BACKGROUND With the rapid progress of systematic therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),therapeutic strategies combining hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)with systematic therapy arised increasing concent...BACKGROUND With the rapid progress of systematic therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),therapeutic strategies combining hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)with systematic therapy arised increasing concentrations.However,there have been no systematic review comparing HAIC and its combination strategies in the first-line treatment for advanced HCC.AIM To investigate the efficacy and safety of HAIC and its combination therapies for advanced HCC.METHODS A network meta-analysis was performed by including 9 randomized controlled trails and 35 cohort studies to carry out our study.The outcomes of interest comprised overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),tumor response and adverse events.Hazard ratios(HR)and odds ratios(OR)with a 95% confidence interval(CI)were calculated and agents were ranked based on their ranking probability.RESULTS HAIC outperformed Sorafenib(HR=0.55,95%CI:0.42-0.72;HR=0.51,95%CI:0.33-0.78;OR=2.86,95%CI:1.37-5.98;OR=5.45,95%CI:3.57-8.30;OR=7.15,95%CI:4.06-12.58;OR=2.89,95%CI:1.99-4.19;OR=0.48,95%CI:0.25-0.92,respectively)and transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)(HR=0.50,95%CI:0.33-0.75;HR=0.62,95%CI:0.39-0.98;OR=3.08,95%CI:1.36-6.98;OR=2.07,95%CI:1.54-2.80;OR=3.16,95%CI:1.71-5.85;OR=2.67,95%CI:1.59-4.50;OR=0.16,95%CI:0.05-0.54,respectively)in terms of efficacy and safety.HAIC+lenvatinib+ablation,HAIC+ablation,HAIC+anti-programmed cell death 1(PD-1),and HAIC+radiotherapy had the higher likelihood of providing better OS and PFS outcomes compared to HAIC alone.HAIC+TACE+S-1,HAIC+lenvatinib,HAIC+PD-1,HAIC+TACE,and HAIC+sorafenib had the higher likelihood of providing better partial response and objective response rate outcomes compared to HAIC.HAIC+PD-1,HAIC+TACE+S-1 and HAIC+TACE had the higher likelihood of providing better complete response and disease control rate outcomes compared to HAIC alone.CONCLUSION HAIC proved more effective and safer than sorafenib and TACE.Furthermore,combined with other interventions,HAIC showed improved efficacy over HAIC monotherapy according to the treatment ranking analysis.展开更多
Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)can be personalized and differentiated into neural stem cells(NSCs),thereby effectively providing a source of transplanted cells for spinal cord injury(SCI).To further improve the ...Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)can be personalized and differentiated into neural stem cells(NSCs),thereby effectively providing a source of transplanted cells for spinal cord injury(SCI).To further improve the repair efficiency of SCI,we designed a functional neural network tissue based on TrkC-modified iPSC-derived NSCs and a CBD-NT3-modified linear-ordered collagen scaffold(LOCS).We confirmed that transplantation of this tissue regenerated neurons and synapses,improved the microenvironment of the injured area,enhanced remodeling of the extracellular matrix,and promoted functional recovery of the hind limbs in a rat SCI model with complete transection.RNA sequencing and metabolomic analyses also confirmed the repair effect of this tissue from multiple perspectives and revealed its potential mechanism for treating SCI.Together,we constructed a functional neural network tissue using human iPSCs-derived NSCs as seed cells based on the interaction of receptors and ligands for the first time.This tissue can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of SCI,thus confirming the feasibility of human iPSCs-derived NSCs and LOCS for SCI repair and providing a valuable direction for SCI research.展开更多
BACKGROUND Indocyanine green(ICG)fluorescence played an important role in tumor localization and margin delineation in hepatobiliary surgery.However,the preoperative regimen of ICG administration was still controversi...BACKGROUND Indocyanine green(ICG)fluorescence played an important role in tumor localization and margin delineation in hepatobiliary surgery.However,the preoperative regimen of ICG administration was still controversial.Factors associated with tumor fluorescence staining effect were unclear.AIM To investigate the preoperative laboratory indexes corelated with ICG fluorescence staining effect and establish a novel laboratory scoring system to screen specifical patients who need ICG dose adjustment.METHODS To investigate the predictive indicators of ICG fluorescence characteristics in patients undergoing laparoscopic hepatectomy from January 2018 to January 2021 were included.Blood laboratory tests were completed within 1 wk before surgery.All patients received 5 mg ICG injection 24 h before surgery for preliminary tumor imaging.ImageJ software was used to measure the fluorescence intensity values of regions of interest.Correlation analysis was used to identify risk factors.A laboratory risk model was established to identify individuals at high risk for high liver background fluorescence.RESULTS There were 110 patients who were enrolled in this study from January 2019 to January 2021.The mean values of fluorescence intensity of liver background(FI-LB),fluorescence intensity of gallbladder,and fluorescence intensity of target area were 18.87±17.06,54.84±33.29,and 68.56±36.11,respectively.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve showed that FI-LB was a good indicator for liver clearance ability[area under the ROC curve(AUC)=0.984].Correlation analysis found pre-operative aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,gammaglutamyl transpeptidase,adenosine deaminase,and lactate dehydrogenase were positively associated with FI-LB and red blood cell,cholinesterase,and were negatively associated with FI-LB.Total laboratory risk score(TLRS)was calculated according to ROC curve(AUC=0.848,sensitivity=0.773,specificity=0.885).When TLRS was greater than 6.5,the liver clearance ability of ICG was considered as poor.CONCLUSION Preoperative laboratory blood indicators can predict hepatic ICG clearance ability.Surgeons can adjust the dose and timing of ICG preoperatively to achieve better liver fluorescent staining.展开更多

