Furfurylated wood exhibits excellent dimensional stability and corrosion resistance,making it a promising material for constructing buildings,but it is highly flammable.Herein,flame-retardant furfurylated poplar wood ...Furfurylated wood exhibits excellent dimensional stability and corrosion resistance,making it a promising material for constructing buildings,but it is highly flammable.Herein,flame-retardant furfurylated poplar wood was produced via a two-step process utilizing boric acid(BA)and ammonium dihydrogen phosphate(ADP)as flame-retardant components,and biomass-derived furfuryl alcohol(FA)as a modifier.The acidity of BA and ADP allowed them to catalyze the polymerization of FA,which formed a cross-linked network that immobilized BA and ADP inside the wood.The addition of BA/ADP substantially delayed the time to ignition from 10 to 385 s and reduced the total heat release and total smoke release by 58.75%and 77.31%,respectively.Analysis of the pyrolysis process showed that the decomposition products of BA and ADP protected the underlying furfurylated wood and diluted combustible gases.This method significantly improved the fire retardancy and smokeless properties of furfurylated wood,providing promising prospects for its application as an engineering material.展开更多

With prote...Valley, the intrinsic feature of silicon, is an inescapable subject in silicon-based quantum computing. At the spin–valley hotspot, both Rabi frequency and state relaxation rate are significantly enhanced. With protection against charge noise, the valley degree of freedom is also conceived to encode a qubit to realize noise-resistant quantum computing.Here, based on the spin qubit composed of one or three electrons, we characterize the intrinsic properties of valley in an isotopically enriched silicon quantum dot(QD) device. For one-electron qubit, we measure two electric-dipole spin resonance(EDSR) signals which are attributed to partial occupation of two valley states. The resonance frequencies of two EDSR signals have opposite electric field dependences. Moreover, we characterize the electric field dependence of the upper valley state based on three-electron qubit experiments. The difference of electric field dependences of the two valleys is 52.02 MHz/V, which is beneficial for tuning qubit frequency to meet different experimental requirements. As an extension of electrical control spin qubits, the opposite electric field dependence is crucial for qubit addressability,individual single-qubit control and two-qubit gate approaches in scalable quantum computing.展开更多

However, the fidelity and visibility of the readout pr...The single-shot readout data process is essential for the realization of high-fidelity qubits and fault-tolerant quantum algorithms in semiconductor quantum dots. However, the fidelity and visibility of the readout process are sensitive to the choice of the thresholds and limited by the experimental hardware. By demonstrating the linear dependence between the measured spin state probabilities and readout visibilities along with dark counts, we describe an alternative threshold-independent method for the single-shot readout of spin qubits in semiconductor quantum dots. We can obtain the extrapolated spin state probabilities of the prepared probabilities of the excited spin state through the threshold-independent method. We then analyze the corresponding errors of the method, finding that errors of the extrapolated probabilities cannot be neglected with no constraints on the readout time and threshold voltage. Therefore, by limiting the readout time and threshold voltage, we ensure the accuracy of the extrapolated probability. We then prove that the efficiency and robustness of this method are 60 times larger than those of the most commonly used method. Moreover, we discuss the influence of the electron temperature on the effective area with a fixed external magnetic field and provide a preliminary demonstration for a single-shot readout of up to 0.7K/1.5T in the future.展开更多

