Normally,in the downlink Network-Coded Multiple Access(NCMA)system,the same power is allocated to different users.However,equal power allocation is unsuitable for some scenarios,such as when user devices have differen...Normally,in the downlink Network-Coded Multiple Access(NCMA)system,the same power is allocated to different users.However,equal power allocation is unsuitable for some scenarios,such as when user devices have different Quality of Service(QoS)requirements.Hence,we study the power allocation in the downlink NCMA system in this paper,and propose a downlink Network-Coded Multiple Access with Diverse Power(NCMA-DP),wherein different amounts of power are allocated to different users.In terms of the Bit Error Rate(BER)of the multi-user decoder,and the number of packets required to correctly decode the message,the performance of the user with more allocated power is greatly improved compared to the Conventional NCMA(NCMA-C).Meanwhile,the performance of the user with less allocated power is still much better than NCMA-C.Furthermore,the overall throughput of NCMA-DP is greatly improved compared to that of NCMA-C.The simulation results demonstrate the remarkable performance of the proposed NCMA-DP.展开更多
Reservoir islands formed by dam construction have the same history,clear boundaries,and large numbers that provide a natural platform for testing theories in ecology and biogeography.In this paper,we review studies of...Reservoir islands formed by dam construction have the same history,clear boundaries,and large numbers that provide a natural platform for testing theories in ecology and biogeography.In this paper,we review studies of multiple zoological taxa on reservoir islands of a large lake in eastern China(Thousand Island Lake).This lake,created in 1959,has 1078 artificial land-bridge islands of varying areas and isolation.Our review summarizes the decades-long studies in island biogeography and habitat fragmentation from this island system,grouped into three topics:species richness(“how many species are there”),community structure(“who are they”),and species interaction(“how they interact with each other”).Our findings support the predictions of the Equilibrium Theory of Island Biogeography and extend this theory to predict community structure of island faunas by moving beyond assumptions of species equivalency.In addition,the extensive studies on ecological networks,including mutualistic,antagonistic,and parasitic interactions,reveal the negative impacts of habitat loss on the maintenance of such networks,even as increasing forest edge enhances the robustness of pollination networks.At the end of this review,we proposed several future research directions based on current studies that are simultaneously at the frontier of ecology and biogeography.展开更多
Objective:The Delphi method was used to propose health effect evaluation indicators to assess foods for special medical purposes(FSMPs).This lays the foundation for the formation of a big data model for human health t...Objective:The Delphi method was used to propose health effect evaluation indicators to assess foods for special medical purposes(FSMPs).This lays the foundation for the formation of a big data model for human health testing,as well as a big data platform for the health and safety evaluation of special medical foods.Methods:The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of expert consultation on the constructed FSMP health effect evaluation indicators.Results:Ten major items were identified after two rounds of expert consultation.Among these,there were 10 primary entries,32 secondary entries,50 tertiary entries,and 28 quaternary entries.Conclusion:The complete list of evaluation indicators contains 10 entries,which can comprehensively and systematically monitor adverse reactions to the use of FSMPs.The present findings lay the foundation for a big data platform to evaluate the health and safety of special foods.展开更多