The phenotypic alteration from differentiated to proliferative VSMC contrib- utes to the development of several major cardiovascular diseases including atherosclerosis, hypertension, resteno- sis after angioplasty or bypass, diabetic vascular complications, and transplantation arteriopathy. Since the VSMC phenotype in these pathological conditions resembles that of developing VSMC during embryonic development, understanding of the molecular mechanisms that control VSMC differentiation will provide fundamental insights into the pathological processes of these cardiovascular diseases. Although VSMC differentiation is usually ac- companied by an irreversible cell cycle exit, VSMC proliferation and differentiation occur concurrently during embryonic development. The molecular mechanisms simultaneously regulating these two processes, however, remain largely unknown. Our recent study demonstrates that cell division cycle 7, a key regulator of cell cycle, promotes both VSMC differentiation and proliferation through different mechanisms during the initial phase of VSMC differentiation. Conversely, Kriappel-like factor 4 appears to be a repressor for both VSMC differentia- tion and proliferation. This review attempts to highlight the novel role of cell division cycle 7 in TGF-β-induced VSMC differentiation and proliferation. The role of K141ppel-like factor 4 in suppressing these two processes will also be discussed.展开更多

Due to the strong feedback and co...Distillation is the most widely used operation for liquid mixture separation in the chemical industry. It is of great importance to detect and diagnose faults in distillation process. Due to the strong feedback and coupling of processes in a distillation column, it is difficult to use deep auto-encoders(DAEs) alone to achieve good results in detecting and diagnosing faults, in terms of accuracy and efficiency. This paper proposes a hybrid fault-diagnosis model based on convolutional neural networks(CNNs) and DAEs, by integrating the powerful capability of CNN in feature extraction and of DAE in classification. A case study was carried out with the distillation process of depropanization. It is shown that the proposed hybrid model is of good performance compared to other models, in terms of the accuracy of fault detection in such a process. Also, with the increase of structural layers of the CNN–DAE model, the diagnostic accuracy will be improved, with an optimal accuracy of 92.2%.展开更多
BACKGROUND Liver cancer is a malignant tumor with a high incidence.At present,the most effective treatment is laparoscopic hepatectomy(LH).Indocyanine green fluorescence imaging(ICG-FI)has become an important tool in ...BACKGROUND Liver cancer is a malignant tumor with a high incidence.At present,the most effective treatment is laparoscopic hepatectomy(LH).Indocyanine green fluorescence imaging(ICG-FI)has become an important tool in LH,and the most common fluorescent types of tumors are total fluorescence,partial fluorescence,and rim fluorescence.CASE SUMMARY We presented four cases of LH guided by ICG-FI in which we also observed the fourth special fluorescent type.When the tumor or intrahepatic stone compresses the adjacent bile duct to cause local cholestasis,the liver segment or subsegment with obstructed bile drainage will show strong fluorescence.Complete removal of the lesion together with the fluorescent liver parenchyma may help reduce the risk of tumor or stone recurrence.CONCLUSION This type of partial fluorescence can indicate local biliary compression,and the resection method is related to bile drainage,which may be called functional anatomical hepatectomy and ensures radical resection of the lesion.展开更多