BACKGROUND Paprosky type ⅢB acetabular bone defects are very difficult to reconstruct.For severe defects,we developed our own cup-on-cup technique.We defined the tantalum metal (TM) revision shell with the peripheral...BACKGROUND Paprosky type ⅢB acetabular bone defects are very difficult to reconstruct.For severe defects,we developed our own cup-on-cup technique.We defined the tantalum metal (TM) revision shell with the peripheral titanium ring removed as a TM-cup augment and the cementless hemispherical acetabulum component combined with a TM-cup augment as the cup-on-cup technique.AIM To report the short-term results of patients with typeⅢB acetabular bone defects reconstructed using the cup-on-cup technique.METHODS We retrospectively reviewed six patients (six hips) with a mean age of 59 years who underwent acetabular reconstruction using our cup-on-cup technique between January 2015 and January 2017.All acetabular bone defects were classified as typeⅢB without pelvic discontinuity using the system of Paprosky All patients were followed both clinically and radiographically for a mean duration of 42 mo.RESULTS The mean Harris hip score improved from 32.4 pre-operatively to 80.7 at the last follow-up.The mean vertical position of the hip rotation centre changed from60.9 mm pre-operatively to 31.7 mm post-operatively,and the mean horizontal position changed from 33.6 mm pre-operatively to 38.9 mm post-operatively.Greater trochanteric migration after extended trochanteric osteotomy occurred in one of six hips at 3 mo.There was no evidence of component migration at the last follow-up.CONCLUSION The short-term results suggest that our cup-on-cup technique could beconsidered an effective management option for Paprosky type ⅢB acetabular bone defects without pelvic discontinuity.展开更多
短串联重复序列(short tandem repeat,STR)已广泛用于法医学亲子鉴定和个体识别中,但STR的突变可能会影响其结果的解释。在大多数类似研究中,由于忽略“隐性”突变现象,STR的突变率被低估。鉴于此,为获得更加准确的STR实际突变率,本研...短串联重复序列(short tandem repeat,STR)已广泛用于法医学亲子鉴定和个体识别中,但STR的突变可能会影响其结果的解释。在大多数类似研究中,由于忽略“隐性”突变现象,STR的突变率被低估。鉴于此,为获得更加准确的STR实际突变率,本研究使用Slooten与Ricciardi提出的有限突变模型和大规模数据,对28,313例(78,739个体)中国北京汉族已确认亲生关系的亲子鉴定案的20个常染色体STR基因座(D3S1358、D1S1656、D13S317、Penta E、D16S539、D18S51、D2S1338、CSF1PO、Penta D、TH01、vWA、D21S11、D6S1043、D7S820、D5S818、TPOX、D8S1179、D12S391、D19S433和FGA;由于有限突变模型中未包含D6S1043的矫正参数,因此本文实际计算其余19个STR基因座的突变率)进行了调查。结果发现,所有基因座均存在突变现象,总计发生1665个突变事件,包括1614个一步突变,34个两步突变,8个三步突变和9个非整步突变。基因座特异性的平均实际突变率在三联体中为0.00007700(TPOX)~0.00459050(FGA),在二联体中为0.00000000(TPOX)~0.00344850(FGA)。此外,本研究还分析了表面和实际突变率、三联体和二联体突变率、父源和母源的突变率之间的关系。研究表明,实际突变率多大于表面突变率,而且μ1^(*)/μ2^(*)(表面突变率)的比值通常也大于μ1/μ2(实际突变率)(μ1^(*),μ1;μ2^(*),μ2分别是一步和两步的突变率),即更多的“隐性”突变被释放出来。而且父源和母源的三联体和二联体的突变率也有存在差异。随后,将这些突变率数据与已发表的中国其他汉族人口的相关研究进行比较,展现出了STR突变率的时间与区域差异。由于样本量大,本研究中还报告了一些少见的突变事件,例如同卵双胞胎突变和“假四步突变”等。综上所述,本研究通过大量数据获得了接近真实的STR突变率的估计值,不仅可为中国法医DNA数据库和群体遗传学数据库提供重要的基础数据,也对开展法医学个体识别、亲权鉴定和遗传学研究具有重要的意义。展开更多
Primary hepatic lymphoma is extremely rare,and only a few cases have been described on positron emission tomography(PET) or PET/computed tomography(PET/CT) imaging in the English literature.We report a case of a 55-ye...Primary hepatic lymphoma is extremely rare,and only a few cases have been described on positron emission tomography(PET) or PET/computed tomography(PET/CT) imaging in the English literature.We report a case of a 55-year-old woman who presented with low-grade fever and weight loss of three months.On CT scanning,a mass was identified which appeared to be a hypoattenuating lesion,on ultrasonographic imaging,the mass was hypoechoic,therefore,liver abscess or hepatic metastasis from a gastrointestinal primary was initially suspected.Tumor markers such as alpha-fetoprotein,carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 were within normal limits.PET/CT demonstrated a large abnormal ring-like hypermetabolic focus in the right liver lobe.The lesion was resected and the histo-pathological findings were consistent with lymphoma.The patient was discharged two weeks after surgery and did not receive any further treatment.After 25 mo follow-up,she is in good health.18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET/CT is useful in confirming the diagnosis of primary hepatic lymphoma by demonstrating no other foci with high uptake in other parts of the body.展开更多

