluationmethod of subway service quality based onmetro smart card data is proposed suitable for three different levels:station pair,railway line and subway network,which has merits of overcoming the previous lagging and subjective evaluation in the system of‘questionnaire survey plus evaluationmethod’.First,passengers’travel time distribution for different operating periods in station OD pairs are introduced initially for service evaluation purposes and are classified into different groups in order to infer the station’s operating characteristics at the different periods.Second,the classification is verified by K-means cluster analysis and K-S tests.Third,the service quality weight indicator is proposed to identify the service quality of the entire metro network from the dual perspectives of passengers and companies.Finally,the feasibility and rationality of the proposed method are verified by Shenzhen metro smart card data as an example.The new automated evaluation method of subway service quality is suitable for online and offline application.展开更多
A notable feature of a city or region with close economic and social connections with its neighbours is its highly mixed local and external traffic,and in some cases the external traffic volume is almost as high as th...A notable feature of a city or region with close economic and social connections with its neighbours is its highly mixed local and external traffic,and in some cases the external traffic volume is almost as high as that of local traffic.Whilst local traffic volume may be largely made up of the same regular local commuters making frequent trips,external traffic from outside of the city(region)may not be the same people making regular trips to/from the city.However,from a large pool of people making infrequent trips to/from the city,the existence of external traffic is proven by data from the licence plate recognition system of road vehicles in Changde,China.The function of value of time correlated with the income/wage rate and trip frequency is exploited and verified statistically.The time value distorted by trip frequency is defined as perceived time value(PTV),which also influences the way travellers perceive any travel impedance such as congestion delay and toll charges.This paper analyses the price of anarchy(POA)when explicitly considering the travel frequency of the trip-makers and their PTV,and compares with previous analysis without considering travel frequency.We show that when travel frequency is considered,the optimal toll of congested road pricing schemes which converts road traffic flow from user equilibrium into system optimization is much lower than that without considering travel frequency.The cost of licence plate auction cannot be treated as a congestion toll,which is only a threshold of vehicle ownership.That travellers choose routes by PTV rather than TV(time value)is proven by an example of Heishipu Bridge in Changsha,Hunan Province,China.展开更多
α-Poly(_(L)-lysine)(α-PLL)is a water-soluble cationic biopolymer containing the monomeric unitα-_(L)-lysine,which not only possesses excellent intrinsic properties but also can be modified via facile reactions betw...α-Poly(_(L)-lysine)(α-PLL)is a water-soluble cationic biopolymer containing the monomeric unitα-_(L)-lysine,which not only possesses excellent intrinsic properties but also can be modified via facile reactions between the side amine groups and many other functional moieties.Ring-opening polymerization(ROP)is the most prevalently used technique for the synthesis of PL_(L)-based polypeptides,which involves initial conversion of theε-primary amine-protectedα-_(L)-lysine to the _(L)-lysine NCA monomer.However,obtaining N-carboxyanhydrides(NCAs)in high purity has been a formidable challenge for over 50 years,let alone the large-scale synthesis.Herein,we show an unprecedented scale-up synthesis of _(L)-Cbz-LysNCA monomer and its polymers,generating linearα-poly(_(L)-lysine)with molecular weight(MW)up to 13.4 kDa.This easy operated scale-up strategy will lay the foundations for the industrial preparation of _(L)-Cbz-LysNCA and its polymers,and further extend the realm of existing applications,offering a paradigm for scale-up synthesis of other polypeptides.展开更多