Statistical results show that a strong NPSTF in spring can significantly enhance the East Asian jet stream (EAJS). Both transient eddy activity and the atmospheric heat source play important roles in this process. The enhanced atmospheric temperature gradient due to a strong NPSTF increases atmospheric baroclinicity, resulting in an intensification of transient eddy and convection activities. On the one hand, the enhanced transient eddy activities can excite an anomalous cyclonic circulation with a quasi-baraotropical structure in the troposphere to the north of the NPSTF. Accordingly, the related westerly wind anomalies around 30°N can intensify the component of the EAJS over the Northeast Pacific. On the other hand, an enhanced atmospheric heat source over the NPSTF, which is related to increased rainfall, acts to excite an anomalous cyclonic circulation system in the troposphere to the northwest of the NPSTF, which can explain the enhanced component of the EAJS over the Northwest Pacific. The two mechanisms may combine to enhance the EAJS.展开更多
Precipitation over southeastern Lake Baikal features a significant decreasing trend in July and August over 1979–2018 and is closely related to blocking occurrence over central Siberia(45°–70°N,75°–1...Precipitation over southeastern Lake Baikal features a significant decreasing trend in July and August over 1979–2018 and is closely related to blocking occurrence over central Siberia(45°–70°N,75°–115°E).This study investigates the formation and maintenance of anticyclonic and cyclonic wave-breaking(AWB and CWB)blocking events and their climate impacts on precipitation in the southeastern Lake Baikal area.Both AWB and CWB blocking events are characterized by a cold trough deepening from the sub-Arctic region and a ridge amplifying toward its north over central Siberia,as well as an evident Rossby wave train over midlatitude Eurasia.For AWB blocking events,the ridge and trough pair tilts clockwise and the wave train exhibits a zonal distribution.In contrast,ridge and trough pair associated with CWB blocking events leans anticlockwise with larger-scale,meridional,and more anisotropic signatures.Moreover,the incoming Rossby wave energy associated with CWB blocking events is more evident than for AWB blocking events.Therefore,CWB blocking events are more persistent.AWB blocking events produce more extensive and persistent precipitation over the southeastern Lake Baikal area than CWB blocking events,in which moderate above-normal rainfall is seen in the decaying periods of blockings.A significant decreasing trend is found in terms of AWB blocking occurrence over central Siberia,which may contribute to the downward trend of precipitation over southeastern Lake Baikal.展开更多
To quickly predict the fatigue limit of 6061 aluminum alloy,two assessment methods based on the temperature evolution and the steady ratcheting strain difference under cyclic loading,respectively,were proposed.The tem...To quickly predict the fatigue limit of 6061 aluminum alloy,two assessment methods based on the temperature evolution and the steady ratcheting strain difference under cyclic loading,respectively,were proposed.The temperature evolutions during static and cyclic loadings were both measured by infrared thermography.Fatigue tests show that the temperature evolution was closely related to the cyclic loading,and the cyclic loading range can be divided into three sections according to the regular of temperature evolution in different section.The mechanism of temperature evolution under different cyclic loadings was also analyzed due to the thermoelastic,viscous,and thermoplastic effects.Additionally,ratcheting strain under cyclic loading was also measured,and the results show that the evolution of the ratcheting strain under cyclic loading above the fatigue limit undergone three stages:the first increasing stage,the second steady state,and the final abrupt increase stage.The fatigue limit of the 6061 aluminum alloy was quickly estimated based on transition point of linear fitting of temperature increase and the steady value of ratcheting strain difference.Besides,it is feasible and quick of the two methods by the proof of the traditional S-N curve.展开更多