BACKGROUND A recurrent valgus deformity was a common complication after total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in patients with valgus deformity.However,re-revision surgery for re-recurrent valgus deformity after revision TKA in...BACKGROUND A recurrent valgus deformity was a common complication after total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in patients with valgus deformity.However,re-revision surgery for re-recurrent valgus deformity after revision TKA in patients with valgus deformity before primary TKA was uncommon.CASE SUMMARY We reported a 72-year-old female patient with two recurrent valgus deformities after TKA for a valgus knee deformity who underwent two revision surgeries to rectify the deformity.In the re-revision surgery,bone defects were successfully reconstructed by the augments and cement in combination with screws and a sleeve.An appropriate neutral alignment of the lower limb was restored by the perfect femoral entry point and the long diaphyseal cementless stem.Adequate fixation of the metaphysis and diaphysis of the femur was obtained by the sleeve and long diaphyseal cementless stem.The patient was pain-free and deformityfree for 2.5 years.CONCLUSION The management of bone defects,the choice of the stem and the femoral entry point were of vital importance in the revision or re-revision TKA for a recurrent valgus deformity.展开更多
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of LW-AFC,a new formula derived fromLiuwei Dihuang decoction,on gut microbiota and the behavior of learning and memory of SAMP8 mice,a mouse model of Alzheimer Disease(AD),and iden...OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of LW-AFC,a new formula derived fromLiuwei Dihuang decoction,on gut microbiota and the behavior of learning and memory of SAMP8 mice,a mouse model of Alzheimer Disease(AD),and identify the specific intestinal microbiota correlating with cognitive ability.METHODS Morris-water maze test,novel object recognition test and shuttle-box test were conducted to observe the ability of learning and memory.16S rRNA amplicon sequencing(Illumina,San Diego,CA,USA)was employed to investigate gut microbiota.RESULTS The treatment of LW-AFC improved cognitive impairments of SAMP8 mice,including spatial learning and memory ability,active avoidance response,and object recognition memory capability.Our data indicated that there were significantly 8 increased and 12 decreased operational taxonomic units(OTUs)in the gut microbiota of SAMP8 mice compared with senescence accelerated mouse resistant 1(SAMR1) strains,the control of SAMP8 mice.The treatment of LW-AFC altered 22(16 increased and 6 decreased)OTUs in SAMP8 mice and among them,15 OTUs could be reversed by LW-AFC treatment resulting in a microbial composition similar to that of SAMR1 mice.We further showed that there were7(3 negative and 4 positive correlation)OTUs significantly correlated with all the three types of cognitive abilities,at the order level,including Bacteroidales,Clostridiales,Desulfovibrionales,CW040,and two unclassified orders.LW-AFC had influences on bacterial taxa correlated with the abilities of learning and memory in SAMP8 mice and restored them to SAMR1 mice.CONCLUSION The effects of LW-AFC on improving cognitive impairments of SAMP8 mice might be via modulating intestinal microbiome and LW-AFC could be used as a potential anti-AD agent.展开更多

