The oxidation behavior of a novel Ni-based single-crystal 4774DD1 superalloy for industrial gas turbine applications was investigated by the isothermal oxidation at 980℃ and discontinuous oxidation weight gain methods.The phase constitution and morphology of surface oxides and the characteristics of the crosssection oxide film were analyzed by XRD,SEM and EDS.Results show that the oxidation kinetics of the 4774DD1 superalloy follows the cubic law,indicating its weak oxidation resistance at this temperature.As the oxidation time increases,the composition of the oxide film evolves as following:One layer consisting of a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)sublayer and an upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture sublayer after oxidized for 25 h.Then,two layers composed of an outermost small NiO discontinuous grain layer and an internal layer for 75 h.This internal layer is consisted of the bottom Al_(2)O_(3)sublayer,an intermediate narrow CrTaO_(4)sublayer,and an upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture sublayer.Also two layers comprising an outermost relative continuous NiO layer with large grain size and an internal layer as the oxidation time increases to 125 h.This internal layer is composed of the upper(Al_(2)O_(3)+NiO)mixture sublayer,an intermediate continuous(CrTaO_(4)+NiWO_(4))mixture sublayer,and a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)sublayer.Finally,three layers consisting of an outermost(NiAl2O_(4)+NiCr2O_(4))mixture layer,an intermediate(CrTaO_(4)+NiWO_(4))mixture layer,and a bottom Al_(2)O_(3)layer for 200 h. 展开更多

An in situ coupling strategy to prepare Co_9S_8/S and N dual?doped graphene composite(Co_9S_8/NSG) has been proposed. The key point of this strategy is the function?oriented design of organic compounds. Herein, cobalt porphyrin derivatives with sulfo groups are employed as not only the coupling agents to form and anchor Co_9S_8 on the graphene in situ, but also the heteroatom?doped agent to generate S and N dual?doped graphene. The tight coupling of multiple active sites endows the composite materials with fast electrochemical kinetics and excellent stability for both oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER). The obtained electrocatalyst exhibits better activity parameter(ΔE = 0.82 V) and smaller Tafel slope(47.7 mV dec^(-1) for ORR and 69.2 mV dec^(-1) for OER) than commercially available Pt/C and RuO_2. Most importantly, as electrocatalyst for rechargeable Zn–air battery, Co_9S_8/NSG displays low charge–discharge voltage gap and outstanding long?term cycle stability over 138 h compared to Pt/C–RuO_2. To further broaden its application scope, a homemade all?solid?state Zn–air battery is also prepared, which displays good charge–discharge performance and cycle performance. The function?oriented design of N_4?metallomacrocycle derivatives might open new avenues to strategic construction of high?performance and long?life multifunctional electrocatalysts for wider electro?chemical energy applications. 展开更多

Components and crystal structures of the intermetallic phases in a gravity die-cast Mg-6.0Zn-1.5Nd-0.5Zr(wt%)alloy were investigated using transmission electron microscopy.The results indicate that this alloy has multiple intermetallic phases and various inner faults.Totally,six eutectoid intermetallic phases,namely W(Mg Nd Zn_(3)),T(Mg_(39)Zn_(55)Nd_(6)),(Mg,Zr)Zn_(2),Z(Mg_(28)Zn_(65)Nd_(7)),H_(2)(Mg_(15)Zn_(70)Nd_(15)),and H1(Mg_(24)Zn_(64)Nd_(11)),were simultaneously observed at grain boundaries,and six precipitates(Z,Mg_(7)Zn_(3),T,Mg_(4)Zn_(7),β_(1)-Mg Zn_(2) and β_(2)-Mg Zn_(2))were found inα-Mg grains.Furthermore,faults like sub-grain boundaries,orientation domains(coherent with the same matching plane but with different orientations),stacking faults and twins were observed in the eutectoid intermetallic phases.Finally,some new orientation relationships between the known intermetallic phases were revealed.This paper can provide new insight into alloy design for Mg-Zn-RE(RE:rare earth)based alloys. 展开更多

Perovskite oxides with diverse composition and structure have exhibited grand advances in boosting the oxygen reduction and evolution reaction(ORR/OER),which are essential for the reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cell(R-PCEC)toward the sustainable hydrogen production and utilization.However,enhancement of their activity and stability remains challenging.Herein,we develop the Ta-regulated BaCo_(0.7)Fe_(0.3)O_(3-δ)perovskite oxygen electrode(Ba(Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.3))_(1-x)Ta_xO_(3-δ))with abundant oxygen defects and achieve the simultaneous enhancement in the electrocatalytic activity and stability toward ORR and OER.As-fabricated R-PCEC with(Ba(Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.3))_(0.9)Ta_(0.1)O_(3-δ))(BCFT10)oxygen electrode performs high power density of 1.47 W·cm^(-2)at 650℃in fuel cell mode,and the current density is up to-2.11 A·cm^(-2)at 1.4 V at 650℃in electrolysis mode,as well as the good stability in both the fuel cell and electrolysis modes.Importantly,the cell also demonstrates a stable cycling operation between fuel cell and electrolysis mode,suggesting a great potential of BCFT10 as oxygen electrode material for R-PCECs. 展开更多

Two n-butoxy-encapsulated dendritic thermally activated delayed fluorescent(TADF) emitters(namely O-D1 and O-D2) with the first-/second-generation carbazoledendrons are designed and synthesized via C—N coupling between carbazoledendrons and 2,4,6-tris(4-bromophenyl)-1,3,5-triazine core.It is found that,compa red with the commo nly-used tert-butyl groups,the use of n-butoxy encapsulation groups can lead to smallersinglet-triplet energy gap for the dendrimers,producing stronger TADF effect together with faster reverse intersystem crossing process.Solution-processed TADF organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) utilizingalkoxy-encapsulated dendrimers O-D1 and O-D2 as emitters exhibitstate-of-the-art device efficiency withthe maximum external quantum efficiency up to 16.8% and 20.6%,respectively,which are ~1.6 and~2.0 times that of the tert-butyl-encapsulated counterparts.These results suggest that alkoxy encapsulation of the carbazole-based TADF dendrimers can be a promising approach for developing highly efficient emitters for solution-processed OLEDs. 展开更多