Reaction runaway has longtime been an issue in chemical industry as it often leads to severe accidents if not controlled and inhibited properly.Herein we have reviewed several key considerations and procedures to prev...Reaction runaway has longtime been an issue in chemical industry as it often leads to severe accidents if not controlled and inhibited properly.Herein we have reviewed several key considerations and procedures to prevent such phenomena,including inherently safer reactor design,thermal risk assessment and early warning detection of runaway,and pointed out that the basic principle underlying is necessary heat management and construction of resilient processes.For inherently safer reactor design,important factors such as heat removal,heat capacitance,flow behaviors and explosive behaviors have been investigated.The survey shows that heat exchanger(HEX) reactor and microreactor outperform traditional reactors.Meanwhile,we have looked into the effect of thermal risk ranking and safety operation region determining for thermal risk assessment,and the influence of runaway criteria and construction methods for early detection of reaction runaway as well.It shows that thermal risk assessment plays a key role on process design,and early warning detection system(EWDS) is preferable on prevention of reaction runaway.In the end,perspectives regarding inherently safer designs with the measures discussed above have been provided.展开更多
Aluminum powder explosion accidents occurred frequently,but the mechanism of aluminum powder explosion is unclear.Therefore,the inhibitive effect of aluminum powder explosion plays a key role.To evaluate the inhibitio...Aluminum powder explosion accidents occurred frequently,but the mechanism of aluminum powder explosion is unclear.Therefore,the inhibitive effect of aluminum powder explosion plays a key role.To evaluate the inhibition capacity of different kinds of carbonates and phosphates:Na H2PO4,(NH4)2HPO4,NH4H2PO4,KHCO3 and Na HCO3 on aluminum deflagrations,a standard 20-L spherical chamber was used to determine the explosion severity,characterized by the maximum explosion pressure(Pmax).New parameters have been proposed:the minimum significant inert concentration(MSIC)and the minimum complete inert concentration(MCIC),which characterized the effect of inert.Experimental results showed that from the minimum significant inert concentration(MSIC)and the minimum complete inert concentration(MCIC),phosphate can have a significant inhibiting effect.40%Na H2PO4 can totally inert the aluminum explosion,and 50%(NH4)2HPO4or 50%NH4H2PO4 can also suppress the explosion.Through simulation,phosphate mainly acts via a chemical inhibition pathway,which inhibits the reaction of aluminum powder and oxygen by catalyzing the recombination of H atoms and O atoms.Carbonate performs inhibition in chemically,producing CO2,diluting the oxygen around the aluminum powder.Studies indicated that the explosion pressure of the mixture decreases as the concentration of inert dust increases.However,when the concentration of carbonates was low,SEEP(suppressant enhanced explosion parameter)phenomenon was found.This research work has a potential industrial application in high hazard aluminum working condition,which can help decrease the explosion pressure and reduce the accident loss.展开更多

Objective:To study the protective effect of liquiritin on the oxidative stress injury of SH-EP1 cell lines caused by hydrogen peroxide.Methods: SH-EP1 cell lines were cultured and randomly divided into control group, ...Objective:To study the protective effect of liquiritin on the oxidative stress injury of SH-EP1 cell lines caused by hydrogen peroxide.Methods: SH-EP1 cell lines were cultured and randomly divided into control group, H2O2 group and liquiritin group that were treated with the culture medium without serum, 200 μmol/L H2O2 as well as 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin combined with 200 μmol/L H2O2 respectively. After treatment, cell viability values as well as the content of mitochondrial apoptosis molecules and antioxidant molecules in cells were determined.Results:After 12 h, 24 h, 36 h and 48 h of treatment, the cell viability values of H2O2 group were significantly lower than those of control group, the cell viability values of 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin group were significantly higher than those of H2O2 group and the larger the liquiritin dosage, the higher the cell viability value;after 24 h of treatment, Bax, Caspase-3, Nrf2 and ARE content of H2O2 group were significantly higher than those of control group while Bcl-2, XIAP, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content were significantly lower than those of control group;Bax and Caspase-3 content of 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin group were significantly lower than those of H2O2 group while Bcl-2, XIAP, Nrf2, ARE, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content were significantly higher than those of H2O2group, and the larger the liquiritin dosage, the lower the Bax and Caspase-3 content while the higher the Bcl-2, XIAP, Nrf2, ARE, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content.Conclusions:Liquiritin can inhibit the mitochondrial apoptosis and enhance the antioxidant system function to relieve the oxidative stress injury of SH-EP1 cell lines caused by hydrogen peroxide.展开更多