This study compared the biomechanical stability of calcaneal fractures fixed using a locking plate and crossing screws. Three-dimensional finite-element models of intact and fractured calcanei were developed based on the CT images of a cadaveric sample. Surgeries were simulated on models of Sanders type III calcaneal fractures to produce accurate postoperative models fixed by the three implants. A vertical force was applied to the superior surface of the subtalar joint to simulate the stance phase of a walking gait. This model was validated by an in vitro experiment using the same calcaneal sample. The intact calcaneus showed greater stiffness than the fixation models. Of the three fixations, the locking plate produced the greatest stiffness and the highest von Mises stress peak. The micromotion of the fracture fixated with the locking plate was similar to that of the fracture fixated with the metallic screws but smaller than that fixated with the absorbable screws. Fixation with both plate and crossing screws can be used to treat intra-articular calcaneal fractures. In general, fixation with crossing metallic screws is preferable because it provides sufficient stability with less stress shielding.展开更多
Tampering,forgery and theft of the measurement and control messages in a smart grid could cause one breakdown in the power system.However,no security measures are employed for communications in intelligent substations...Tampering,forgery and theft of the measurement and control messages in a smart grid could cause one breakdown in the power system.However,no security measures are employed for communications in intelligent substations.Communication services in an intelligent substation have high demands for real-time performance,which must be considered when deploying security measures.This paper studies the security requirements of communication services in intelligent substations,analyzes the security capabilities and shortages of IEC 62351,and proposes a novel security scheme for intelligent substation communications.This security scheme covers internal and telecontrol communications,in which the real-time performance of each security measure is considered.In this scheme,certificateless public key cryptography(CLPKC)is used to avoid the latency of certificate exchange in certificate-based cryptosystem and the problem of key escrow in identity-based cryptosystem;the security measures of generic object-oriented substation event,sampled measure value and manufacturing message specification in IEC 62351 are improved to meet the real-time requirements of the messages as well as to provide new security features to resist repudiation and replay attacks;and the security at transport layer is modified to fit CLPKC,which implements mutual authentication by exchanging signatures.Furthermore,a deployment of CLPKC in an intelligent substation is presented.We also evaluate the security properties of the scheme and analyze the end-to-end delays of secured services by combining theoretical calculation and simulation in this paper.The results indicate that the proposed scheme meets the requirements of security and real-time performance of communications in intelligent substations.展开更多

Considering that microgrids in a MGC, power dispatch optimization in a MGC is dif-ficult to achieve. In this paper, a hybrid interactive communication optimization solution(HICOS) is suggested based on flexible communication, which could be used to solve plug-in or plug-out operation states of microgrids in MGC power dispatch optimization. HICOS consists of a hierarchical architecture: the upper layer uses distributed control among multiple microgrids, with no central controller for the MGC, and the lower layer uses a central controller for each microgrid. Based on flexible communication links among microgrids, the optimal iterative information are exchanged among microgrids, thus HICOS would gradually converge to the global optimal solution.While some microgrids plug-in or plug-out, communication links will be changed, so as to unsuccessfully reach optimal solution. Differing from changeless communication links in traditional communication networks, HICOS redefines the topology of flexible communication links to meet the requirement to reach the global optimal solutions.Simulation studies show that HICOS could effectively reach the global optimal dispatch solution with non-MGC center. Especially, facing to microgrids plug-in or plug-out states, HICOS would also reach the global optimal solution based on refined communication link topology.展开更多

The methodological quality of subject-specific finite element analysis papers depends on the rigor of the study design and detailed description of key elements,while assessment instruments are often confined to clinic...The methodological quality of subject-specific finite element analysis papers depends on the rigor of the study design and detailed description of key elements,while assessment instruments are often confined to clinical trials or quasi-experiments.This study aims to present an instrument for methodological quality assessment of singlesubject finite element analysis used in computational orthopaedics(MQSSFE).Based upon existing instruments and relevant review papers,a pilot version was developed consisting of 37 items with 6 domains,including study design and presentation of findings,subject recruitment,model reconstruction and configuration,boundary and loading conditions(simulation),model verification and validation,and model assumption and validity.We interviewed four experts in the field to assess the face validity and refined the instrument.The instrument was tested for interrater reliability among two assessors on nine finite element study papers.Also,the criterion validity was evaluated by comparing the similarity of the MQSSFE and the modified Down and Black instrument.The intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.965,while the MQSSFE was significantly moderately correlated with the modified Down and Black instruments(r=0.61).We believed that MQSSFE was adequately appropriate,reliable,and valid for assessing the methodological quality for finite element studies used in computational orthopaedics.The instrument could facilitate quality assessment in the systematic reviews of finite element models and checklists for fidelity.展开更多
Life skill-based training is essential for intellectual disabled individuals to regain autonomy and social inclusion.Virtual reality(VR)could deliver a nascent application that is more engaging and secure.The objectiv...Life skill-based training is essential for intellectual disabled individuals to regain autonomy and social inclusion.Virtual reality(VR)could deliver a nascent application that is more engaging and secure.The objective of this study was to evaluate the training effects of the VR-based multiple life skill training program on life skill perfor-mance,self-efficacy,memory,cognitive and behavioral functions via a multicenter randomized controlled trial.A total of 145 intellectual disabled participants were recruited for a randomized controlled trial with three in-tervention arms:VR(n=42);traditional(n=53);and control(n=50).The life skill tasks for the interventions included 1)grocery shopping,2)cooking,and 3)kitchen cleaning.Outcome measures were performance scores for the three tasks,self-efficacy scale,digit span score,and Frontal Assessment Battery score,graded by blinded assessors.Before-after effects of each group were evaluated using separated Wilcoxon Signed-rank tests.VR sig-nificantly improved cooking,cleaning performance,and memory span,while traditional training significantly improved shopping,cooking,and cleaning tasks.The generalized estimating equation evaluated effects between groups adjusted for age,gender and intelligence quotient(IQ).VR had significantly larger improvement effects in cooking and cleaning than the control group and memory span compared to traditional training and controls groups.IQ appeared to be a significant confounder on the training effect.Future work may consider developing artificial intelligence to customize programs depending on IQ level.展开更多

