They were characterized by means of powder x-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and ener-gy-dispersive x-ray (EDX) spectroscopy. FE-SEM images have shown that the shapes of the ZnO nanorods included straight nanorods, spear-like nanorods with sawtooth-shaped surfaces and lotus root-like nanorods. XRD and EDX indicated that all the nanorods are composed of hexagonal ZnO.展开更多

The phase diagram shows the existence of one co...By using the differential thermal analysis and X ray diffraction, the phase diagram of the EuI 2 KI binary system at the pressure of 3×10 -4 Pa was measured. The phase diagram shows the existence of one congruently melting compound, KEu 2I 5, and one incongruently melting compound, K 4EuI 6, and the two eutectic points are located at 737 K, 20% KI and 713 K, 60% KI, respectively. The crystal parameters of KEu 2I 5 from X ray analysis are in good agreement with ones from literature. The deviation for the phase diagram measurements is briefly discussed and the melting enthalpy of EuI 2 is 21012 J·mol -1 from the phase diagrams.展开更多