Results:After 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment, Caspase-3, Caspase-8, NOX1 and LATS1 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those after 0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment (P<0.05) while CyclinD1, Bcl-2, c-Myc, c-FLIP, TRAF6, N-cadherin and Vimentin mRNA expression were significantly lower than those after 0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment (P<0.05). The greater the cordycepin dosage, the higher the Caspase-3, Caspase-8, NOX1 and LATS1 mRNA expression, and the lower the CyclinD1, Bcl-2, c-Myc, c-FLIP, TRAF6, N-cadherin and Vimentin mRNA expression. 文摘Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)can be personalized and differentiated into neural stem cells(NSCs),thereby effectively providing a source of transplanted cells for spinal cord injury(SCI).To further improve the repair efficiency of SCI,we designed a functional neural network tissue based on TrkC-modified iPSC-derived NSCs and a CBD-NT3-modified linear-ordered collagen scaffold(LOCS).We confirmed that transplantation of this tissue regenerated neurons and synapses,improved the microenvironment of the injured area,enhanced remodeling of the extracellular matrix,and promoted functional recovery of the hind limbs in a rat SCI model with complete transection.RNA sequencing and metabolomic analyses also confirmed the repair effect of this tissue from multiple perspectives and revealed its potential mechanism for treating SCI.Together,we constructed a functional neural network tissue using human iPSCs-derived NSCs as seed cells based on the interaction of receptors and ligands for the first time.This tissue can effectively improve the therapeutic effect of SCI,thus confirming the feasibility of human iPSCs-derived NSCs and LOCS for SCI repair and providing a valuable direction for SCI research.

文摘BACKGROUND Indocyanine green(ICG)fluorescence played an important role in tumor localization and margin delineation in hepatobiliary surgery.However,the preoperative regimen of ICG administration was still controversial.Factors associated with tumor fluorescence staining effect were unclear.AIM To investigate the preoperative laboratory indexes corelated with ICG fluorescence staining effect and establish a novel laboratory scoring system to screen specifical patients who need ICG dose adjustment.METHODS To investigate the predictive indicators of ICG fluorescence characteristics in patients undergoing laparoscopic hepatectomy from January 2018 to January 2021 were included.Blood laboratory tests were completed within 1 wk before surgery.All patients received 5 mg ICG injection 24 h before surgery for preliminary tumor imaging.ImageJ software was used to measure the fluorescence intensity values of regions of interest.Correlation analysis was used to identify risk factors.A laboratory risk model was established to identify individuals at high risk for high liver background fluorescence.RESULTS There were 110 patients who were enrolled in this study from January 2019 to January 2021.The mean values of fluorescence intensity of liver background(FI-LB),fluorescence intensity of gallbladder,and fluorescence intensity of target area were 18.87±17.06,54.84±33.29,and 68.56±36.11,respectively.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve showed that FI-LB was a good indicator for liver clearance ability[area under the ROC curve(AUC)=0.984].Correlation analysis found pre-operative aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,gammaglutamyl transpeptidase,adenosine deaminase,and lactate dehydrogenase were positively associated with FI-LB and red blood cell,cholinesterase,and were negatively associated with FI-LB.Total laboratory risk score(TLRS)was calculated according to ROC curve(AUC=0.848,sensitivity=0.773,specificity=0.885).When TLRS was greater than 6.5,the liver clearance ability of ICG was considered as poor.CONCLUSION Preoperative laboratory blood indicators can predict hepatic ICG clearance ability.Surgeons can adjust the dose and timing of ICG preoperatively to achieve better liver fluorescent staining.