文摘The single-shot readout data process is essential for the realization of high-fidelity qubits and fault-tolerant quantum algorithms in semiconductor quantum dots. However, the fidelity and visibility of the readout process are sensitive to the choice of the thresholds and limited by the experimental hardware. By demonstrating the linear dependence between the measured spin state probabilities and readout visibilities along with dark counts, we describe an alternative threshold-independent method for the single-shot readout of spin qubits in semiconductor quantum dots. We can obtain the extrapolated spin state probabilities of the prepared probabilities of the excited spin state through the threshold-independent method. We then analyze the corresponding errors of the method, finding that errors of the extrapolated probabilities cannot be neglected with no constraints on the readout time and threshold voltage. Therefore, by limiting the readout time and threshold voltage, we ensure the accuracy of the extrapolated probability. We then prove that the efficiency and robustness of this method are 60 times larger than those of the most commonly used method. Moreover, we discuss the influence of the electron temperature on the effective area with a fixed external magnetic field and provide a preliminary demonstration for a single-shot readout of up to 0.7K/1.5T in the future.

文摘BACKGROUND Paprosky type ⅢB acetabular bone defects are very difficult to reconstruct.For severe defects,we developed our own cup-on-cup technique.We defined the tantalum metal (TM) revision shell with the peripheral titanium ring removed as a TM-cup augment and the cementless hemispherical acetabulum component combined with a TM-cup augment as the cup-on-cup technique.AIM To report the short-term results of patients with typeⅢB acetabular bone defects reconstructed using the cup-on-cup technique.METHODS We retrospectively reviewed six patients (six hips) with a mean age of 59 years who underwent acetabular reconstruction using our cup-on-cup technique between January 2015 and January 2017.All acetabular bone defects were classified as typeⅢB without pelvic discontinuity using the system of Paprosky All patients were followed both clinically and radiographically for a mean duration of 42 mo.RESULTS The mean Harris hip score improved from 32.4 pre-operatively to 80.7 at the last follow-up.The mean vertical position of the hip rotation centre changed from60.9 mm pre-operatively to 31.7 mm post-operatively,and the mean horizontal position changed from 33.6 mm pre-operatively to 38.9 mm post-operatively.Greater trochanteric migration after extended trochanteric osteotomy occurred in one of six hips at 3 mo.There was no evidence of component migration at the last follow-up.CONCLUSION The short-term results suggest that our cup-on-cup technique could beconsidered an effective management option for Paprosky type ⅢB acetabular bone defects without pelvic discontinuity.
文摘短串联重复序列(short tandem repeat,STR)已广泛用于法医学亲子鉴定和个体识别中,但STR的突变可能会影响其结果的解释。在大多数类似研究中,由于忽略“隐性”突变现象,STR的突变率被低估。鉴于此,为获得更加准确的STR实际突变率,本研究使用Slooten与Ricciardi提出的有限突变模型和大规模数据,对28,313例(78,739个体)中国北京汉族已确认亲生关系的亲子鉴定案的20个常染色体STR基因座(D3S1358、D1S1656、D13S317、Penta E、D16S539、D18S51、D2S1338、CSF1PO、Penta D、TH01、vWA、D21S11、D6S1043、D7S820、D5S818、TPOX、D8S1179、D12S391、D19S433和FGA;由于有限突变模型中未包含D6S1043的矫正参数,因此本文实际计算其余19个STR基因座的突变率)进行了调查。结果发现,所有基因座均存在突变现象,总计发生1665个突变事件,包括1614个一步突变,34个两步突变,8个三步突变和9个非整步突变。基因座特异性的平均实际突变率在三联体中为0.00007700(TPOX)~0.00459050(FGA),在二联体中为0.00000000(TPOX)~0.00344850(FGA)。此外,本研究还分析了表面和实际突变率、三联体和二联体突变率、父源和母源的突变率之间的关系。研究表明,实际突变率多大于表面突变率,而且μ1^(*)/μ2^(*)(表面突变率)的比值通常也大于μ1/μ2(实际突变率)(μ1^(*),μ1;μ2^(*),μ2分别是一步和两步的突变率),即更多的“隐性”突变被释放出来。而且父源和母源的三联体和二联体的突变率也有存在差异。随后,将这些突变率数据与已发表的中国其他汉族人口的相关研究进行比较,展现出了STR突变率的时间与区域差异。由于样本量大,本研究中还报告了一些少见的突变事件,例如同卵双胞胎突变和“假四步突变”等。综上所述,本研究通过大量数据获得了接近真实的STR突变率的估计值,不仅可为中国法医DNA数据库和群体遗传学数据库提供重要的基础数据,也对开展法医学个体识别、亲权鉴定和遗传学研究具有重要的意义。
文摘Primary hepatic lymphoma is extremely rare,and only a few cases have been described on positron emission tomography(PET) or PET/computed tomography(PET/CT) imaging in the English literature.We report a case of a 55-year-old woman who presented with low-grade fever and weight loss of three months.On CT scanning,a mass was identified which appeared to be a hypoattenuating lesion,on ultrasonographic imaging,the mass was hypoechoic,therefore,liver abscess or hepatic metastasis from a gastrointestinal primary was initially suspected.Tumor markers such as alpha-fetoprotein,carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 were within normal limits.PET/CT demonstrated a large abnormal ring-like hypermetabolic focus in the right liver lobe.The lesion was resected and the histo-pathological findings were consistent with lymphoma.The patient was discharged two weeks after surgery and did not receive any further treatment.After 25 mo follow-up,she is in good health.18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET/CT is useful in confirming the diagnosis of primary hepatic lymphoma by demonstrating no other foci with high uptake in other parts of the body.

文摘BACKGROUND A recurrent valgus deformity was a common complication after total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in patients with valgus deformity.However,re-revision surgery for re-recurrent valgus deformity after revision TKA in patients with valgus deformity before primary TKA was uncommon.CASE SUMMARY We reported a 72-year-old female patient with two recurrent valgus deformities after TKA for a valgus knee deformity who underwent two revision surgeries to rectify the deformity.In the re-revision surgery,bone defects were successfully reconstructed by the augments and cement in combination with screws and a sleeve.An appropriate neutral alignment of the lower limb was restored by the perfect femoral entry point and the long diaphyseal cementless stem.Adequate fixation of the metaphysis and diaphysis of the femur was obtained by the sleeve and long diaphyseal cementless stem.The patient was pain-free and deformityfree for 2.5 years.CONCLUSION The management of bone defects,the choice of the stem and the femoral entry point were of vital importance in the revision or re-revision TKA for a recurrent valgus deformity.