文摘Vascular smooth muscle cell (VSMC) differentiation and proliferation are two important physiological proc- esses during vascular development. The phenotypic alteration from differentiated to proliferative VSMC contrib- utes to the development of several major cardiovascular diseases including atherosclerosis, hypertension, resteno- sis after angioplasty or bypass, diabetic vascular complications, and transplantation arteriopathy. Since the VSMC phenotype in these pathological conditions resembles that of developing VSMC during embryonic development, understanding of the molecular mechanisms that control VSMC differentiation will provide fundamental insights into the pathological processes of these cardiovascular diseases. Although VSMC differentiation is usually ac- companied by an irreversible cell cycle exit, VSMC proliferation and differentiation occur concurrently during embryonic development. The molecular mechanisms simultaneously regulating these two processes, however, remain largely unknown. Our recent study demonstrates that cell division cycle 7, a key regulator of cell cycle, promotes both VSMC differentiation and proliferation through different mechanisms during the initial phase of VSMC differentiation. Conversely, Kriappel-like factor 4 appears to be a repressor for both VSMC differentia- tion and proliferation. This review attempts to highlight the novel role of cell division cycle 7 in TGF-β-induced VSMC differentiation and proliferation. The role of K141ppel-like factor 4 in suppressing these two processes will also be discussed.

文摘Distillation is the most widely used operation for liquid mixture separation in the chemical industry. It is of great importance to detect and diagnose faults in distillation process. Due to the strong feedback and coupling of processes in a distillation column, it is difficult to use deep auto-encoders(DAEs) alone to achieve good results in detecting and diagnosing faults, in terms of accuracy and efficiency. This paper proposes a hybrid fault-diagnosis model based on convolutional neural networks(CNNs) and DAEs, by integrating the powerful capability of CNN in feature extraction and of DAE in classification. A case study was carried out with the distillation process of depropanization. It is shown that the proposed hybrid model is of good performance compared to other models, in terms of the accuracy of fault detection in such a process. Also, with the increase of structural layers of the CNN–DAE model, the diagnostic accuracy will be improved, with an optimal accuracy of 92.2%.

文摘BACKGROUND Liver cancer is a malignant tumor with a high incidence.At present,the most effective treatment is laparoscopic hepatectomy(LH).Indocyanine green fluorescence imaging(ICG-FI)has become an important tool in LH,and the most common fluorescent types of tumors are total fluorescence,partial fluorescence,and rim fluorescence.CASE SUMMARY We presented four cases of LH guided by ICG-FI in which we also observed the fourth special fluorescent type.When the tumor or intrahepatic stone compresses the adjacent bile duct to cause local cholestasis,the liver segment or subsegment with obstructed bile drainage will show strong fluorescence.Complete removal of the lesion together with the fluorescent liver parenchyma may help reduce the risk of tumor or stone recurrence.CONCLUSION This type of partial fluorescence can indicate local biliary compression,and the resection method is related to bile drainage,which may be called functional anatomical hepatectomy and ensures radical resection of the lesion.

文摘This study concerns atmospheric responses to the North Pacific subtropical front (NPSTF) in boreal spring over the period 1982-2014. Statistical results show that a strong NPSTF in spring can significantly enhance the East Asian jet stream (EAJS). Both transient eddy activity and the atmospheric heat source play important roles in this process. The enhanced atmospheric temperature gradient due to a strong NPSTF increases atmospheric baroclinicity, resulting in an intensification of transient eddy and convection activities. On the one hand, the enhanced transient eddy activities can excite an anomalous cyclonic circulation with a quasi-baraotropical structure in the troposphere to the north of the NPSTF. Accordingly, the related westerly wind anomalies around 30°N can intensify the component of the EAJS over the Northeast Pacific. On the other hand, an enhanced atmospheric heat source over the NPSTF, which is related to increased rainfall, acts to excite an anomalous cyclonic circulation system in the troposphere to the northwest of the NPSTF, which can explain the enhanced component of the EAJS over the Northwest Pacific. The two mechanisms may combine to enhance the EAJS.