文摘OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of LW-AFC,a new formula derived fromLiuwei Dihuang decoction,on gut microbiota and the behavior of learning and memory of SAMP8 mice,a mouse model of Alzheimer Disease(AD),and identify the specific intestinal microbiota correlating with cognitive ability.METHODS Morris-water maze test,novel object recognition test and shuttle-box test were conducted to observe the ability of learning and memory.16S rRNA amplicon sequencing(Illumina,San Diego,CA,USA)was employed to investigate gut microbiota.RESULTS The treatment of LW-AFC improved cognitive impairments of SAMP8 mice,including spatial learning and memory ability,active avoidance response,and object recognition memory capability.Our data indicated that there were significantly 8 increased and 12 decreased operational taxonomic units(OTUs)in the gut microbiota of SAMP8 mice compared with senescence accelerated mouse resistant 1(SAMR1) strains,the control of SAMP8 mice.The treatment of LW-AFC altered 22(16 increased and 6 decreased)OTUs in SAMP8 mice and among them,15 OTUs could be reversed by LW-AFC treatment resulting in a microbial composition similar to that of SAMR1 mice.We further showed that there were7(3 negative and 4 positive correlation)OTUs significantly correlated with all the three types of cognitive abilities,at the order level,including Bacteroidales,Clostridiales,Desulfovibrionales,CW040,and two unclassified orders.LW-AFC had influences on bacterial taxa correlated with the abilities of learning and memory in SAMP8 mice and restored them to SAMR1 mice.CONCLUSION The effects of LW-AFC on improving cognitive impairments of SAMP8 mice might be via modulating intestinal microbiome and LW-AFC could be used as a potential anti-AD agent.

文摘The effect of self absorption on the ratio of excimer to monochromophore emission intensities, I-e/I-m, has been explored by experimentally changing the solution layer thickness of the emission light path traversed in the solution in the right-angle geometry. The result shows that data obtained by front-face geometry are better than those obtained by right-angle geometry even after correction to zero solution thickness. The correction formula based on geometric optics given by Tsai and Torkelson is not adequate.

文摘The locking plate and percutaneous crossing metallic screws and crossing absorbable screws have been used clinically to treat intra-articular calcaneal fractures, but little is known about the biomechanical differences between them. This study compared the biomechanical stability of calcaneal fractures fixed using a locking plate and crossing screws. Three-dimensional finite-element models of intact and fractured calcanei were developed based on the CT images of a cadaveric sample. Surgeries were simulated on models of Sanders type III calcaneal fractures to produce accurate postoperative models fixed by the three implants. A vertical force was applied to the superior surface of the subtalar joint to simulate the stance phase of a walking gait. This model was validated by an in vitro experiment using the same calcaneal sample. The intact calcaneus showed greater stiffness than the fixation models. Of the three fixations, the locking plate produced the greatest stiffness and the highest von Mises stress peak. The micromotion of the fracture fixated with the locking plate was similar to that of the fracture fixated with the metallic screws but smaller than that fixated with the absorbable screws. Fixation with both plate and crossing screws can be used to treat intra-articular calcaneal fractures. In general, fixation with crossing metallic screws is preferable because it provides sufficient stability with less stress shielding.

文摘Tampering,forgery and theft of the measurement and control messages in a smart grid could cause one breakdown in the power system.However,no security measures are employed for communications in intelligent substations.Communication services in an intelligent substation have high demands for real-time performance,which must be considered when deploying security measures.This paper studies the security requirements of communication services in intelligent substations,analyzes the security capabilities and shortages of IEC 62351,and proposes a novel security scheme for intelligent substation communications.This security scheme covers internal and telecontrol communications,in which the real-time performance of each security measure is considered.In this scheme,certificateless public key cryptography(CLPKC)is used to avoid the latency of certificate exchange in certificate-based cryptosystem and the problem of key escrow in identity-based cryptosystem;the security measures of generic object-oriented substation event,sampled measure value and manufacturing message specification in IEC 62351 are improved to meet the real-time requirements of the messages as well as to provide new security features to resist repudiation and replay attacks;and the security at transport layer is modified to fit CLPKC,which implements mutual authentication by exchanging signatures.Furthermore,a deployment of CLPKC in an intelligent substation is presented.We also evaluate the security properties of the scheme and analyze the end-to-end delays of secured services by combining theoretical calculation and simulation in this paper.The results indicate that the proposed scheme meets the requirements of security and real-time performance of communications in intelligent substations.

文摘With large-scale development of distributed generation(DG) and its potential role in microgrids, the microgrid cluster(MGC) becomes a useful control model to assist the integration of DG. Considering that microgrids in a MGC, power dispatch optimization in a MGC is dif-ficult to achieve. In this paper, a hybrid interactive communication optimization solution(HICOS) is suggested based on flexible communication, which could be used to solve plug-in or plug-out operation states of microgrids in MGC power dispatch optimization. HICOS consists of a hierarchical architecture: the upper layer uses distributed control among multiple microgrids, with no central controller for the MGC, and the lower layer uses a central controller for each microgrid. Based on flexible communication links among microgrids, the optimal iterative information are exchanged among microgrids, thus HICOS would gradually converge to the global optimal solution.While some microgrids plug-in or plug-out, communication links will be changed, so as to unsuccessfully reach optimal solution. Differing from changeless communication links in traditional communication networks, HICOS redefines the topology of flexible communication links to meet the requirement to reach the global optimal solutions.Simulation studies show that HICOS could effectively reach the global optimal dispatch solution with non-MGC center. Especially, facing to microgrids plug-in or plug-out states, HICOS would also reach the global optimal solution based on refined communication link topology.

文摘With the widespread use of communication and information technology,power system has been evolving into cyber-physical power system(CPPS)and becoming more vulnerable to cyber-attacks.Therefore,it is necessary to enhance the ability of the communication and information system in CPPS to defend against cyber-attacks.This paper proposes a method to enhance the survivability of the communication and information system in CPPS.Firstly,the communication and information system for critical business of power system is decomposed into certain types of atomic services,and then the survivability evaluation indexes and their corresponding calculation method for the communication and information system are proposed.Secondly,considering the efficacy and cost defensive resources,a defensive resource allocation model is proposed to maximize the survivability of communication and information system in CPPS.Then,a modified genetic algorithm is adopted to solve the proposed model.Finally,the simulation results of CPPS for an IEEE 30-node system verify the proposed method.

文摘The methodological quality of subject-specific finite element analysis papers depends on the rigor of the study design and detailed description of key elements,while assessment instruments are often confined to clinical trials or quasi-experiments.This study aims to present an instrument for methodological quality assessment of singlesubject finite element analysis used in computational orthopaedics(MQSSFE).Based upon existing instruments and relevant review papers,a pilot version was developed consisting of 37 items with 6 domains,including study design and presentation of findings,subject recruitment,model reconstruction and configuration,boundary and loading conditions(simulation),model verification and validation,and model assumption and validity.We interviewed four experts in the field to assess the face validity and refined the instrument.The instrument was tested for interrater reliability among two assessors on nine finite element study papers.Also,the criterion validity was evaluated by comparing the similarity of the MQSSFE and the modified Down and Black instrument.The intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.965,while the MQSSFE was significantly moderately correlated with the modified Down and Black instruments(r=0.61).We believed that MQSSFE was adequately appropriate,reliable,and valid for assessing the methodological quality for finite element studies used in computational orthopaedics.The instrument could facilitate quality assessment in the systematic reviews of finite element models and checklists for fidelity.
文摘Life skill-based training is essential for intellectual disabled individuals to regain autonomy and social inclusion.Virtual reality(VR)could deliver a nascent application that is more engaging and secure.The objective of this study was to evaluate the training effects of the VR-based multiple life skill training program on life skill perfor-mance,self-efficacy,memory,cognitive and behavioral functions via a multicenter randomized controlled trial.A total of 145 intellectual disabled participants were recruited for a randomized controlled trial with three in-tervention arms:VR(n=42);traditional(n=53);and control(n=50).The life skill tasks for the interventions included 1)grocery shopping,2)cooking,and 3)kitchen cleaning.Outcome measures were performance scores for the three tasks,self-efficacy scale,digit span score,and Frontal Assessment Battery score,graded by blinded assessors.Before-after effects of each group were evaluated using separated Wilcoxon Signed-rank tests.VR sig-nificantly improved cooking,cleaning performance,and memory span,while traditional training significantly improved shopping,cooking,and cleaning tasks.The generalized estimating equation evaluated effects between groups adjusted for age,gender and intelligence quotient(IQ).VR had significantly larger improvement effects in cooking and cleaning than the control group and memory span compared to traditional training and controls groups.IQ appeared to be a significant confounder on the training effect.Future work may consider developing artificial intelligence to customize programs depending on IQ level.