文摘Precipitation over southeastern Lake Baikal features a significant decreasing trend in July and August over 1979–2018 and is closely related to blocking occurrence over central Siberia(45°–70°N,75°–115°E).This study investigates the formation and maintenance of anticyclonic and cyclonic wave-breaking(AWB and CWB)blocking events and their climate impacts on precipitation in the southeastern Lake Baikal area.Both AWB and CWB blocking events are characterized by a cold trough deepening from the sub-Arctic region and a ridge amplifying toward its north over central Siberia,as well as an evident Rossby wave train over midlatitude Eurasia.For AWB blocking events,the ridge and trough pair tilts clockwise and the wave train exhibits a zonal distribution.In contrast,ridge and trough pair associated with CWB blocking events leans anticlockwise with larger-scale,meridional,and more anisotropic signatures.Moreover,the incoming Rossby wave energy associated with CWB blocking events is more evident than for AWB blocking events.Therefore,CWB blocking events are more persistent.AWB blocking events produce more extensive and persistent precipitation over the southeastern Lake Baikal area than CWB blocking events,in which moderate above-normal rainfall is seen in the decaying periods of blockings.A significant decreasing trend is found in terms of AWB blocking occurrence over central Siberia,which may contribute to the downward trend of precipitation over southeastern Lake Baikal.

文摘To quickly predict the fatigue limit of 6061 aluminum alloy,two assessment methods based on the temperature evolution and the steady ratcheting strain difference under cyclic loading,respectively,were proposed.The temperature evolutions during static and cyclic loadings were both measured by infrared thermography.Fatigue tests show that the temperature evolution was closely related to the cyclic loading,and the cyclic loading range can be divided into three sections according to the regular of temperature evolution in different section.The mechanism of temperature evolution under different cyclic loadings was also analyzed due to the thermoelastic,viscous,and thermoplastic effects.Additionally,ratcheting strain under cyclic loading was also measured,and the results show that the evolution of the ratcheting strain under cyclic loading above the fatigue limit undergone three stages:the first increasing stage,the second steady state,and the final abrupt increase stage.The fatigue limit of the 6061 aluminum alloy was quickly estimated based on transition point of linear fitting of temperature increase and the steady value of ratcheting strain difference.Besides,it is feasible and quick of the two methods by the proof of the traditional S-N curve.

文摘Vascular smooth muscle cell (SMC) differentiation is an important process in vasculogenesis and angio- genesis during embryonic development. The altera- tions in the differentiated state in SMCs contribute to a variety of major cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis, hypertension, restenosis and vascular aneurysm . A better understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms that control SMC differen-tiation is essential to help develop new approaches to both prevent and treat these diseases. Therefore, development of reliable and reproducible in vitro cellular models in order to study the differentiation mechanisms is important although it has been challenging because of intrinsic peculiarities of SMC.

文摘Reaction runaway has longtime been an issue in chemical industry as it often leads to severe accidents if not controlled and inhibited properly.Herein we have reviewed several key considerations and procedures to prevent such phenomena,including inherently safer reactor design,thermal risk assessment and early warning detection of runaway,and pointed out that the basic principle underlying is necessary heat management and construction of resilient processes.For inherently safer reactor design,important factors such as heat removal,heat capacitance,flow behaviors and explosive behaviors have been investigated.The survey shows that heat exchanger(HEX) reactor and microreactor outperform traditional reactors.Meanwhile,we have looked into the effect of thermal risk ranking and safety operation region determining for thermal risk assessment,and the influence of runaway criteria and construction methods for early detection of reaction runaway as well.It shows that thermal risk assessment plays a key role on process design,and early warning detection system(EWDS) is preferable on prevention of reaction runaway.In the end,perspectives regarding inherently safer designs with the measures discussed above have been provided.

文摘Aluminum powder explosion accidents occurred frequently,but the mechanism of aluminum powder explosion is unclear.Therefore,the inhibitive effect of aluminum powder explosion plays a key role.To evaluate the inhibition capacity of different kinds of carbonates and phosphates:Na H2PO4,(NH4)2HPO4,NH4H2PO4,KHCO3 and Na HCO3 on aluminum deflagrations,a standard 20-L spherical chamber was used to determine the explosion severity,characterized by the maximum explosion pressure(Pmax).New parameters have been proposed:the minimum significant inert concentration(MSIC)and the minimum complete inert concentration(MCIC),which characterized the effect of inert.Experimental results showed that from the minimum significant inert concentration(MSIC)and the minimum complete inert concentration(MCIC),phosphate can have a significant inhibiting effect.40%Na H2PO4 can totally inert the aluminum explosion,and 50%(NH4)2HPO4or 50%NH4H2PO4 can also suppress the explosion.Through simulation,phosphate mainly acts via a chemical inhibition pathway,which inhibits the reaction of aluminum powder and oxygen by catalyzing the recombination of H atoms and O atoms.Carbonate performs inhibition in chemically,producing CO2,diluting the oxygen around the aluminum powder.Studies indicated that the explosion pressure of the mixture decreases as the concentration of inert dust increases.However,when the concentration of carbonates was low,SEEP(suppressant enhanced explosion parameter)phenomenon was found.This research work has a potential industrial application in high hazard aluminum working condition,which can help decrease the explosion pressure and reduce the accident loss.

文摘Landslide is one of the most harmful geological disasters for long-distance oil and gas pipelines, and evaluating pipeline vulnerability in case of landslide consequently plays an important role in improving the landslide risk assessment level. To ensure creditability, applicability and operability of pipeline vulnerability evaluation results, a physical simulation test based on the similarity principle was carried out between landslide and pipeline to verify the deformation behavior, stress and strain distribution status of pipeline in case of landslide and to acquire the empirical formula of pipeline vulnerability and distribution of thrust applied on the pipeline by landslide.

文摘Objective:To study the protective effect of liquiritin on the oxidative stress injury of SH-EP1 cell lines caused by hydrogen peroxide.Methods: SH-EP1 cell lines were cultured and randomly divided into control group, H2O2 group and liquiritin group that were treated with the culture medium without serum, 200 μmol/L H2O2 as well as 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin combined with 200 μmol/L H2O2 respectively. After treatment, cell viability values as well as the content of mitochondrial apoptosis molecules and antioxidant molecules in cells were determined.Results:After 12 h, 24 h, 36 h and 48 h of treatment, the cell viability values of H2O2 group were significantly lower than those of control group, the cell viability values of 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin group were significantly higher than those of H2O2 group and the larger the liquiritin dosage, the higher the cell viability value;after 24 h of treatment, Bax, Caspase-3, Nrf2 and ARE content of H2O2 group were significantly higher than those of control group while Bcl-2, XIAP, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content were significantly lower than those of control group;Bax and Caspase-3 content of 100 μmol/L, 200 μmol/L and 400 μmol/L liquiritin group were significantly lower than those of H2O2 group while Bcl-2, XIAP, Nrf2, ARE, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content were significantly higher than those of H2O2group, and the larger the liquiritin dosage, the lower the Bax and Caspase-3 content while the higher the Bcl-2, XIAP, Nrf2, ARE, SOD, GHS-Px and HO-1 content.Conclusions:Liquiritin can inhibit the mitochondrial apoptosis and enhance the antioxidant system function to relieve the oxidative stress injury of SH-EP1 cell lines caused by hydrogen peroxide.

文摘Objective:To study the effect of cordycepin on proliferation, apoptosis and invasion-related molecule expression in lung cancer cell lines A549. Methods:Lung cancer cell lines A549 were cultured and treated with different doses of cordycepin (0, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 ng/mL) for 24 h, and then the proliferation, apoptosis and invasion-related molecule mRNA expression in cells were detected. Results:After 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment, Caspase-3, Caspase-8, NOX1 and LATS1 mRNA expression were significantly higher than those after 0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment (P<0.05) while CyclinD1, Bcl-2, c-Myc, c-FLIP, TRAF6, N-cadherin and Vimentin mRNA expression were significantly lower than those after 0 ng/mL cordycepin treatment (P<0.05). The greater the cordycepin dosage, the higher the Caspase-3, Caspase-8, NOX1 and LATS1 mRNA expression, and the lower the CyclinD1, Bcl-2, c-Myc, c-FLIP, TRAF6, N-cadherin and Vimentin mRNA expression. Conclusions: Cordycepin can promote pro-apoptosis gene expression and inhibit pro-proliferation and pro-invasion gene expression in lung cancer cell lines A549.
